This collection is absolutely awesome!!! It has some of my most favorite authors of all time! Sarah Cradit, Magen McMinimy and Brandy Rivers are incredible and their stories in this book are just the beginning of their unlimited talent! The best part is that its all for charity!!! How can you resist incredible stories, talented authors, one low price AND it goes to cancer research! I can't say enough about all of these wonderful people and these incredible stories! It took me 5 days to read them all because I couldn't put it down!

OK, so this book was for charity but the cynical part of me thinks that for some authors it is a happy coincidence so that they could use the opportunity to tout stories as part of their book series. Some authors were quite upfront about this at the start of their stories (thank you for your honesty) whereas one author in particular practically cut off her story practically mid paragraph (hence the bitterness of this review).
Less than half the stories are stand alone stories. Even if your book was part of a series I still would expect a complete story as part of your book series, just because you claim it is part of a series, it does not give you a right to offer up a half-baked effort.

Ellie Bright herself submitted a complete story, as did Kellee Gilmore, Missy Johnson, Angel Lawson and Brandy L Rivers. These authors should be applauded for their efforts and as a reader I didn't feel short-changed by their stories, thank you for submitting them. I also enjoyed Emma Shade's story which felt complete, even though it was the start of a series.

I really want to give Ellie 5 starts for her fundraising efforts, but based on my experience of the compilation, I can only give it a 2 start rating at most, which is an awful pity because some of the stories within the collection do deserve at least 4 starts or higher.

Review based on In Too Deep (Others of Edenton, #1) by Brandy L Rivers
Good Paranormal Romance! This book is the first in the series of the Others of Edenton and introduced me to quite a few new paranormal characters. It is a full length novel and tells the story of a very strong woman how may have finally found the right man. Before she can move on she needs to battle a few past demons first. And now a bit about the story...
Fallon has just left Issac - a weretiger who got caught cheating - and physically crashes into Brody - a werewolf. Her motorcycle is trashed and Brody is injured. After healing him and killing the two vampires who were after him she is exhausted. Luckily she is close to Edenton where Brody is from and her best friend Jess lives. Jess is a psychic who knew she would be coming and has everything lined up for her to stay - a place to live, a job, a hunk of a wolf to fall for - everything she needs. Will Fallon fall for him though or is she in too deep with the troubles from her past? Give this book I try, I liked and I'm sure you will too!
Favorite Passage: Adam frowned. "I think you need to get her drunk so we might have to shot at winning a game." ... "Thank you." She drank half of her beer in a few gulps and gave Adam a look. "I only get better with alcohol."
I'm hoping book two is about Hayden and Dacia!

Captivating Reads, lacks good editing
I really enjoyed these books, most were fast, easy reads. most of these books were the first books in trilogy's or new series which I've started reading too. I really appreciate that these are all (except for one) complete stories, not introductory chapters or serials which leave you hanging. while the authors leave you eager to read the next book in their series, all of these books are stand alone full stories.
there are lots of typos and grammatical errors in these stories, if you can overlook them, you will enjoy this collection
