i really enjoyed this!!! i have been wanting to read more poetry and this was a great place to start for me - i never knew there was so much literature on the supernatural, but i felt i shouldn’t be so surprised. it has frightened and intrigued humans always!!

the little snippets were a great way to nab your attention and i think the author picked great examples :)

really good anthology!! i do wish the author would've added "the black vampyre" by uriah derick d'arcy and that the order of the extracts / poems would've been different for the vampire section, but all the selections were beautiful in my opinion and it helped me discover some poets i will definitely be looking into
