Mitternacht. Stille im Haus. Josefine blättert in einem Buch. Plötzlich hört sie es: grrff. Und gleich noch einmal: grrrfff grrrff. Eigentlich kennt Josefine die Geräusche ihrer Nachbarn sehr gut. Aber dieses hat sie noch nie gehört. Woher mag es kommen?

this is the first novel that i've been able to read in german :) it's not long & it's written for deutsch learners, so i haven't actually reached the level of being able to read high literature auf deutsch; but this is an interesting story, with good characters and a lot of interesting information presented naturally along with the story. there are footnotes to explain some less common words or phrases, although i found that half of what was explained i already understood, and for the other half, i couldn't understand the explanation either ... i don't like to read with a dictionary as it's too much of an interruption to be looking up words all the time - rather i try to work out the meaning from the context or take an educated guess. in this book i found that even when i was leaving out words that i didn't understand, i could still easily not only follow but enjoy the story. i really recommend it for anyone who is trying to learn german.

Dieses Buch hat mir nicht gefallen. Ich glaubte, dass es sehr langsam und langweilig war. Und es war ein bisschen zu schwer für mich. Die Schwierigkeitsniveau war gerade über mein, und ich musste zu viele Worten haben gegoogelt. Ich empfehle nicht zu Freunde, Familie, oder Feinde die Geschichte.

Und... ich bin fertig! Ich will die Rezension im Deutsch schreiben, so tut mir leid, weil mein Deutsch nicht so gut ist. Ich glaube eigentlich, dass das Buch sehr interessant ist. Es gibt viele Information über Deutschland und besonders über die Teilung von Deutschland nach dem Zweite Weltkrieg. Ich finde alle Charakters sehr nett und ihre Geschichten sind unterschiedlich und unvergleichlich. Ich hoffe darauf, dass ich diese Rezension gut geschrieben hat.

Meiene erste Buch auf Deutsch! No estoy segura de haber entendido todo, me mande a leerlo sin diccionario alguno pero estoy contenta con lo que llegue a comprender. Excelente lectura si cursas un B1 de alemán. Viene con un CD de audio libro muy útil pero lamentablemente no tiene todos los capitulos para ir escuchando a medida que lees.

Mit diesem Buch kann man lernen, wie sollt man freundlich mit der Nachbarn zu sein. Nach drei Jahre im Berlin, finde ich traurig, dass ich kannte fast niemand in meine Eigentumswohnung. Das nächste Mal sollte ich meine Besessenheit benutzen, um mehr Leute kennenzulernen, oder nicht?

Gostei de conhecer pelos olhos de Josefine os vários moradores da Meyerbeer 26, em Berlin, bem como as razões dos muitos e diferentes barulhos que diariamente ela ouvia. Interessante é também a relação que se desenvolve entre ela e a Frau Zebunke, sobretudo após esta última lhe contar a sua história de vida. Uma história de vida que se confunde com a própria história da Alemanha e que toca também na questão da perseguição aos judeus. Interessante, de facto!

Berliner Geschichten, Fiction vermischt mit wahren Begebnissen und Orten, das gefällt mir.
Josefine ist Geräuschesammlerin, nachts, wenn Alles schläft und nur noch bei ihr das Licht brennt. Aber sie erzählt auch die Geschichte(n) ihrer Hausbewohner, bunt zusammengewürfelte Nachbarn. Am Ende stellt sich heraus, daß es kein Zufall ist, daß sich Alle hier in diesem Haus getroffen haben...
