Neighbors With Benefits

Rate this book
It’s a bad idea to hook up with the three guys next door.
No matter how tall, handsome, and charismatic they might be.
But when I move in next to Aiden, Sebastian, and Dante?
Nobody’s willpower is that strong.

The three romeos travel for work,
Which means one of them is always out of town.
Sharing me is the perfect solution.
Although Dante’s a lot more possessive than the other two…

We spend our days playing Pickleball,
And our nights having a different kind of rough, sweaty fun.
Can the four of us keep it casual, like we agreed?
Or will this neighbors-with-benefits situation blow up in our faces?

NEIGHBORS WITH BENEFITS is an extra spicy reverse harem romance. There’s no cheating, no cliffhangers—and a guaranteed HEA!

This book was a mess. The dialogue and writing were comically bad—I couldn’t take it seriously. Half of the sex scenes were okay, but the other half were pure cringe.

Exhibit A:
“Guuuurl,” Bash said, “you know we like to gossip.”

Exhibit B:

“I moaned into his meat as I pushed my head deeper down his shaft, as deep as I could go—only about halfway since he was so wide.”

I didn’t like how Aiden wasn’t honest with his best friends—the whole relationship started with a lie. I also didn’t like that this was a harem story, but it started as a secret, single relationship. And then there was the third guy, who was completely absent for half the book, only to show up and be a total asshole:

“Since we started working on the greenhouse together, my opinion of her had steadily risen. She followed instructions. She knew when to be quiet, rather than nervously filling the silence with awkward small talk.”

And then, instead of an epic moment where all the main characters declared their love, we got this underwhelming mess:

“I love you, Jazz.”
The words were like a shock to my system. I might have gasped.
He loves me?
“Or at least, I’m falling in love with you,” he quickly added. “I don’t know. I’ve been thinking about my feelings a lot lately, and all that matters is they’re strong.”

The book put such a strong focus on the friends-with-benefits dynamic, but the transition into something more was handled terribly. They were just hooking up for 80% of the story, then suddenly, there was a rushed recap of events with a couple of sex scenes thrown in.

P.S. Cat was the best character, even if she was a little obnoxious at times. At least she found her person in the end.

I feel like this one had it all!!!
Given the premise (and the title) of neighbors with benefits, this could have been just a smutty book, not that I would have complained. However, Cassie turned this into a really lovely heartwarming story about 4 people becoming the best versions of themselves, together.

What I loved best about this book…
- I loved how Aiden, Bash and Jazz became really good friends first, having game nights and spending time together.
- I loved the chemistry between all 3 of them as well (4 eventually)
- I loved that by agreeing to a “friends with benefits “ arrangement at first Jazz was able to stop second guessing her every movement in their “relationship”, she could just be herself, and ask for what she wanted, say what she was thinking.
- Dante was away for work during the first part of the story, when they met I felt it was a little rocky, Dante was distant and kind of pushes Jazz away…But Cassie helps them find common ground eventually
- The story has a good amount of humor and was a blast to read (I.e Aiden and Bash are in a pickleball league and for tournaments they dress in neon 80’s type workout gear - head/sweat bands and short shorts - cause that’s what they want their ‘vibe’ to be. When Aiden is out of town and Bash asks Jazz to fill in for a tournament she jumps right in with the dress code and everything!🤗🤣 the banter throughout between maine characters is fantastic.
- I really love how the neighborhood comes together in the end. It’s awesome!
- the smexy times were fantastically done!
- Cat (Jazz’s best friend) is amazing
- I love how Dante’s character grows

Things I thought could have been done better…
- really not much… The book was a little long for me, but that’s more that I don’t have as long as I would like to read…it wasn’t really that long🥰.

Jazz is a manager at Top Golf and a proud new home owner. Next door resides 3 truly delectable men, all of whom work for the same company and are best friends. Each man is handsome and sinfully sexy, yet wildly different in personality and passions. Dante and Bash both work on their company's acquisition team. Aiden is on the transition team. All travel a vast majority of the year for their job,  which really lends itself for the perfect roommate situation since someone is almost always at home. What it is not perfect for is having a successful relationship with a woman. They have each tried and failed, multiple times over. Women just don't want to date a man who is constantly on the road. They decided that being in a polyamorous relationship together, all sharing the same woman, would fit their needs the best. With their work commitments, it would take all 3 men to satisfy 1 woman's need to have a boyfriend locally. While on the search for the perfect woman, Jazz moves in next door. First captivated by her looks, one by one each man develops first a friendship, then an intimate relationship with her. Would she be open to entering into a casual sexual relationship with all of them? She's the woman of their dreams, but can she handle entering into the lifestyle choice they are electing for themselves?

I loved everything about this book and was truly sad to see this story end.  Each character, from the main characters to the secondary ones, were truly likeable and interesting. I was invested in their relationships from word one. This book is funny and sexy, but what I enjoyed most is the  friendship dynamics between the men, Cat and Jazz, and finally, Jazz and each man. I was rooting for them to get their acts together and hope that they have a very long happily ever after.

A definite must read.

I received this ARC copy, and this is my honest review.

MY RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐.75
SPICE LEVEL:🌶🌶🌶.8
POV: multiple - his,his,his/ hers
TROUPE: Why choose, neighbors, polyamorous
ENDING: no cliffhangers

🚹 CHARACTERS:
Aiden: sensitive, and really caring
Bash: funny, and lad back
Dante: dark and grumpy outside, but sweet and caring in the inside.

🚺 CHARACTER: Jazz
I thoroughly enjoyed the book's portrayal of the FMC, who was a strong, independent, and relatable figure with a sense of humor. Needs mentioning that in start she was a bit naive.

MY THOUGHTS 💭 :
I really liked the book. It wasn't rushed, and most importantly, all relationships developed over time and one by one. The ending, where all of them come together, clearly demonstrates why and how that happened. However, at times, it felt a little too long, especially since Dante was absent until 45% of the book. Perhaps I would have enjoyed his introduction earlier.
The author did a good job of developing the relationships.
I must admit, Dante truly added some spice to the book and was a key element in creating the necessary suspense.
The spice in this book was very diverse, ranging from sweet to savory to spicy. And the use of kitchen utensils – yes, yes, yes!

DO I RECOMMEND ☕️ : It's a hard YES.

When Jazz moved into her new home, she never expected to have three hot men living next door.

Aiden, Bash, and Dante worked together, and due to work commitments, it was easier for them to live together than to own their own homes. Aiden and Bash like Jazz straight away; they get on really well. But they try to remain friends so as not to upset the status quo.

Good intentions fall by the wayside when the attraction gets too much. Can they be neighbours with benefits? Or will feelings become an issue?

Jazz is exploring a side to her she didn't know she had. With it not being a 'relationship' she finds it easier to experiment with the men. However, can she be a person who doesn't catch feelings for those she is intimate with?

The men find the woman they have been looking for, someone willing to have a casual time with all of them, either separately or together, but Jazz becomes more than a fling, she is perfect. Are they willing to take that step and make it more permanent?

Here, Jazz partners up with each of her new next door neighbours while trying to keep their relationship in the friend zone. As time passes feelings blossom, emotions get tested, and their lives become more intertwined.

As this is a novel and not a novella dealing with a polyamorous relationship, it's nice to see how the author takes the time explore the pros and cons of such a situation. There's a lot of careful thought gone into creating these characters and their approach to a situation that challenges traditional ideas of romance and partnership, though some readers may find this approach long winded, mechanical and slightly repetitive.

Along with great characters, plenty of comical banter thanks to Cat, multiple POVs, and plenty of spice, there's a lovely portrayal of living in a nosy neighbourhood.

This is another great read by this author and I really enjoyed the friendships woven throughout. Jazz has a bestie, Cat, and these gals are a hoot together. Jazz's neighbours, though, Aiden, Dante and Bash, are good friends with each other. When they all started to connect, it was as friends and neighbours. Didn't stop their chemistry from being super nova hot ;P Jazz was really able to embrace a relationship with the guys because it started off casual, letting her be free to vocalize what she wanted and with whom. This grew into so much more than friends with benefits and it really read as a heartwarming, sweet and steamy romance. Of course, there is drama, humour and an engaging plot to keep you glued to see how things will unfold, but I definitely can say it's a fun read and worth checking out. And you know this author has your back with a fab HEA. So good!

The opportunity to own one's home is the most scariest and exciting moment in one's life. The freedom, the challenges and the memories are all the building blocks that hold the roof up. Jazz has found the perfect home, in the perfect neighborhood. She is also learning that her neighbors in the green house are unique as well. Aiden, Bash (Sebastian) and Dante are best friends, working for the same company and sharing a home because they all are continuously travelling for work. With the three of them, someone is usually home. I love a story that has amazing character chemistry, gives you a couple laugh out loud moments, leaves you fanning yourself to slow your pulse and cool your temp all in a naturally evolving relationship that is destined for HEA. Enjoy!.

My Kind of Neighbors!

NEIGHBORS WITH BENEFITS is this amazing extra spicy reverse harem romance that is just pure joy! Seriously, it ticks all the boxes: no cheating, no cliffhangers, and a guaranteed HEA that will leave you smiling.

The story starts when our lovely heroine buys a house and finds her new neighbors are three totally hunky guys who are looking for a girlfriend to share. What I really loved is how down-to-earth and real this author makes everything feel – like this dream scenario could totally happen to you! The chemistry between the characters is absolutely fantastic and flows so smoothly through the whole book, not just the steamy parts. I honestly devoured this in one day; I just couldn't put it down! And yes, the spicy scenes were absolutely superb. If you love reverse harem, you definitely need this author on your radar!

Altro giro, altra corsa...

I really enjoyed reading this book. Jazz moves into her new house and notices that she has some very handsome, hunky male neighbours, Aiden, Sebastian and Dante. What she doesn't realize is that the three men are into polyamorous relationships and looking for a new partner. Unfortunately Aiden texts the woman they are hoping to meet up with but he sends it to Jazz instead which leads to her thinking about what this would be like. The story continues with Jazz being attracted to each of the men individually and then things progress further. This is a really good read and how they all worked it out together with a little help. Loved it!!.

Jazz is having a housewarming party and her best friend Cat is helping her. Jazz is 27 and proud of herself that she now has her own home. Aiden and Bash live next door. They stop in at the housewarming party to meet the new neighbor. Their other roommate, Dante, is out of town.

I loved that Jazz and Aiden and Bash were attracted to each other but did not want to ruin their budding friendship as next door neighbors. I wondered if things would change when Dante came home. I knew they would eventually cross the line. I was worried that emotions would mess up their plan to keep things casual between them. Cute story.

Cassie Cole has done it again. I love her RH books, and this one is no exception. The sexy guys next door. The misinterpreted text message (hilarious, by the way). The nicknames for the other neighbors on their block. I loved it all.

There were so many touching moments and so many funny moments, you will adore every minute of them. Then there are the steamy moments. Hot, very hot!

The characters are so individual and the way they are written, you get to know them all personally. I could see why Jazz would fall for all 3 individually and as a group. You gotta love the way they fit together.

Totally enjoyed reading this reverse harem story by Cassie Cole. The characters were wonderfully depicted, the storyline was engaging, and the romance sizzled. Never been disappointed by reading her stories. This story is about Jazz is a manager at Top Golf who just bought a home next door to three hunky men: Dante, Bash and Aiden. The men travel a lot working at a grocery chain company. Dante and Bash work in the acquisition team and Aiden works in the transition team. They form a close friendship that involves into much more in this enjoyable story that I'd received a copy and volunteer to read and review.

I really enjoyed this story about Jazz who had moved Next Door to Aiden, Bash and Dante. They started office friends and then before they knew it, she was hooking up with Aiden, then Bash and finally Dante. It was a really sweet story, and I loved the interaction between all of the characters and how they became friends before they explored their sexuality. It all ends with a happily ever after when Jazz’s best friend Cat marries, Aidans sister Amy and the three guys hint to Jazz that they will have their own comm ceremony.

Jazz buys a house next door to Bash, Aiden and Dante. The first half of the book we don't get to know Dante because is is traveling but Jazz becomes friends iwth Aiden and Bash and things get steamy between them. When Dante returns, he adds a bit of angst that was missing. As with all of this authors RH books, there is actually a relationship that is built between the characters and is about more than the steam. Although there is plenty of steam to keep the reader happy. Another great RH romance by Ms. Cole.

But They Can’t Become More… Right?

Jazz is excited to own her own home in a great neighbourhood. And when she meets the men living next door (Aiden and Bash [and later Dante]), she acknowledges their hotness, but she can’t pursue something with one of them, that would make being neighbours awkward, right? This story was a phenomenal read - fun and flirty, with hilarious stories woven together into the bigger storyline. I know it’s fiction (especially since, at 26, Jazz buys her own house - who can do that today?!) but it’s still a fantastic read. Loved it, just like everything else I’ve read by Cassie Cole.

That’s the best word to describe this book! Fun! Even with all the emotional ups and downs, this why choose was fun! Hot is an absolute given, like kindle smokin’ hot, but the dynamic between them all, even stoic Dante was fun. I really liked the individual personalities. Nash who always made her laugh, Aiden, who, while competitive with word games, was the calm in the storm, and the broodiness of Dante. They all pulled her out of her shell and made her complete.
Loved the pickleball action and the interaction with the D-list neighbors!.

Jazz (FMC) has moved into a new neighbourhood right next door to a house full of hot men - Aiden, Bash & Dante. A friendship with Aiden & Bash leads to a building up of a mutual attraction between them. Which complicated things because Aiden, Bash & their other housemate Dante who all have their minds set on a polyamorous relationship. Mainly because of their work schedules. It made for a bit of problematic dynamic for Jazz who is stuck in the middle of it all. It did make for a very steamy read through. I loved it and all the characters in it including the interesting mix of nextdoor neighbours too.

New neighbors....

Neighbors With Benefits is a sizzling RH romance that grabs you from the beginning and has you wanting to move to the same neighborhood as Jazz. She is the manager of Top Golf and has purchased her own home. The house next door is occupied by three sexy men, Aiden, Sebastian "Bash", and Dante. What starts as some flirtations quickly develops into a RH relationship between them all.
This is another hot, at time funny, and OTT steamy romance....a perfect read to get lost in.

Jazz has moved into her new house. She noticed that there are three males living in the same house. They are nice neighbors. Interested in them as individuals but that's as far as it goes. By chance one of them sends her a note that was meant for someone else. So thoughts start to happen that progress into something bigger than what they planned. Things seem to happen better than threes, well, technically four. Good read.

Cassie Cole's Neighbors With Benefits delivers scorching romance, laugh-out-loud banter, and just the right amount of emotional chaos. Jazz moves in next to Aiden, Sebastian, and Dante, three insanely attractive men who believe in sharing.

It's all fun and games, literally, with some sweaty Pickleball matches until feelings start creeping in, and Dante's possessive side makes things very interesting. If you love reverse harem romance with spice, drama, and addictive tension, this one's a must-read.

I loved this so much. Cassie is a genius when it comes to reverse harem.

Aiden, Bash and Dante are *chef’s kiss*. Utter perfection!

I even liked Jazz (and I rarely like FMC’s). I even loved Kat! She was a riot.

Delicious spice, great story and great supporting characters.

The HEA was perfect and the Epilogue was gorgeous!!.

Love it!

She just keeps getting better and better. I am a huge fan of this one. I appreciate how each relationship grows separately from the others. It gives you the opportunity to get to know each character individually! Great characters that are fully fleshed out. I loved it. Always get the bonus scene... I am a sucker for a good epilogue and they offer that perfectly! I mean knowing there is a HEA and getting a sneak preview of it are two different things!

I really liked this story it was sweet, sassy, steamy, funny & I didn't want it to end.
The connection with Aiden & Bash was instant from the moment they met at Jazz's home warming party but not so much with her first encounter with Dante.
I loved the guys description of the neighbours & the pickle ball outfits.

This was a cute RH. I love how they all became friends first! It was great how they were funny, broody, sarcastic, and best of all love each other the way they need to be loved! I loved the mfc and her best friend! I loved how the author explored the dynamics and fears of being in a RH relationship!

Kinks/Tropes: neighbors, MFMM, group scenes, anal, DP

Thoughts:

This book was good, the tension and set up in the beginning was amazing. Though it felt character development ended the second the FMC got with each MMC. Regardless, the buildup was exactly what I was looking for!
