I always hate writing these things. I'm not some exciting individual that lives an adventurous life, writing while driving cross country in her tour bus. I live in Central Florida with my family and dog. I love snow, yet I live in the world of sun, go figure? My favorite things to do are curl up with a good book or write a good book (well hopefully). I am also a music junky. I love live music and often dream of running away with the band. Other than that, I am just your normal chick that is lucky enough to get to do what she loves for a living, and hope it pays the bills.

This book and and the 2nd book in this series was provided to me by the author for a honest review.

I found myself pulled into this almost from the first page. Loved it loved the build and mystery surrounding Sadie. This is truly a unique world that I cannot wait to learn more about. Vampires, dragons and more oh my! They are called magicals. Love it! Very glad I get to start the 2nd one cause this one ended with many mysteries and questions still needing lots of answering.

Sadie is an everyday girl who lives in downtown Sacramento with her best friend Wendy. But she soon is pulled into a magical lifestyle after the bookstore she works for is suddenly bought out by these strange men who give her bad vibe, she starts dreaming of the gorgeous man named Sebastian who appears in real life. Who mind blown. But it gets weirder. She is the long lost princess Kali of the oubliette village and was promised to a horrible man named Lars Dracco, who isn’t her soul mate, but Sebastian is. Wait, what just happened? One day she was a normal girl who was adopted the next she’s a princess. That can’t be right. So she goes to the only people she knows who would not lie to her, her adopted parents. What she finds out blows her mind and makes her realize maybe she isn’t who she thought she was, and maybe she just put all of her friends in danger. Will Sadie survive to find the truth? Who is she really meant to be with? What happens to her and her friends? Read it!
I absolutely love this book and look forward to the rest of the series! I have to say Sadie, Wendy, Sebastian, oh who am I kidding I love all the good guys in the book. Great protagonist with Lars and Nikoli. I have to say I enjoyed wondering what was going to happen next and enjoyed guessing! My favorite scene was the first time Sadie actually got to talk to Sebastian in her dream. Great description and well wrote!
Highly recommend this book to fantasy/ paranormal readers. Magical creatures and Vamps readers will love getting caught in Sadie’s life.
I received this book for an honest review from Paranormal Romance and authors that rock and S.A. Smith.

Dreamer, book 1 of the Forever series, starts with Sadie having a hard time in life and feeling a little lost. She becomes even more confused and lost when the truth about who and, more importantly, what she is comes to light. This is a novella length novel and ends on a “sort of” cliffhanger.

This book started off slow for me, and I can’t quite put my finger on why. Something I cannot stand is a book having a weak, naïve, main character that needs to depend on other people for her safety. I am also not a big fan of the insta-love theme that seems to be popping up more and more lately.

With that being said, the plot was very interesting. We do hear common words in the book like vampire, fairies, elves, but there is so much more than that. Towards the end, I was really getting sucked into who Sadie really is and the choices she will eventually have to make. Despite my dislike of insta-love, I did find myself drawn to Sebastian. I could definitely see why Sadie was attracted to him. Then again, it does seem too good to be true.

I am looking forward to the next book and following Sadie through her royal journey. This was a very promising beginning to what could be a fantastic series. 3.5 fangs for the catchy plot.

I received this book from the author and from Paranormal Romance and Authors That Rock.
Dreamer is the first book in the Forever series.
Sadie is a normal everyday girl. She was adopted never knowing her real parents but was blessed with wonderful adoptive parents. She starts to have these odd dreams with a mysterious and handsome stranger. One day, her dreams become reality as the stranger appears to her in flesh in blood. Sadie begins to learn that everything she knew was a lie and that she isn't who she thinks she is. The sexy stranger claims to be her soulmate but can she accept that? Can she accept who and what she is in the world around her now that her eyes have been opened?
This was a fairy tale story. A short and easy read. Sadie had her own personality and it showed through the pages. She was fun and strong but at times childish and naive. Sebastian was a mysterious sexy stranger. There is much about him that remains a mystery.
Everything flowed smoothly in the book and most of the time too smoothly. Some of the things happened too quickly to be believable for me. I was disappointed in the action and wished to be more pulled into the world. The concept was interesting and I wish to know more about the Magicals. I was hoping for more action but the book fell short. There were also some grammar things like the capitalization of words that distracted me from the story. When a character is yelling that's okay but it's better to just leave ! at the end of the dialogue and show how the character feeling rather than caps the word and pull the reader out of the story, but that's just my opinion.
I recommend this book for fans of paranormal romance who enjoy a fairy tale like story. This was more of a young adult novel to me than an adult.
I would rate this book 3/3.5 fangs with the hopes that the series gets better.

Loved this book its a short one but I really enjoyed reading all today. Sebastian and Sadie are very likeable characters and very unique powers. Sadie can sense what people are thinking and what they are going to say before they even say it. Sadie is an adoptive daughter she was left in the train when her parents found her and adopted her and she has been with them ever since. When Sadie meets Sebastian in her dreams and starts falling in love with him she thought she was going crazy but wanted to keep sleeping in order to see him again and feel his lips on her. Until one day he shows up in the mall for a couple of minutes and she could not believe what her eyes were seeing.

However after finding out who this man was and what she was she could not be with out him. Sebastian was a vampire and her soul mate. But she had a very important decision to make will she become his soul mate but if she does she has to turn into one of him. And that's where the book ends. ITs a short book to be honest but I could not put it down, I pretty much read it in a couple of hours. I do hope the second book is longer. I did give it a four because the way she made the characters were fascinating I really liked how she went way different from the way this girl meets this vampire soul mate and how his powers are very different and he is not cold and pale or sparkle in the daylight. To me different is very refreshing and captivating to I don't know what to expect next. I will be reading the whole series and find out if this Sadie girl will turn into a vampire and embrace her new princess life.

I was given a copy of "Dreamer" book 1 in the Forever series for a fair review by the author.
Sadie was enjoying a normal life when in a matter of days she learns that things are not as they seem and her life will never be the same. She finds herself immersed and involved with magical beings and in the arms of her mysterious soulmate, Sebastian...
It was a quick, easy read that I did enjoy however I feel it would be more appealing to younger readers. At times, I felt that the book was a bit too descriptive which made it seem more suitable for a younger audience.
I find myself wanting to read the next book in this series to see what decisions Sadie makes and how she will forever handle the changes in her life.
