Rate this book
Smart moms know how kids’ minds grow upon sweet pickles!

Responsible Rabbit meticulously – often compulsively – runs according to schedule from morning to night. With his pocket calculator and precision watches, he accounts for every second of every minute as he is busily on-the-go.

Sweet Pickles is a series of 40 classic children's books based on 26 animal characters living in the town of Sweet Pickles. There’s one character for each letter of the alphabet and each has an exaggerated human personality trait. One-by-one, the characters finds themselves faced with one of life's common pickles, but just because a pickle is a problem doesn’t mean it can't be handled! The life lessons that come out of each character's pickle impart basic values, ethics and social skills to children.

The original Sweet Pickles book series has been digitally remastered into enhanced ebooks with vibrant artwork, and a soundtrack of award-winning animation voice actors, narrators, and story-based sound effects.

The new enhanced ebooks series creates an entertaining and engaging experience for children, while being an educational reading tool for parents and the whole family.

Rabbit has every day scheduled to the minute. I suppose some people run on a schedule. I have the opposite problem. I don’t really schedule anything and I sometimes don’t get a lot done. I feel like I have little time. I am on time and get work done, but sometimes it doesn’t happen until it is due. Maybe I need to be a little more like Rabbit. His schedule stresses me out. There is something to be said to being able to relax and be present in life. I feel Rabbit is missing his presence.

His friends stage an intervention and help Rabbit learn to relax and unwind. They are good friends. These books are good as they relate to the world we live in in a way kids can understand.

The kids enjoyed this book and they gave it 4 stars. The niece enjoys having charts to an extent, but she like free time too. They both thought Rabbit was crazy. I guess he is.

I read this book to my children at bedtime. It was a lot of fun. Rabbit seems to be a bit obsessive and compulsive about time management. His friends are worried about him, but he doesn't have time to listen to their concerns. Rabbit has them make an audio recording so he can listen to their concerns whilst he prepares dinner. That's when the fun starts!

Rest Rabbit Rest is a book about time. This is a good literature book to read during whole group math time while introducing the topic of time to first graders. The rabbit talks about time, minutes, and schedules.

My favorite Sweet Pickles House

When I was a little girl: I wanted to live in Sweet Pickles. I especially wanted to label my house like Rabbit. I'm so glad the Sweet Pickles series is available on Kindle.
