Alex Cheradon just got thrown out a fiftieth-floor window.
Which would normally ruin anyone’s day.
Fortunately, Alex has a partner who can swing in on a fire hose and save him before he splatters across the Vegas pavement.
Unfortunately, that’s the least of his problems.
What started as a simple case—track down a missing man named Ronald Hudson—has already involved Russian gangsters, a hotel room covered in blood, and a giant psychopath who thought tossing Alex out a skyscraper was a reasonable negotiation tactic.
Now Hudson is loose somewhere on the Vegas Strip.
Everyone seems to be looking for him.
And whatever he’s carrying is important enough that people are willing to kill to get it.
Which means Alex and his barely-sane partner Devon are about to dive headfirst into a mystery involving mobsters, con artists, and secrets that definitely should have stayed buried.
