This book was way better than Duty. This was like the other Joanne, Michael and Raphael stories, only with their daughter. You also see how Olivia is growing up and becoming her own woman but has some trouble much like her mother did with addictive problems. I have read all of the Winged series a Barry was an opportunitist and was playing for the other side. Now, his character has developed as well and he presents as less mystery and more calculated with an open heart. It was a fantabulous story with just the right amount of love, sex and violence. I can't wait for the next book because their has to be another book.
