Just when life leads me down a path I was unprepared for, here comes a curveball showing me what true love really is.
Lady Luck has never sent good fortune in my direction. With an absentee mother and an imprisoned father, I’m left alone more often than I can count. A pariah in my hometown, all I need to do is keep my head down and graduate from a nearby University.
That is until college hockey superstar Graham Marchese enters my life. Persistent, and handsome, he gives me hope and a taste of what life can be…
And then an unlikely and devastating surprise changes everything, and all the good things in my life come to a screeching halt. The dreams that were within my grasp are brutally ripped away.
When Graham suddenly reappears in my life years later coaching my son’s hockey camp, my world rocks all over again. I must prevent myself from falling in love all over again and not only protect my young son, but the last remaining secret that threatens everything I hold dear.
But Graham has always been bold and tenacious in his quest to win and protect my heart. There’s no way he’s backing down this time. Not when he’s finally found me again.
Stacey Lynn likes her coffee with a dash of sugar, her heroes with a side of bossy, and her wine a deep shade of red.
The author of over thirty romance novels, many of which have been best-selling titles on Amazon, AppleBooks, and Barnes & Noble.
Born in Texas and raised in the Midwest, she now makes her home in North Carolina and loves all things Southern. Together with her ultimate tall, dark, and handsome hero, she has four children. Her life is a chaotic mess that fights with her Type-A, list-making, neurotically organized preferences and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Likes: This was such a sweet second chance romance! The chemistry between Holly and Graham was perfect, and I loved the banter between them. Holly is a strong character, despite all the hardships she faced. And Graham, who had his fair share of horrible experiences as well, is a ray of sunshine in her life. I love his confidence and dedication to Holly, both in the past and present times of the book
Dislikes: I was disappointed in how Holly handled telling Graham her big secret. I feel like that was a cruel way of going about it and could've been handled a lot better. That was just a part of her character I didn't like.
Favorite moment: When Graham gave Jonah new skates 💕 Everyone's reactions in that scene had me choking up a bit

4.5 ⭐️ Second book in the series and I knew it was also going to crush my soul.
At one point I wanted to chuck my kindle at the wall. But I read this in a day. It sucked me in like I was following Glen Powell into a tornado.
Graham x Holly Rich superstar hockey boy x wrong side the tracks girl (The Cinderella story but more trauma) Gold retriever/ he falls first Second chance Kismet Single mom & surprise baby Then & Now Grief & traumas
The “Deer Creek” series has sucked me and I have been loving each book. “Love Me Boldly” is an emotional, romantic and swoony, he falls first second chance romance that was a great story and I finished it in one day.
Holly has had a difficult life and luck has never been on her side. Her mother left her when she was young and her father did not take it well and became the town drunk. His bad decisions have left Holly in a bad spot and most of the town hates her. And when in college, Graham Marchese, hockey superstar enters her life. Graham is intrigued with Holly from the beginning and shows her what a future with him could be like. But when her mom pops into her life and leaves her with a responsibility she wasn’t expecting, she blocks him from her life. But fast forward six years later, he’s the coach for her son’s hockey camp. And Graham knows this is his second chance with the girl who got away.
Holly and Graham had such a sweet and romantic story and I loved it so much. Holly’s tough life in Deer Creek is so unfair to her but the way she held her head high had me cheering for her so much. I loved the relationship she had with her Aunt Caroline and how close they were. Graha has all the golden retriever energy and how he liked Holly for Holly. He’s so sweet, genuine and wanted to know her for her. Their banter when they were in college was great and was still there when they saw each other years later. They had a slow build to their relationship and they were truly friends before. Their relationship was right but at the wrong time. They both had things to do and needed that time to grow. I loved how they were thrown back into each other’s life with hockey again and Holly’s son, Jonah. Jonah is such a cute kid who has a heart of gold like Holly. Holly and Graham have deep backstories that shaped their future but definitely made them stronger for it. The last few chapters and epilogue were so sweet and wrapped up their story perfectly.
This was a hard book to put down, one of those I will read a chapter or two before bedtime. Well, that did not work out so well. I was hooked.
Holly has not had the best luck in life. She works hard for what she does have. The town judges her for the sins of her father, and she just needs to graduate and leave town. But she meets a charming guy in a bar. She is not looking for anything, but he keeps crossing paths with her. She gives in, and a friendship forms, but Holly is keeping Graham at arms length; her walls are high.
Just as she is getting comfortable, her world crumbles, and her mother reappears.
Years pass, and Holly and Graham are back in each other's world, the ice rink. Will he let her get away again? Will her secrets scare him away?
Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.
Holly has had a dreadful childhood, her mother became a drug addict and her father forgot about her. Then things become worse, they lose their house as her father becomes the town drunk and then things get even worse! She meets Graham one night when her friend, Tracey, drags her to a bar but they have to leave quickly. Then she meets him again at school, he keeps finding her and although she pretends she doesn't want to see him she really does! Then she finds out something terrible and just leaves him, cutting him off completely as it's the only way she can cope. Her life changes that night for the worse, she can't go to college, and for the better, she's looking after her baby brother. This is a very emotional story, hanky needed. Holly has such a hard time but doesn't buckle under the pressure, she just gets on with it. Graham helps her as much as he can and she allows him to, he's a sweetheart. Not read any of Stacey's books before but will be reading more.
Me?? Reading a closed door spice romance ? Yes. My tastes are versatile and when the book is good, you don’t always need the spice. Sometimes the emotions of the story are just as gripping and make the story so much more intriguing.
This book is set in two different time lines. The first half of the book we get the back story on Holly, our FMC. This girls life has been nothing but a series of let downs and heartbreak since she was born. Her mother is a drug addict and abandons her family. Her father can’t cope and becomes the town drunk. Holly becomes a social pariah as the town punishes her for her father’s sins.
While in college she meets Graham , our MMC. Hot shot hockey player and golden boy. The minute Graham sees her he’s smitten. Holly is too but she acts like she isn’t because she’s insecure about her past and feels unworthy of love or anything good. They keep bumping into each other in college and right when it seems like Holly is about to let her guard down for Graham , her mother reappears and ruins everything. Turning her life upside down and dropping a responsibility onto Holly’s lap that no young girl should ever have to carry. So Holly does the only thing she can do. Leaves college and Graham behind. Right person, wrong time…
Fast forward 6 years and Holly is face to face with her past as she sees that Graham is the coach for her son’s hockey camp. This time, Graham has no intention of ever letting Holly get away. She was always the one for him. And even after all those years apart, he still feels just as strongly for her as he did in college.
Graham learns all about her past and loves her even more. Showing her that she’s more than the mistakes of her parents. He’s always been able to see her for HER. He loves her through her pain and helps her understand that she is more than she gives herself credit for. The love and care that these two show for each other was beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. Seeing Holly struggle to accept that anyone could love or care for her the way Graham does broke my heart.
The way Graham loved Holly’s son just as much and built that bond with him was everything. He loved every part of Holly and her life and made it known that he wasn’t letting her go. And he never did.
At times the pacing felt a little off. The read was short but I wish we had a longer second half of the book to really see more of their relationship and how things evolved with them. But all in all it was a really good read 💜
Thank you so much to Stacey Lynn and VPR for the opportunity to ARC read this beautiful book 🩷

Thankyou to Valentine PR for the ARC of this book, I quite enjoyed it! Easy 4 star read for me, I started it later at night thinking I’d read a few chapters to get a feel and my sleep went out the window. I powered through this! Holly is such a strong character and really got dealt a bad hand but always continued to power through. Graham was so good for her while Holly also being exactly what he needed considering he also had some baggage. I loved them together and wish the book was longer so I could’ve gotten more!
It's no secret that I am a sucker for 2nd chance/dual timeline love stories and Love Me Boldly just reinforced my obsession. Love Me Boldly is a story about second chances, beautifully innocent love, and the courage to go after what you want no matter how long it's been.
Holly didn't have much - crappy trailer, awful childhood, and extra terrible parents but she was making it work. She had a ride-or-die bestie, a job to make ends meet, and a vision board with dreams of getting out of her small town after graduation. What Holly didn't expect was to catch the eye of one of the school's most popular hockey players, Graham Marchese. On the surface, Graham seemed like your typical golden retriever happy-go-lucky MMC, but Graham had gone through his own versions of tough times.
This was a great 2nd chance story with chemistry, flirting, and banter that I could not put down. Without a doubt, Graham is a new top tier book boyfriend - he had me kicking my feet and blushing the entire book.
This is a beautiful, perfectly sweet book to add to your TBR if you are in a slump, want something easily bingeable, or are just looking to fall in love with love again.

*thank you to Valentine PR and Stacey Lynn for the opportunity to read and review this book.
I absolutely loved book 1 to this series so as soon as I saw a sign up for book 2, I jumped on it! This is a standalone series. We had some interconnections with a character and location so I believe this could totally be read as a standalone.
I loved the idea behind this book. I loved the back story and the come back from trauma that the FMC suffered. There is a pretty good twist in this one that I didn’t see coming which made for a good midpoint climax. However, I felt the pacing was off. This is a fairly short book and it was back story for 50% of the book. The book then switches to present day for the last half. The first half of the book felt like it was trying to get to the point. The last half felt more rushed and less detailed. I still enjoyed the story and the plot. I feel this is definitely a book a spice free romance reader will enjoy. But beware there are some dark moments throughout the story!
⚠️ Possible Trigger Warnings
Thank you to @valentine_pr_ for giving me the opportunity to read this ARC.
Thank you Valentines PR and Stacey Lynn for an arc copy of Love Me Boldly in exchange for an honest review.
I immediately liked Holly, she seemed like a wonderful strong female main character, which I always love. And Graham was already devoted since the beginning which was making me go feral, in a good way. Don't get me started on the hockey! I love hockey players, and Graham being one made him 10x hotter. Also not to mention I was being taught actual hockey rules which was very informative and entertaining to say the least.
I loved Holly's relationship with everyone in the town (that actually talked to her), it was sweet and wholesome to see how much they all cared about her, even if she didn't fully realize it. I love how all the characters have layers, how they're getting the time to know each other and open up like actual people. People who have vulnerabilities and emotions, it's shown so truthfully and I love it.
ALSO the way Graham would immediately giver her reassurance and turn down other girls without her even having to look at him with a raised eyebrow was so hot. Him calling her to tell her everytime a girl would talk to him...on his own will was so attractive. And guys, this man takes care of his hygiene.
And holy shit the plot... chapter 12 absolutely bombed me with that one. I don't have words to describe how shocked I was. I was so insanely flabbergasted. It was crazy how everything was falling apart so quickly. And chapter 14 too? omg. Suddenly getting Graham's pov was shocking as well, so many surprises. I wish I could talk about it...but this is a spoiler free review. Just read the book.
The only thing is as deep as it was it wasn't heart shattering super crazy deep, I didn't cry I just felt bad. Which isn't terrible. It just means it didn't hit me all the way, super hard.

QUOTES
•The guy was relentless. He clearly wanted my attention. I was certain he’d been only looking for a fun time, but he hadn’t given up. And now he was in front of me, looking all shameless and cute.
•“So there are some things that you don’t know about me.” He leaned back in his chair and flashed that cocksure grin. “Hopefully not for long.”
•He asked it with another brush of his thumb over my cheek, like he couldn’t not be touching me. Like he needed it, even if it was in the smallest ways.
I thought Love Me Boldly was a sweet romance, it just wasn't for me. So please don't let my rating deter you. I just couldn't get into the story as much as I would have liked and while I did finish it, I probably wouldn't have cared if I wouldn't have.

Holly has had a rough life, and is counting the minutes until she graduates so she may hopefully get out of her town and start a new life. Away from the drama that surrounds her. When she meets Graham it's like a breath of fresh air to have someone care and support her and stand up for her. But when truth's come out and life changing events take place, Holly says goodbye and cuts him out of her life for good.
That is until she runs into years later in the last place she ever expected. While Holly tries to keep him at arms length, Graham is determined to win her back. Even if that means temporarily moving to her hometown. Holly doesn't make it easy but Graham broke her walls down before and he will do it again.
Thank you Valentine PR Services for providing me with an advanced reading copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Love Me Boldly by Stacey Lynn is book two in her Deer Creek series. This is a very good second chance romance between Graham Marchese and Holly Jones. A heartfelt tale about how the choices and actions of her parents have impacted her life in the past and the lasting consequences she still has to battle in the present. This couple are from two totally different worlds but he falls first then has to wait years for the opportunity to prove to her they are meant to be together. Will she trust him or run?
Holly has had a hard life due to her family. Her mother was an addict and walked out on them causing her father to become a drunk. He then ended up in prison so she lives alone in a run down trailer. She now has one semester left before she graduates and can escape the gossip and horrific memories of Deer Creek. One night her best friend Tracy persuades her to go out and they meet Graham and Tanner in a local bar. Graham is handsome and catches her eye but she trusts no-one. They are surprised to find out the guys are also students at NWCU.
Graham likes her sass and how she made him laugh which was surprising as he’d had a hard year. He is persistent with his smirks, flirtatious banter and endearing ways that she’s willing to take a risk and they become friends. Holly has built the walls up around her so high that Graham knows he has to work hard and to slowly knock them down. He is thoughtful and so careful with her because he is convinced she might run at any time.
They have more in common than she thought but neither are good at opening up and are hiding secrets. It turns out he plays hockey for the college team with Tanner and their friend Eli. She is worried what will happen when he finds out the truth about her family. Could she dare dream and hope of a future with him? Not everyone is happy they are together and when revelations are made it blows everything up for the couple. Holly doesn’t see a way they can recover from it and breaks both their hearts. Her life then takes a dramatic turn when her mother makes a surprise visit and poor Holly loses all her hopes and dreams in one night.
Six years later, she’s a single mum to the adorable Jonah and working with her Aunt Caroline at The Grille in Deer Creek. The past haunts her when she bumps into Eli and then finds out Jonah’s coach at hockey camp is Graham. I felt so sorry for Graham as she never gave him the opportunity to talk about the bombshell that she hit him with. I think she used it as an excuse to get out of the relationship because she was so convinced it wouldn’t work.
Graham has never got over Holly and hates returning to NWCU but agreed to coach and one kid has such potential. He is confused and shocked to find out who his mum is. I loved how he refuses to walk away this time and is determined to prove to her they can work it out. He is so kind and patient with her throughout. I was so pleased everyone persuaded her to give him another go because he was absolutely worth it, plus Jonah was a great little matchmaker.
Eli is so sweet and Tanner hilarious, they both contributed so much to the story in their different ways. Tanner was the jokester and lightened things up, then Eli was always there, supportive and a good friend to both of them. Loved when they visited her at Grille and the scene at the ice arena with the guys and Jonah was delightful. Nice catching up with everyone from book one and I liked her Aunt Caroline. Tracy was a great best friend and her being in contact with Tanner is intriguing.
I got the twist and knew where the story was heading but I didn’t know how he was going to react to the news so it didn’t spoil it in any way. There is a lot of the before part so I would have liked a little bit more about them as a couple when got back together. The star of the book is Jonah, who was absolutely wonderful. I enjoyed the fun ending and Holly realising Graham has become the man she needed and now loves and trusts him to make all her dreams come true.
This is book two in The Deer Creek series and it is Holly and Graham’s story and omg it is definitely a must read. Holly hadn’t had a easy life as her mother left which caused her dad to spiral and turn to alcohol and then in prison for killing somebody leaving Holly to fend for herself while dealing with nasty people in the town and even though she was at university it caused her to become withdrawn and on her own a lot so what she wanted was to finish university and then move out of town away from all the people who constantly judged her for something that is not her fault and then she meets Graham who wants to get to know her but with the walls around her that she had built so high he will have to be really patient especially as he feels like Holly is so withdrawn and had her own secrets so until she can trust him he will have to just make sure that he is by her side and support her. Graham is a hockey player for the university and he had also had a bad year after the loss of a friend but when he sees Holly he is totally captivated by her and he wants to get to know her but she is so guarded which isn’t making it easy for him and because Graham had a lot of patience he was biding his time with her and trying to break down her walls while taking things slowly hoping that eventually she will trust him and realise that there are still good men out there and worth taking a chance on. Holly and Graham start spending time together and feelings started to grow between them but then a secret is revealed that completely tears them apart leaving them both hurt, angry, devastated and heartbroken and then Holly gets another shock and blow that completely changed her life while leaving room for no one else in her life. Years later and Holly and Graham meet again and they realise that they never got over each other so now Graham has the biggest battle on his hands and that was to make Holly see that they were always destined to be together and all she had to do was take that chance and step forward while lowering her walls while taking a leap of faith and trust Graham and how they both feel about each other so that they can get the happiness and future that they both always wanted and deserved especially after everything that life had thrown at them. Holly and Graham were so perfect together and for each other and even though they had many ups and downs along the way you find yourself hoping that everything will eventually turn out for them in the end. Wow this book takes you on the biggest rollercoaster ride of emotions ever and I couldn’t put this book down because it was so addictive and kept my attention throughout and I can’t wait to read more books in the future by this author.
This series seems to be about women who have dark times in their lives and I’m all for that. I love angst followed by light, and both the books so far have shown me that.
Holly Jones has been the town pariah for too many years. First, her mom leaves home, looking for her next high, her father crumbles and turns into the town’s drunk. Holly was raised in bars, doing her homework while her father drinks. And to top it all off, her father kills a girl and ends in prison. The accident ruined the town’s tourism season, and in small-minded fashion, Holly was paying the price for her parents’ crimes. The result of it is that she has trust issues, expects the worse of people, and lives with a “glass half-empty” mentality.
When Holly met Graham, in her last semester of college, he feel hard but she had strong walls of protection. He was persistent, and eventually they dated, but she learned a secret that ties her dark past to his past and she blocked him from her life. Then, her baby brother falls into her arms, and she now has a new purpose in life.
Six years later, Graham is back in town, sees her, and seizes the moment to get his second chance. Again, he’s persistent and determined, and poor Holly doesn’t know what she’s up against.
I enjoyed all the angst, even thought Holly’s negativity irritated me sometimes. Even so, I understood that with her life story, she didn’t have reason to expect positive things to happen to her. I loved that Graham was so persistent and loved so hard and boldly, that he was finally able to break the chains that bind her to a closed-off life. I loved how she received her little brother and made him her life, giving him the life and love she didn’t have in hers. And I loved how, eventually, she ended up with a village of friends who loved her and cared for her, even if it took her a while to realize that.
The story has many dour moments, with small moments of sunshine, and as the story develops, Holly starts to question her dark attitude, hope begins to shine through, and some bravery comes forward, daring her to trust and love. This is women’s fiction at its best, evolving and working through issues towards a bright and shiny future, and I loved this.
Love Me Boldly is the second book in the Deer Creek series. So far, the first is still my favorite of the two, but this one was still an enjoyable read which follows the romance of Holly and Graham.
Holly has had a rough life..... you will just want to hug her, comfort her, and help her. To make matters worse, the people in her hometown have unfairly placed judgement on her for her parent's mistakes. Very few people in town treat her with kindness, but these individuals are absolute gems! I highly enjoyed these side characters.
Graham is precisely what Holly needs. I love the way he meets her where she is at and goes the extra mile to reassure her. He is persistent, kind, and patient. Their connection is very sweet. Graham has had his own troubles in life, and eventually the two share their troubles with one another. Shortly after, life throws Holly a curveball and derails her life. With no other choice (so she thinks), she stops communication with Graham and moves home.
Six years later, the two cross paths again in an unexpected way. They finally get to talk about what happened all those years ago. Then Graham decides he is not going to let her get away again, and sets out to prove to her that they should be together.
I enjoyed their connection and story. There were a lot of moments of sadness that demands empathy from the reader. The side characters are a delight, and Jonah steals the show!!! I love him so much!!
I wish this book was a little bit longer (or edited differently) so that we could've gotten more of certain things and less of others. I'd say at least 50% of the book was backstory. While I enjoyed the backstory, there is quite a bit of information explored during the "present" chapters. Because there was quite a bit going on, it felt slightly rushed.
Overall, it was a decent, enjoyable second-chance romance that could easily become a favorite for some.
𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐌𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐥𝐲 is the 2nd book in the Deer Creek series by Stacey Lynn, featuring an emotional, angsty, and sweet romance for Graham and Holly. Life certainly hasn’t been kind to Holly. She wouldn’t have any luck at all, if it weren’t for bad luck. She thought she found her light in the darkness in Graham, until the cruelest of coincidences ripped him away, too. When she found herself face-to-face with him again 6 years later with her son at her side, could she really shut him out again?
What an emotionally charged, beautifully written story! While I didn’t agree with all of Holly’s actions, my heart broke for her. She didn’t stand a chance with the hand she was dealt, and yet, she fought with an admirable fortitude to provide for Jonas. I appreciated the unique twist on the single mom trope. I loved Graham from the beginning… his flirty banter, the smirk, the confidence. Even after it all went bad, he held out hope. While it’s obvious they have chemistry, that’s never the focus on page. It’s more about the emotions and the deeper connection, and it works! The twists and turns were woven into the fabric of the drama and emotional backdrop with ease. I couldn’t put the book down. The friendships also shined brightly throughout, as a testament to the great world building. It was so fun to see more of Cole and Trina, but also to get to know Tracey, Tanner, and Eli better! I must mention how thrilled I was to see such a fantastic epilogue, as well!🥰 I can’t wait to see where the series goes next!
I received an ARC for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Graham and Holly are opposites in every way, but he doesn’t let that stop him. He knows there’s something special about her, so he doesn’t give up on her. He never pushes her too far and always finds a way to make her know that any interaction they have is ultimately her choice, even reminding her that she can delete his number. She hasn’t had any luck in life, unless it was bad luck. Her father did something that the whole town holds against her and her mom left when she was young. She hasn’t built walls to protect herself but Graham sneaks under and won’t let go.
Just when they are falling in love, she realizes the connection they have, and without giving him the chance to prove other wise, does what she thinks is best and breaks things off. Then, it’s like she is a ghost. He never sees her again, until years later, and he vows to get closure. But, just like in college, he can’t walk away.
Holly has had more heartbreak in her life than one person deserves, and she can’t believe she is in Grahams life again. She fights it again, but ultimately decides to fight for her happiness. Her mom coming back into her life gives her a great gift, but makes her life harder. Letting Graham in again is scary, but she also never stopped loving him. Will they get the second chance they both deserve? Or will fate be unkind to her again?
An emotional, realistic story about young love, letting the one you love go, and finding happiness through the pain. I couldn’t put this book down. Graham is boyfriend goals for sure. I received an ARC and this is my honest, voluntary review.
ARC Review: 5⭐️ Love my Boldly is book 2 in the Deer Creek series featuring Graham Marchese & Holly Jones.
Graham & Holly meet in college and date for a few months. Holly is reluctant to let him in all the way due to her life and things that have happened. When she discovers her father played a role in Graham loosing a close friend she pushes him away and essentially vanishes.
The same day, Holly’s mom shows up and leaves her new born baby with her, causing Holly to have to make a decision regarding her future.
Flash forward 6 years into the future, Holly is raising her son Jonah as her own while still living and working in Deer Creek. She puts him in a hockey camp and on the final day she shows up to pick him up, coming face to face with Graham again after many years.
Graham has tried like heck to get over Holly, but he never could get over her essentially vanishing without a trace years ago. When she comes to the hockey camp he’s helping to coach to pick up her son, he can’t help but feel this is his second chance to win her over.
Will they finally get their shot at being together after all these years or will Holly push him away once more ?
Wow I loved this story so so much! It was gut wrenching and emotional at times while also being sweet and spicy! I really felt like I could connect to the characters and was rooting for them! If you haven’t checked out this series yet I highly recommend !
Holly has had a hard life, and she doesn't trust easily. She works hard for what she has and is determined to make something of herself. She is from a small town and the town judges her for her fathers actions. When she meets a charming guy in a bar who doesn't give up on her. Holly isn't looking for anything but he doesn't give up on her and keeps crossing paths with her on purpose. She keeps him at arms length and he has to work hard to get through her walls.
Just when she starts getting comfortable her world comes crashing down in more ways then one.
Years pass and she has made a life for herself the best that she can, but when Graham and Holly's worlds collide again will they finally get their chance at their happily ever after?
This was a hard book to put down, I loved Holly and Graham from the first chapter. These characters are great together and are there for one another. This series just keeps getting better and I loved Graham's friends. This book that has you hooked from the beginning is emotional, sweet, shows how important forgiveness is, and Holly and Graham are truly meant to be together. I loved these character's strength and willingness to fight for what they want. I am loving this series and I cannot wait to see what is in store for us next.
Received ARC from Stacey Lynn and Valentine PR for honest review.
Love Me Boldly by Stacey Lynn is an emotionally charged and heartfelt small-town romance that beautifully explores themes of resilience, second chances, and the power of love. The story follows a young woman navigating a difficult past and a complicated present, whose life is forever changed when Graham Marchese, a persistent and caring college hockey star, reenters her world.
What I appreciated most was the authentic emotional depth Stacey Lynn brings to her characters. The chemistry between the leads is palpable, blending tender moments with witty banter and genuine connection. The story tackles heavy themes with sensitivity, portraying struggles and healing in a way that feels real and respectful. Graham’s unwavering support and determination add a powerful layer of hope and protection to the narrative.
While the plot includes some familiar romance elements, the strong character development and the small-town setting give the story a warm, intimate feel. The pacing is well-balanced, weaving together moments of sweetness, tension, and heartbreak that keep the reader engaged throughout.
Overall, Love Me Boldly is a solid four-star read for fans of emotionally rich, character-driven romances with a touch of angst and plenty of heart. Stacey Lynn delivers a moving and compelling story that lingers long after the last page.
⭐️ARC REVIEW⭐️ Love Me Boldly by @staceylynn.author 4.5 ⭐ / 3🔥🌶
Stacey Lynn is one of my favorite authors. Long before I started reviewing books I had read several of her other series. Love Me Boldly is book 2 of her Deer Creek Series. It is making me want to go back and read Book 1.
Love Me Boldly is a beautiful heart-felt, angsty, star-crossed lovers love story. Graham and Holly are just perfect together. Touching heartwarming and an overall excellent read. I couldn’t get enough.
Holly didn’t have much and just wanted to get out of her small town. Graham was a popular hockey star with golden retriever happy go lucky vibes who just happened to have gone through some tough times as well. After Holly has to break both their hearts… years later can they make their second chance work? Graham was always ready to battle for what he wanted. Will he get it this time?
Stacey Delivers a story full of great backstories, larger than life personalities, chemistry, flirting, banter. Love me Boldly is for sure a Bingeable TBR. Add it to your list today!
Thank you @stacylynn.author and @valentine_pr_ for my ARC.
Love Me Boldly is an unexpected, fun, and unique book that I’m learning is what is coming from this series after the first book, and now the second book I love how much this series stands out. This book follows Holly and Graham through two timelines, one when they originally meet in college and their first steps at falling in love and leaning how to deal with their feelings while they are both dealing with a lot of things, and then later when they reconnect in adulthood. These two are honestly like fate, you can tell they are meant to be together, they can they each other off their minds years later, and when they find each other again, Graham isn’t letting Holly go as easily this time, and I was rooting for him from the start.
Holly has it rough from the start of this book till about the 75% mark, she is going through a lot as a college kid and then again in her adult life, and while Graham wasn’t able to help her in the college years but he makes sure she has support as an adult. The love and draw between these two characters comes off the pages so well and it makes this story so sweet and lovable from start to finish!
This book is a testament to love, resilience, and determination. I loved every minute of it, and I could not put it down.
Holly's life has been challenging since her mom left at a young age, causing her dad to spiral out of control. Yet, through it all, Holly has remained resilient, making the best of her situation. When she meets Graham, a talented hockey superstar, at college, she has hopes for the possibility of a brighter future. However, those hopes are quickly dismissed when her mother unexpectedly reappears, leaving her with new, overwhelming responsibilities. This prompts Holly to cut herself off from Graham without him understanding what has changed in her life.
Six years later, both she and Graham are surprised to find each other again. This twist of fate allows him to reconnect with Holly, and he plans on taking full advantage. She is initially reluctant as she feels the pressure of her homelife, but she slowly opens herself to Graham, and their love has an opportunity to flourish again. Together, they have the chance to create a beautiful new chapter! This is an emotional, beautiful love story that you do not want to miss!
I loved it. I love Stacey’s way of writing and how she creates stories so intense with great characters. Her stories will touch your heart and remain there for a long time. Just like love me gently, love me boldly tells the story of a broken girl with a difficult upbringing, a nonexistent family but with a lot of strength to do better for herself. It is a story of the right person, wrong time and bad choices. Holly hadn't had it easy in her life and she is convinced that she can't be happy because she doesn't deserve that happiness. So she pushes her happiness away. Graham thought that he could break down all Holly's walls, but he was wrong and in the end was left with a broken heart. Years later their story was not over, and Graham's perseverance and love will win in the end. I loved him so much, he was always so respectful of Holly's needs and boundaries. Once he found her again, he was so relentless in his pursuit and never lost hope in their connection. I just loved this book so much and Stacey's stories are always the best. I also loved reading about Trina and Cole and having glimpses of their life and the friendship they had with Holly, it was so wholesome.
This is the second book in the Deer Creek series. This is a very emotional, heart tugging book. Our two main characters meet in college. Graham is almost obsessed with her. He shows up at her classes, her parking spots and the place she works. He knows her class schedule and he is determined to get to know her. Holly hasn’t had the easiest life, her mother abandoned her and her father is in prison. Holly is disliked by the people in the town so the attention she gets from Graham, slowly but surely makes her feel good until she realizes that there is a connection between the two of them and she must end their relationship. Then six years later they meet up and once again there are secrets and things than can separate them but Graham knows she is the one and he won’t give up. I love a man who falls first and is strong enough to fight her issues and love enough for both of them. This is an emotional, tension low angst book. This is a clean romance. I don’t mind reading a clean romance (no spice) as long as the plot and story are so compelling that you are caught up in the characters. I didn’t miss the spice the story held my attention and was truly enjoyable.
*4 stars* It's been a really rollercoaster ride of emotions that were going up and down. It was a slow burn for me but after a few chapters I was getting into it and hoping for that happy ending. There were definitely moments that had me guessing what was going to happen next but I truly felt for the lead character Holly who felt like such a strong lady. I loved the flirty banter between Graham & Holly and how their relationship progressed. A lovely read!
Graham & Holly meet when they are young but both have a past that they are trying to move on from but there's always a reminder that pulls them back. There seems to be something between them but when their pasts collides, Holly makes a difficult choice and when one night changes her whole future, it's time to move on. Now years later, Graham comes back into town and finds out the secrets that Holly has kept from him but this time he doesn't want to let go again and hope that she'll give him a chance, even though a lot has changed. Will she give him a chance after everythings said and done?...
Thank you so much to @staceylynn.author & @valentine_pr_ for the eARC copy of this book! 🫶🏼

𝗠𝗬 𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦: This was a very sweet second chance romance with a then & now timeline! I enjoyed getting to read about their connection from their college years. Graham had his eyes set on Holly right from the get go of when they met & he never ever gave up on that attraction. It was almost like Graham could instantly see through to Holly’s soul. Graham knew Holly didn’t have the best upbringing but when he finds out the whole truth of it all, Graham still shows respect towards Holly & never held her past against her which made me so happy to see! Little Jonah was adorable & I loved getting to see the connection that he had with both Holly & eventually Graham! I am excited to see where this series continues to go!

Love Me Boldly is the second book in Stacey Lynn's Deer Creek series and as much as I enjoyed book one I loved this book even more. This book was just faster paced and pulled me into the story and world ever more. The first part of the book takes place in the past when Holly and Graham were in college and the second half was in the present day when they find each other again by chance. Throughout this entire story, past and present Graham is fighting to prove to Holly that he genuinely cares about her and that she is worth the effort. And with Hollys family problems she deserves a man who proves to her that her past doesn't matter and that he will take being with her in whatever capacity she is ready for.
