Lady Kersey is a prime suspect in the murder of her husband. Her brother, Viscount Robert Markson and his very new wife, Kristina, are sure she is innocent and set out to prove it. This was a good read. Full of mystery, hidden papers, whiskey, sherry, lots of good food, and of course marital kissy kiss. I had to chuckle at the interruptions these two newly weds had at every turn. But, after all, they were out to solve a murder. A turn of events at the end surprised me. I'm glad that I found this author. Mr. Downs is a treat to read.
