This anthology consists of 12 short stories and is only $0.99, but not for long.

My review is for Unbreakable SEAL by J.M. Madden.

4.5 Stars!! Another realistic look at what so many returning soldiers face every day. There are other books and series about wounded warriors, but no one can match J.M. Madden's powerful writing when it comes to dealing with their struggles and despair. She has created her own category in the romance genre!

This review is for SEAL’S PROMISE by New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Sharon Hamilton —Navy SEAL T.J. Talbot, SEAL Team 3's bad boy, makes a deathbed promise to protect and care for his fallen buddy's wife and child. The only problem is, she hates him.

Be prepared to not want to put this wonderful story down. Even being a novella the depth that was in this story astounded me. I so love the members of a Seal team 3 and their families. This story grabbed me in for an amazing journey for two lost lonely souls. The way Sharon tells this journey amazed me. Be prepared to need tissues but then smiles watching them heal and grow

"May you touch dragonflies and stars,
Dance with Fairies and talk to the moon.
May you grow up with love and gracious hearts,
And people who care.
Welcome to the world, little one.
It’s been waiting for you. We’ve been waiting for you."

This review is for UNBREAKABLE SEAL by USA Today bestselling author J.M. Madden -- Maxwell Tate fights against a psychotic dream world, until he no longer knows what's real. Lacey Adams knows she can't save all of her cases, but can she salvage the unbreakable SEAL?

If you have read The Lost & Found series you will love this book. If you haven't read this awesome series this story will make you want to. The way Lacey helps Max is inspiring, how she gets him to realize he needs help. Nurses have one of the roughest jobs in the medical profession. This story helps highlight how much we can't forget our Vets when they came home. Just prescribing pills is not the way to fix their problems. I love that Lacey finally got her our military well ex military guy to love and support. Hope to see more of them in future L&F books

This review is for NIGHT WITH A SEAL (Hot SEALS #1) by New York Times & USA Today bestselling author Cat Johnson --When navigating military red tape begins to present more challenges than the enemy, it makes SEAL Jon Rudnick question his future. So does Alison Cressly, the one woman he can't get out of his head.

I forget how much I love Cat's books till I read another one. This series is amazing I was hooked from page one. It's amazing in such a short story that I can get so involved with these awesome characters. Jon & Ali are such an awesome couple. Can't wait to read more of this awesome series. Loved how the new company name was tied to Jon's tattoo. PS would love to see it

HOT BAYOU SEAL by Award-winning author Cindy Dees — SEAL Ford Alambeaux is a busted up SEAL on his way out of the teams. Trina Zarkos is being tossed out of SEAL training like every other female candidate…until they’re thrown together on a way off-book mission to see if she can play with the big boys or not.

Wow that was just amazing. I actually loved the idea of women Seals. I know not many women could or would want to be one but there are some out there. I loved this book it had a wonderful story in addition to great sex in it. Hadn't really read much by this author and now I'm wondering why.

THE KISS OF A SEAL by Award-winning Author Anne Elizabeth — decent read interesting storyline first book I've read by this author

WATCH OVER ME (An Uncharted SEAL story) by New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Delilah Devlin — Deke Warrick’s unsanctioned detail is to keep tabs on a congressman’s niece while she vacations in the Caribbean. He’s determined to keep his distance, from the beautiful Nicky Martir—until she’s snatched from their hotel room.

Wow first book I've read by this author and I must say I really enjoyed it. Just the right blend of elements to make it a really good story. Glad I was introduced to her writing in this book

SEAL'S OBSESSION (A Take No Prisoners story) by New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Elle James — Mission: Halt pirate activities off the coast of Honduras. SEAL TEAM 10's Jack Fischer goes undercover as a deck hand on a medical boat where he finds himself falling for the dedicated Dr. Natalie Rhoades.

MISTER BLACK A Billionaire SEAL Story, Part 1 (In the Shadows) by Award-winning author P.T. Michelle — He is Black: a deadly enforcer and masterful seducer. I am Red: a justice bleeder and willing participant. When our secrets converge in a passionate encounter, stepping out of the shadows just might be worth the risk.

I've never read any of PT Michelle's and boy did I love this one. I was hooked from the first page to the last. Can't wait to read the next part of this story.

STONE HARD SEAL by Award-winning author Sabrina York — When Ryder “Stone” Maddox’s meets Lily Wilson—a senator’s daughter who is definitely off-limits—he’s determined to keep his distance, despite her irresistible allure. But Lily has plans of her own…to put his heart of stone to the test.

Oh wow I haven't read any of Sabrina's books before and this story just showed me what I've been missing.
This story will suck you in and not let you go till your are finished.

BREAKING TIES (a SEAL Team Heartbreakers story) by bestselling author Teresa Reasor — Navy SEAL Oliver Shaker is blindsided when he learns that not only does his wife, Selena, have a life-threatening illness, but she’s also pregnant, stretching their marriage to the breaking point.

Another author I forget how much I enjoy till I read one of her stories. Be sure and have tissues and be ready to cheer this couple on as they wage a very tough battle.

The Kiss of a SEAL by Anne Elizabeth

3 stars

Hotness Rating 3 out of 5

In The Kiss Of A SEAL by Anne Elizabeth we get to meet a different kind of SEAL. Our hero is strong, dominant, and well-respected amongst the men he trusts his life with. These are all things I associate with a SEAL, but Lincoln "Linc" Tyler is also a hopeless romantic and when most men are doing everything they can to avoid commitment Linc is fighting with everything he has to convince Jessa they deserve they're forever after.

Jessa Grainger isn't a soldier, but she works with them every day. She doesn't just work with any soldiers, either. She works with the elite. The best of the best. She is responsible for making sure a SEAL is physically fit and ready to face what's to come. She's never allowed herself to be anything more than professional with any of these men until she met Linc. He has her heart and he definitely commands her body, but she has things in her life that need to be addressed before she can commit fully.

I enjoyed reading about Linc and Jessa. It was very interesting to see the perspective of a civilian consultant in this elite world. And I especially love how Ms. Elizabeth didn't really go for the stereotype. Jessa was strong and in charge. Whereas, Linc was the one wanting more, ready to talk, and pushing the relationship on. I didn't necessarily feel the passion between this couple, though. I don't know what it was, but I just felt like it lacked heat and need.

Night With a SEAL by Cat Johnson

4 Stars

Hotness Rating 3 out of 5

Night With a SEAL is a great way to introduce us to the hot men of the upcoming Hot SEALS series by Cat Johnson. I thoroughly enjoyed Jon and Ali's story. But, the secondary characters have really captured my interest. This book gave us great insight into each team member's personality and situation. It's not often you get such good character development with the secondary characters, as well.

Jon Rudnick is a SEAL to his very soul. But, the red tape and politics are making him question how much longer he can keep doing it all. It seems pointless at times. Not to mention, the impact its always had on his dating life. He knows that some men make it work with a family and the job, but he's not that man. He has no interest in creating attachments just to walk out and leave a loved one with no idea when or if he's coming home. Weirdly, that part of the job hasn't been too much of an issue. He's never really met anyone that's made him want that forever after, anyways. But, one fantastic night with Ali has haunted him.

Alison Cressly allowed herself one unforgettable night with her best friend's brother's former SEAL teammate. It seemed like a good idea and they were upfront with expectations ahead of time, but a small part of Ali, the romantic part, had hoped for something more. After the deed was done, Jon left with the reminder that there would be no contact since he would be called back to service any minute. Now, he's back and she's thinking things could be real awkward. After all, they will be thrown together at parties and such and she hasn't been able to get him out of her mind.

I was a bit disappointed in Jon and how he handled things with Ali when he left. I know it's written that he couldn't stop thinking about her and that she is the one for him, but I still can't help but think if that were true then why couldn't he have sent even one email. That being said I did like Jon and loved how this story sets us up on how the Guardian Angel Protection Service was born and the why. I loved Ali and how she dealt with his hot and cold with so much class and dignity. I think I would have made him work for it a little more, but he really was a good guy he just sucked at dealing with his emotions.

MISTER BLACK A Billionaire SEAL Story, Part 1 (In the Shadows) by P.T. Michelle

4.5 Stars

Hotness Rating 4 out of 5

Mister Black, aka Sebastian Quinn is hot! I mean sizzling, panties melting hot! This story is a must read and I can't wait to read the rest of the In The Shadows series. The only reason I gave this story 4.5 stars instead of 5 is because it started out just a bit slow and confusing. I get this was important to build up the intrigue, but it put me off just a little bit. It quickly got past this awkward stage and slipped right into fabulous! You will not regret reading this story!

Talia is running from her past, but it continues to haunt her. One of the few good memories she actually has from being a child was when a kind older teen boy saved her. He's never left her mind, though and 8 years later he's her biggest fantasy. She was only 13 at the time and they never exchanged names, so she knows they'll never cross paths, again. At least, that's always been her assumption until she runs into a mysteriously sexy guy at a costume party.

Sebastian's the illegitimate son, but that doesn't stop him from being protective and loving to his sister. Home on leave Sebastian spends as much time as he can with his sister hoping to help her heal from the recent trauma she's gone through. The horrific event that she'll give no one any details about. So when Sebastian finds the intriguing "Scarlet" sneaking through his sister's home he needs to find out more. He quickly unearths the truth that she is there to try to get the story of the events from Mina for the college paper. A story that could launch her career as soon as she graduates.

The connection that Sebastian and Talia have is palpable from the very beginning. I could not get enough of these two characters. Seriously, it was almost torture to read knowing that it would be over soon. Normally, I don't like a story that leaves me hanging, but these characters sucked me in and now I'm hooked. Please, please, please Ms. Michelle write fast because I need (and I mean need) to know what happens next.

STONE HARD SEAL by Sabrina York

4.5 stars

Hotness Rating 3 out of 5

I loved, loved, loved this story. It's short enough to read over just a couple of hours, but packed with so much witty banter, heartfelt emotion, and sexy SEAL that you never feel rushed or cheated. Seriously, these characters are so well-developed you feel like you actually know them. Like they are old friends. I honestly have no idea how Ms. York pulls this off in a novella, but she does. Even more exciting it ushers in a new Alpha SEALS series. I can't wait!

Ryder "Stone" Maddox is one of my favorite heroes. Faced with the unbearably difficult task of leading his platoon in a rescue mission for some pretty high profile people who were abducted by Somalian pirates is just another day at the office, but fighting this attraction and need he feels for his target just may do him in.

Lily Wilson has lived a very sheltered life. As the daughter of a senator she may have well just been wrapped in wool and packed away she's been so protected. That's why a mission trip to Ethiopia seemed like a grand adventure and she jumped at the chance. Just her luck, the first time she's ever done anything without her parents blessing she gets abducted by Pirates. She's optimistic all will be okay in the end and is doubly reassured when her guardian angel, in the form of Navy SEAL Stone Maddox, comes to her rescue. Stone does more than rescue her, however. He shows her that she can feel passion and a sizzling attraction. Now, she just had to convince him to act on it.

There are few authors that can write such funny, laugh out loud stories and never lose the heat and desire. I checked my kindle for smoke or burn marks after finishing this book. Lily and Stone's attraction was that palpable. Stone often spoke in sarcasm and I love that in my men. Even better Lily gave as good as she got. She was naive and protected, but tough, smart (even if a bit airheaded at times), and a fighter. This couple was made for each other.

She paled, "I c-cant swim".

"You never wanted to learn?"

"Oh, I wanted to" she sighed. "My mother wouldn't let me. She was afraid I would drown."

"Not drowning is kind of the point of swimming."

See? Sarcasm at its best! I do so love Sabrina York and her smart, yet funny dialogue.

I can not wait to read more from this team of hot, sexy, alpha males.

J.M. Madden has another hit on her hands. Max, a Navy Seal has a severe case of mismanaged prescription drugs. He takes pills that counteract with each other, causing hallucinations. Lacey, a nurse who has worked in a military setting, is his neighbor. She takes care of him during a psychotic break. It takes months and treatments, but they get their happy ending.

I am still reading the rest of the set, more reviews to come.

Stone Hard Seal by Sabrina York
Stars 5 Flames 3

I’m normally not someone who will rush out to grab the next ‘military hero’ romance, but the collection that contains this story looked too good to miss. Time constraints meant that I only had time (against my usual habit) to read one of the stories, and since I am already a fan of Sabrina York’s writing, choosing her story first was a no-brainer.

A mission to save hostages from Somali pirates off the western coast of Africa is the set up for the mission. Teams were dropped onto the island under cover of a moonless night, Ryder (Stone) Maddox and his team are instantly in the thick of a rescue. This isn’t an ordinary rescue, among the party is Lily Wilson, a powerful senator’s daughter and Susan Brandywine, the daughter of the team’s commanding officer. Ideal targets for ransom, were these pirates of the ‘normal’ Somali pirate variety. But, they are a renegade band: untrained, undisciplined and utterly despicable.

Stone happens upon Lily in one of the huts, and the team is set to spirit the captives away. Instantly attracted to the petite young woman, Stone is struggling between his attraction and the memory of his own father’s death as a SEAL and his mother’s dissolution into depression and a half-life. He knows that his chosen life is not one for a relationship, and Lily is most certainly a relationship girl. Not a night, or a weekend, or even a week – but a full-on relationship, and he is unwilling to risk his heart or subject another to the dangers that his missions entail.

I adored Stone, with his alpha protectiveness and determination to get Lily to safety, even as he worried about and for his team. His history after his own father’s death on a mission was tragic and completely explained his reluctance to get involved. Even more amusing was Lily’s refusal to spend time with him without asking questions, pushing and prodding for answers with a determined jut of her chin.

Lily was far less the coddled complaining princess than I expected, although she had been rolled in cotton wool from her birth, and not experienced much difficulty, she was determined and complaint-free through a grueling ordeal. It didn’t hurt that she was funny and stubborn, and unwilling to let Stone get away with half-answers or silence. Together the two were super steamy and incredibly sexy: their attraction was palpable and the inclusion of both Stone and Lily giving voice to their innermost feelings as they finally connected gave readers a reason to cheer them on for a happy ever after. But, Stone’s own reluctance to commit will run against the pint-sized brick wall of will that is Lily, and only reading to the end will tell you who wins.

And, filled with her lighthearted moments in the middle of all the action, York again brings a lightness and joy to her characters that define them, often better than words. “She smacked him. It was like being batted by a kitten.”

An action-packed and fun read, a great addition to any collection.

I purchased an eBook copy of the titles for my own library. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

First book I read was Cat Johnson's Night With a SEAL. I really enjoyed Jon and his dedication to being a SEAL. Ali is a great sweet girl who knows she's had a hard time with normal relationships, she couldn't imagine one with someone with secrets and being gone all the time. After having a one night stand he is deployed again. I don't want to give too much away but there are times in your life where you know when something isn't working and you want something different. Ali still just wants Jon. I love their interactions and how the book ends. I look forward to more of her series. ☆☆☆☆☆
Next book:The Kiss of a SEAL by Anne Elizabeth. This book deals with a physical trainer, Jessa, who is a civilian that works on base. Lincoln or Link is a SEAL training to move higher up. They have been hooking up for a month, when she gets a call from her fiance, to her it is a friend and they haven't slept together in years! But he has other ideas when she tries to break it off. She takes the night to realize that she has made the right choice. Once at work there is quite the surprise. I really liked Link as the hero, he said all the right things and was there for Jessa. The story was short, i just didn't feel connected to the story or the characters as much as I would have hoped for.☆☆☆1/2
Next book: Stone Hard SEAL by Sabrina York. Whew if there is one thing Sabrina is great at, it's getting that connection between people and making it hot! I loved the story and how things happened. It was very exciting and kept you wanting to read more. Then with the spark with Stone and Lily, oh my, very great together and loved the end! I can't wait to read the next book which will have some of the people from this one. Amazing story and heat! ☆☆☆☆☆
Next book: Mister Black by P.T. Michelle. Wow what an incredible story.... so far. This is book one and I need/want book 2 now! The story line is awesome, the house scene was so hot! I loved this book! This was a new Author for me and I will be looking into more of her books! A must read! ☆☆☆☆☆

Lost & Found Story by J.M. Madden:
UNBREAKABLE SEAL Maxwell Tate fights against a psychotic dream world, his sense of reality warped until he no longer knows what’s real and what’s not. Lacey Adams knows she can’t save all of her cases, but Max appeals to her more than any other. Can she salvage the Unbreakable SEAL?
cover art

This was one of my favorites of the series! Max suffers not only from PTSD, but also the meds he's been prescribed that are supposed to help him. Luckily, Lacey has experience with PTSD sufferers and notices Max displaying signs of severe distress. Thankfully, they are both able to let someone in, open up, and find the love and support needed to heal.

This collection is out now and WOW! It is even better than the sampling below indicated. You really don't want to miss this one. Grab it now before the price goes up! It is so worth it! Actually, I think it would be worth it at a higher price. It is that good. Get that one click finger working and go for it. These are some HOT Alphas you really don't want to miss!

THE KISS OF A SEAL by Award-winning Author Anne Elizabeth — 3.5 out of 5 stars -If you are into the sweet, one and only love, happy ever after, than this one is for you. This is the couple that will give you a tooth ache, they are so sweet and loving. Sorry if I sound a bit like sour grapes, but well, who really finds such a perfect, loving guy like this? I have heard of the myth, but does it really exist?
The conflict of the story comes from an existing engagement and Jessa’s guilt about “cheating” and needing to break off the engagement. Of course the old flame turns out to be an asshole that she is better off without, but well, I kind of seen that one coming.
This was an okay story. I found it to be a bit clichéd, but for the most part it worked. It was short and sweet.

NIGHT WITH A SEAL by New York Times & USA Today bestselling author Cat Johnson — 4 out of 5 stars - Question: Why is a Navy Seal in land locked Afghanistan? Answer: SEa Air Land Teams can deploy anywhere needed. Am I the only one who needed an answer to that question? I wanted the answer so much, I looked it up. Now it works for me. I must say the entire story worked for me once this one little question was answered. Boy did it work!
This was a very well put together story. For a short piece, it was all there. Well developed characters that were likable. Even horn dog Zane was likable. A story that moved well in spite of covering a six month time frame in a short novella. The pacing was good. The action was exciting. Just enough action in Afghanistan to get a flavor of things without any triggers. I was worried about that. There were more triggers when they got home, but that seems easier for me to deal with somehow. (No one said I made sense all the time, if ever.)
I look forward to reading more of this newly formed company these guys put together

MISTER BLACK A Billionaire SEAL Story, Part 1 (In the Shadows) by Award-winning author P.T. Michelle — 3.5 out of 5 stars. I began to wonder if this should be part of a Hot Alpha SEALS collection. It isn’t until the last page that it is confirmed that Blackie/Mister Black/Sebastian Quinn is actually a SEAL. Oh there are hints, like this book is included in the collection, his cousin/best friend comes to a costume party in full dress whites and Mister Black admits that it isn’t really a costume but totally real, then there is an overheard phone call, but no real confirmation until the very end. We never see him in uniform, he never discusses it – says he is “in security.” However, he is HOT. Love the eyes. *sigh*
Now the heroine – Red/Scarlett/Talia - she is mostly up front with who she is or at least what she wants. She is pretty closed mouthed about what her real name is, but there was pretty good reason. She had a rough childhood, but has worked hard to get where she it.
This was a well written story with fascinating characters. I did see shades of “the book that will not be named” but they were only hints and didn’t overwhelm. Then there is the issue that the story is not finished. We weren’t left with a huge cliffhanger.(Whew *wiping brow* You would be hearing me yelling no matter where you live in relation to me.) But, we were left with some unresolved issues. Talk about dangling threads! Here there are dangling ropes large enough to hang someone. I will have to get the next chapter – Scarlett Red, blatantly mentioned at the end – to see what happens. There is also mention of a third. Grrrrrrr . . . I dislike serials because I am not into delayed gratification. But dang it! I got hooked!

STONE HARD SEAL by Award-winning author Sabrina York —5 out of 5 stars - I have not a read a story by Sabrina York that I did not like and I usually LOVED it. This one is no exception. I loved Stone Hard SEAL. She has hit another home run!
This is a lovely story about a girl - Lily - wanting to find her place in the world. She is an engaging, wide eyed, optimist who has been overprotected by her political family but wants adventure. I adored Lily. She is someone I want for a friend. Where those in the book found her optimism irritating, I loved it. Of course that may be because I tend to be optimistic myself so I could really identify with her. The way she jumped into her adventure with both feet . . . Oh to be that young again. I thoroughly enjoyed going on this adventure with Lily!
Let's not forget her hunk of a tour guide - Ryder "Stone" Maddox. *sigh* So hot! No wonder Lily fell for him. I love how she stood up to him and wouldn't let him be all stoic an self sacrificing. These career, special ops, kind of guys just get so caught up in the "mission" they have to be reminded why they are on the "missions" to begin with. Good job Lily! You lucky girl, you!
This was a very well done story that grabbed me and held me hostage. If you haven't read a Sabrina York story yet, and you have a weakness for hot Navy Seals, you really need to read this. You will very glad you did!

I was lucky enough to have received ARC's for these four titles; The Kiss Of A SEAL, Night With A SEAL, Mister Black and Stone Hard SEAL;but I pre-ordered this boxed set the end of June when it first came up for pre-order. Why? Because there are several authors in this collection that are on my must buy list and at this low introductory price, I would have bought it if I knew only one author. But, having read just these four, I cannot wait to read the rest. This is one HOT collection that you won't want to miss. Grab it quick before the price goes up.

Now that I have gotten the collection, It is even better than expected. The next story I read was so HOT! *sigh* I want my own SEAL.

HOT BAYOU SEAL by Award-winning author Cindy Dees - 4.5 stars out of 5.
Although this story does have a hot SEAL in it, I was more interested in the SEAL trainee. A female. *gasp* Of course it is all top secret. Females in the SEALs just can’t happen. Everyone knows a female can’t cut it. She just wouldn’t have the upper body strength. Well let me tell you, Trina Zarkos has made it her life mission to prove them wrong – if they will only give her the opportunity.
Ford Alambeaux is her appointed trainer. He feels he is on his way out because of a blown out knee. His goal is to rehab the knee so he can cut it back on the Teams and either train this female or break her.
However, the attraction between them could mess with their each of their goals. Can they train together, have a relationship, and meet their goals all at the same time?

DELTA: RETRIBUTION by USA Today bestselling author Cristin Harber - 4 stars out of 5. This was a difficult story for me to read. It hit a trigger or two. Not to the point that I am going crazy like the hero, Trace, in this story, but I have known too many guys in this position not to be affected. My brother for one and he wasn’t even special forces – just a supply truck driver. The ravages of war are truly hell and have long reaching issues that most don’t know about and/or don’t want to acknowledge.
Add in a heroine, Marlena, who has her own issues and insecurities that I can totally identify with, and well, this was not an easy read.
The author did a good job of story-telling. Her handling of survivor’s guilt very much resonated with me. It was encouraging how Trace was able to find his center and a certain sanity in finding love with Marlena, and how the insecure Marlena was able to find her confidence in loving Trace. This was a story of hope and future, and though I found it hard to read, I am glad I read it.

WATCH OVER ME (An Uncharted SEAL story) by New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Delilah Devlin - 3.5 stars out of 5. After the blurb for this story you see – “Warning: This story is an erotic romance—emphasis on the erotic!” Take this warning seriously. The emphasis of this story is most definitely erotic. Although there is some minor action, Nicky gets kidnapped and Deke rushes to the rescue, most of this story is all about the “erotic.”
Deke may be on an “unsanctioned mission” but, um . . . he stays very close to his target. Of course, said target Nicky, does encourage this closeness. These two just can’t seem to keep their hands off each other.
This was a very quick and fast read. I was a bit disappointed that this was all about the sex, and very little about SEALs in action. Well, not in the field anyway - Deke did have some nice moves going on. It did touch on the comradery found in the SEAL community, both with the Teams and the families who wait at home. I liked that aspect and that is what saved the book for me.

SEAL'S OBSESSION (A Take No Prisoners story) by New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Elle James — 3.5 stars out of 5. What do SEALs do on vacation? Okay, so they aren’t really on vacation, just trying to look like they are. But really, how believable can that be with six or so guys on a luxury yacht with no girls? Unless . . .
But, we know the guys are really all about the mission. Nothing is supposed to distract them from that. Like that ever really happens. Distraction always abounds in these books.
SEAL’s Obsession was no exception. Lovely Dr. Natalie Rhoades does a very good job of distracting SEAL Jack “Fish” Fischer. A very nice story in a pretty, sometimes, part of the world. The beach sounded amazing.
I was a little disappointed with the ending. The doctor and Fish agreed to see each other after the mission, but no logistics were ironed out. It was only a happy for now ending. The title indicates a series. *sigh* Guess I will have check into that to see if maybe logistics gets ironed out.

The SEAL (a Sex, Lies & Spies novella) by USA Today bestselling author Gennita Low — 2.5 stars out of 5. In every collection there seems to be one. Someone has to sneak in a serial. The series are bad enough, but at least they have some kind of ending. But a serial, it just stops. In this case, Angel goes to a meeting and Mari gets dressed to continue on her quest. It also appears that this is also a part of a much bigger series that I know nothing about.
Oh, it was well written. The characters were interesting. There was a fun adult party game that can only be found either at a club, or a rich man’s party, followed by some hot sex. Then, *shrugs* tune in for part 2? Sorry, I found it more frustrating than good.

UNBREAKABLE SEAL by USA Today bestselling author J.M. Madden — 4 stars out of 5. Of all the stories in this collection that I have read so far, this one got to me. A wounded warrior coming home with manger PTSD and trying to survive. This was a hard one for me. Hit some triggers. But, it was very well done.
Lacey is an amazingly compassionate RN who has “burnt out” from working at Walter Reed Hospital. She misses the warriors but for her own sanity, she had to back away. Max is a much wounded warrior. His physical wounds have been healed, but the emotional . . . Those are the hardest to find and heal and most doctors just really aren’t up to the task. Here we hit on a pet peeve of mine, let’s medicate it away.
This turned out to be a very heartwarming story of two people finding each other, at their worst, and helping each other to heal and begin again. I loved the ending.
I haven’t read any of the Lost and Found Series, but I liked this well enough that I think I will check it out, even if it hits some of my triggers. It also offered hope.

SEAL’S PROMISE by New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Sharon Hamilton — 3 Stars out of 5. To me this was obviously part of an ongoing series. (The SEAL Brotherhood Series) Although I was not completely lost, there were some places where I was a bit curious.
I had a few hard moments with this story because of the subject matter. Death. It hits too close to home for me and triggered some stuff. Not my idea of escaping and enjoying a read.
However, this was well written with compassion. I found the relation between T.J. and Shannon a bit rushed, but there were good explanations for it, so I could believe it.
Overall, a decent story, though it did leave me a bit depressed.

BREAKING TIES (a SEAL Team Heartbreakers story) by bestselling author Teresa Reasor — 2 stars out of 5. After just reading a story that left me a bit depressed, and then reading the blurb for this one, I find I cannot even read this. I am sure it is a good story, but not something I choose to read at this time, if ever. Just the blurb hit triggers for me and I prefer to avoid those whenever possible.
That being said, this is still an amazing collection of stories with something for everyone.

This is a review of three of the parts of this box set. The first is for the novella Stone Hard SEAL by Sabrina York. Based on this book alone, you'll be getting your money's worth and more!

Stone is a SEAL, a dedicated military man who is tasked to rescue Lily, a senator's daughter when her cruise ship is hijacked and she is captured by pirates. Stone wants to treat Lily like any other mission but something about her tempts him like no other woman has - is he willing to risk it all to let her into his life?

I enjoyed this novella very much! For its length I found the introduction to the characters and the setting to be well defined, bringing you quickly into the heart of the story. Both Stone and Lily's characters are very likeable - Stone is a take charge, dominant man whose reputation of being hard and unfeeling really just masks his inner feelings. He doesn't wear his heart on his sleeve but when faced with the right woman for him, is fully capable of tender and heartfelt emotion. Lily is a feisty young woman, normally fun and lighthearted and now thrust into the position of having to rely on her inner strength to get her through her ordeal. Together the sexual tension between them simmers and it's only a matter of time before they act on those feelings. The love scenes between them are steamy and well written. The action scenes are entertaining to read and move the plot along at a fast pace. The overall tone of the novella is one of a sexy romantic adventure and was truly delightful to read. I'm looking forward to more of the Alpha Seals stories by this author.

The second review is for The Kiss of A Seal by Anne Elizabeth. This is the story of Jessa and Tyler, a SEAL and trainer who are already together when this short novella begins. I liked both characters again. Tyler was dominant but with a real sweet side. Jessa was feisty and fun. The one aspect of the story I didn't care for was that Jessa was engaged to another man, albeit an engagement of convenience. I would have preferred that she had broken up with this man before becoming involved with Tyler. However that was the conflict part of the story and a necessary part of the plot. Overall it was short and sweet, although there were some editing issues in the version I read, which have hopefully been corrected in the final version. I would rate it at 3 stars.

The third review is for Night with a Seal by Cat Johnson. This is the story of Jon and Alison. Jon is a SEAL on active duty, used to not being involved with women as his missions would come up quickly and he wouldn't know how long they would last. Alison is the best friend of his former teammate's sister. Meeting up with Jon one night, they decide on a one night stand, no strings attached. Though they pull this off without a hitch, they are not far from each other's thoughts in the ensuing months and circumstances bring them together again.

I quite enjoyed this story as well. There was a good mix of steamy sex and action scenes. Jon and Alison's characters were well developed and interesting and the sexual chemistry between them was well written. I thought the action scenes were really well done, and the camaraderie between the SEAL brothers added some lighthearted moments to the darker scenes. I liked the fact that it wasn't a love at first sight story, that there was some work involved in getting them to realize that they could have a future together. 4 stars!

Note: I was supplied with Advanced Reader Copies of these stories for review.

I have had the pleasure of reading 4 of these books in this Megaset. The 4 that I have read are hot, steamy, romantic and SEALS...you can't go wrong by buying it!

The Kiss of a Seal by Anne Elizabeth
This is my first book from this author but I loved it! She drew me into the story right off. Anne knows how to lay the foundation to keep you gong until you've finished it! I started reading this story and could not put it down, it took me less than 4 hours to finish! I started off thinking how in the world could Jessa get so lucky as to have 2 hot, sexy military men. But she does have a hard decision to make: stay engaged to an old friend that she doesn't love (Scott) or go for the man that lights a fire in her and is in her very soul (Link)! Then as the story plays out I realize that their is only one man for Jessa, Link! Live every moment with Jessa as Ms. Anne takes you through this magical love!

Night With A Seal by Cat Johnson
This is a well written story that makes you not want to put it down. I loved seeing the heart that Jon had about being a Seal. It was so disheartening to hear about the 'red tape' that is probably exactly true in the real world. I loved seeing how Jon and his team have the same brotherhood and connection that I would have imagined. Jon is unlike some of his team in that he is struggling with relationships and being involved with someone. He is actually considered another's feelings and not wanting a one night stand. In comes Ali, a sweet lady with deep hopes of a HEA and not the type of girl for a one night stand. If you want to know if this love is meant to be between the two of them go and hurry and buy this Megaset!

Mister Black by PT Michelle
Five stars does not do this justice! Holy Crap, what an amazing read! Thus is my first story written by PT Michelle, I can see many more in my future to-be-read pile. This story is sensual, alluring, steamy and just plain HOT! I did not want to put it down until I got to the end. Sebastian is one hot, sensual man of steel, again who wouldn't love a Seal! Talia is a strong, courageous women in this story, I am still anxious to hear what the story is behind her little sisters death, there is a little mystery and intrigue in this story that will keep you coming back. I know Talia will get her justice in the end and I can not wait! You can't go wrong by getting this and I can't wait to get my hands on the next story!

Stone Hard Seal by Sabrina York
I absolutely love this author! She is amazing with any romance genre she writes! Stone is an amazing Seal and sets out to a job which he graciously completes. Stone is another example of a one of a kind Seal, with courage, strength and fire! Lily is determined to get out if her mess and lead a totally different life that what she has been, being the Senators daughter has meant being coddled her whole life by both parents. Lily is not really fond of Stone at first because he lacks in the socialization department but then she starts to recognize the electricity between them. There are some very hot, steamy scenes that make this book awesome and sultry! You won't go wrong by purchasing this Megaset as I did! Can't wait for the next books to read more about the stories and other characters!

ONE OF THE BEST ROMANTIC SUSPENSE/MILITARY ANTHOLOGIES RELEASED!

Anthologies are so popular right now and I admit to snapping them up but usually there is one story/author that grabs my attention and drives me to purchase. The other stories usually are just filler and not really the same quality as the "headlining" author. Hot Alpha SEALs is definitely not like that- there are several great authors (two of my favorites!!), I couldn't wait to dive in!

I'll update my review as I finish the stories.

NIGHT WITH A SEAL BY Cat Johnson- 4 STARS
I think this may be the first book by Cat Johnson I've read! One of the things I liked most was that the heroine owned up to her attraction to the hero, they agree to a no-strings one night stand (because he's leaving for deployment) and she didn't beat herself up about. She didn't feel like a fallen woman or a slut, just a woman that saw a man she desired and took advantage of the opportunity to be with him. I don't read enough heroine's like that in contemporary romance and I thought it was refreshing. Overall, I liked this story and think it's a great start to a promising series as several sexy military men were introduced. I'm already planning on reading the second book in the series, Saved by a Seal, when it releases in a couple weeks.

STONE HARD SEAL by Sabrina York- 3.5 STARS
I liked this story but didn't love it. The heroine was so naive in the beginning of the story, I almost had a hard time liking her. Also, the story was more cute than realistic. The writing was good. I would read more in the series but it wouldn't be at the very top of my TBR list. Still an enjoyable read.

DELTA: RETRIBUTION by Cristin Harber- 4.5 STARS
I'm going to try hard not to go all fangirl on Cristin Harber but honestly, this author just naills it every time. One of the best new authors of 2013. I love her Titan series and am so exicted to be introduced to the Delta hunks. I loved this novella from the beginning to the end, I only wish it was longer (although it was well paced throughout). Great chemistry, nice heat, great story. Loved these characters together. As in...seriously! I am dying for more of the Delta team!

UNBREAKABLE SEAL by J.M Madden- 4+ STARS
J.M Madden is an auto-buy author for me. I love her Lost and Found wounded warrior series and am so glad she was included in this anthology. I really enjoyed the story, I loved the caring and capable heroine and how she took care of the hero. I also liked how it wrapped up, connecting these characters back in with the rest of the crew. Overall, a very sweet story with a hero I was pulling for. Can't wait to see what's next in the series!

This is a collection of 5 star stories you won't want to miss.

Night With A Seal Review

This was one very HOT book. The situations that happen make you feel hope that things can work out for the characters. The things the Seals go through on Deployment are just plain reticules, they are putting their lives on the line and our government are expecting them to take more risk than is needed. This book is well written and keeps you interested the whole way through.

Kiss A Seal
This book looks at love the way it should be looked at. Love isn’t something you can make happen. It either does or it doesn’t. The characters start out the wrong way but everything is trial and error in life. This is very well written and has lots of hot sex and a good story.

Stone Hard Seal

Another of Sabrina’s spellbinding books. This is a very well written book that covers what so many military men, especially the Special Ops men have to go through, with a little romance and hot sex thrown in to make it better. I am looking forward to the next in this series.

Hot Bayou Seal

Another good one in this group of books. This covers the possibility of Lady Seals in a way that shows they would be a good thing. It is a powerful love story with lots of hot sex.

Delta: Retribution

This is a well-written story of a Seal who has lost something and needs to get himself back to being sure of himself. The hot sex and companionship of a girl who is unsure about her own self worth is what it takes to make both of them whole.

Watch Over Me

Loved this story. It was edgy and sexy and had a hot Seal, what more could you want.that

Seals Obsession

Great story with lots of tension, a hot Seal and romAnce. I so far would give every story I have read 5 Stars.

Seals Promise

This as in all of Sharon Hamilton's books is a wonderful story of love and dedication of Seals lives. It is hot and sexy as well.

The Seal

While too short, this was a funny, cute and HOT story.

Unbreakable Seal

This is a story that tells what our Military goes through trying to recover from the things that happen to them and the things they see while overseas. It is a story of love and caring.

Mr. Black: The Billionaire Seal

This is a cute story with a lot of problems to work out. While I might have liked it better if it was not continued it was still a Hot sexy story.

Breaking Ties

This is a hard story to read but shows the love and devotion of a seal in his marriage when there is problems to overcome.

Seal's Promise by Sharon Hamilton
This is one of the entries in the Hot Alpha SEALS Anthology and I was gifted with a free copy of it in exchange for an honest review of the story. This is a short read and like all of Sharon's SEAL books, it highlights the closeness of the men in the SEAL team and their devotion to each other and their families. This story started off with the loss of one of the brothers and goes on from there to show how his closest friend keeps the promise to watch over the wife and unborn child of his fallen brother. I found it to be a very moving story but told with a simpleness and humor that made it both emotional and fun to read. I think it brought home to me just how tenuous life can be and that those who choose to love and be a part of a SEAL's life also become a part of something larger. It moved quickly and seemed to happen if a short time span, but the way it was told and how the characters were explained, it was believable. Life is short and each day is precious and Ms. Hamilton is one of the best in bringing those life stories home in a realistic, in your face manner. I thought this was a well written, touching story well worth the time spent reading it. I look forward to her next installment to her SEAL team books. Pick this one up today and enjoy!!

This review is based only on the story by JM Madden

I read this one and boy, I feel like I was put through the wringer. Max was so messed up, I don't think he realized how bad he was. I was so glad that a chance encounter put Lacey into his path. You could tell by the hug that he gave her he needed a lifeline, I was glad that it was Lacey that managed to get through to him. I think by helping Max, Lacey was helping herself. It made her realize how much she missed working with Vets, even though she was getting burned out.

I was so happy that Max made the call for help and found a kindred spirit in Eric. I think by finding others that were like him, in that bad spot after serving, it gave him hope. I was very happy that Max kept reaching out to Lacey while he was away and sought her out when he got out. I think the choice that both made to start new in a new place was a great idea. I loved that that choice took them to LNF, even better was how one good turn deserved another.

I was gifted Seal's Promise By Sharon Hamilton for an honest review. This is part of the set. Oh my Gosh. This is a book that you will NOT want to put down. It keeps your interest from the very beginning. Best friends and Seal Team mates, nothing could be closer. Being asked to be your buddy's best man is one thing, but being in love with his future wife, that bites. Being forced to make a death bed promise, you can feel the emotions in this book it is purely awesome and I won't give away the rest but read it, just read it!!!!

Was given an ARC of SEAL's Promise for an honest review.
This was a great story as I knew it would be. Sharon writes about Seal team 3 and I have loved each and everyone of these books so far. T.J. makes a promise to his best friend that he will take care of Shannon and her unborn child. T.J. doesn't know how to keep that promise to Frankie considering Shannon actually hates the bad boy womanizing TJ but he vowed to take care of his best friends wife and unborn daughter. When a Seal makes a promise, he will stop at nothing to keep that promise.
Thanks for another great read Sharon

I'm reviewing as I go along. The final rating will post when I've completed this megaset.

THE KISS OF A SEAL by Anne Elizabeth

The first story was a disappointment. I nearly DNF this story. The only saving grace here was the hero, Link. I honestly didn't understand what the huge deal was with ending her “on a whim” engagement to her friend, when there was obviously nothing between them – no love, no respect, no communication, no loyalty, no sex. What broke this story for me:

There was nothing positive about her character or the situation she found herself in. She was weak, and I truly didn't care if she got a HEA. I was very disappointed with the heroine's handling of the (near) sexual assault. The story was well-paced, but after the beach scene, it could have ended right there. This story had the most editing errors (so far) that I hope will get fixed before the book's release tomorrow.

Rating: 1/5

HOT BAYOU SEAL by Cindy Dees

I loved this story. Their crazy hot chemistry translated into scorching hot love scenes, but there was also a great deal of action where Trina's skills had time to shine. The pacing of the story and the description of the story's settings were great, as were their dialogues. I liked the open communication and that he treated her as an equal when he wasn't performing his task of trying to break her. The suspense portion was a thrill. This story made me want to look into more of this author's work.

"I'm a lot of things, Ford, but a little girl is not one of them. I'm all the woman you can handle and more. You've never met anyone like me."

"I guarantee you've never met a man like me. I'm going to warn you once, and once only. Don't play games with me. You will lose."

Delta: Retribution by Cristin Harber

I enjoyed this story more than I thought it would. It had sweetness, suspense and sizzling sex. Marlena and Trace made an interesting couple. They both had issues and often referred to themselves as crazy or f'ed up. Where Marlena suffered from low self-esteem issues, despite being a genius in her field, Trace had confidence and attitude in spades. But the death of his twin pushed him to the brink of sanity with his grief and lust for revenge.

The danger and the pacing of the story made them move through their issues rather quickly, but it was still believable. At first I was a bit hesitant to like Marlena (since she was 21), but she grew on me as she gained more confidence in herself. Trace was protective and supportive without being overbearing. He was open to letting love in and recognizing how much she enriched his life. The scene of their first ILY was adorable! I look forward to continuing this series.

Rating: 4/5

Watch Over me by Delilah Devlin

Another fantastic story in this collection. Nicky was sexy, playful, confident with a hint of underlying vulnerability, but she always pulled herself together and made her feelings known, which I found refreshing. The relationship with Deke moved very quickly, but it suited their characters. The heroine, pampered as she was, was actually able to save herself out of a sticky situation. That really impressed me. The love scenes were hot, and I loved how they actually communicated instead of letting the sex do all the talking.

Rating: 5/5

SEAL'S Obsession by Elle James

This one was sexy and so touching. Finally a heroine in her early thirties. After nearly five years, Natalie was still mourning the loss of her husband and infant daughter in a tragic accident. I loved her strength of character in pouring all her energy into helping the less fortunate. I loved the instant chemistry she shared with Jack. Jack had a carefree personality, he was cheeky and sweet, but a fierce warrior underneath. There was a good blend of action and romance that made this a well-rounded story. I'll definitely be checking out more by this author.

Rating: 4.5/5

Mister Black - A Billionaire SEAL Story, Part 1 by P.T. Michelle

Well then. I see what all the fuss is about. I don't like young, virginal heroines because they're often portrayed in a very immature, childish way, and their dialogues just make them worse. The exact opposite was the case here. The way she spoke, the way she carried herself; she wasn't a timid, flaky female, and I loved that about her. Yes, she had baggage, but her character didn't use it at every opportunity to shy away from everyone. She kept a mysteriousness about her without coming off as pathetic. And wow, Sebastian. He made a big, good first impression in the foreword. For a then seventeen year old, he seemed mature beyond his years. If he was cute then, he was devastating as an adult – all raw passion, intense and mysterious. It took a while for the SEAL part to come to the fore, and I'm quite pleased that there was a little more emphasis on the fact he was military instead of some pampered billionaire who thinks money can buy everything and everyone. There were times I thought he recognized Talia, and then he'd say or do something that said he didn't. That push and pull is just a part of the magic between this pairing. Throw in a bit of BDSM-lite and the sex fizzled my Kindle. I'm not going to lie, I'm a bit peeved that this story ended, unlike the others, without a HEA. This is part of a serial, and now the wait begins. This was a very well-written, beautiful story, and I can't wait to read the sequel.

SEALs Obsession by Elle James

I received a free copy of this book for an in return for an honest and impartial review.
Elle James has a number of series out there and a favourite of mine is the Take No Prisoner Series. SEALS Obsession is the fourth book in the series and also appears in the Hot Alpha SEALs: Military Romance Megaset. While some of the characters from previous installments pop up and references are made to them, they can all be read as standalone. I wouldn’t recommend that however, being the type of person who prefers to read a series from the beginning starting with the first book, but hey, that’s just me!

In this installment we get to go to Honduras where SEAL Team 10 has been sent to try to find the leftist guerillas who have been taking hostages and ransoming them, using the funds for their guerilla activities. The latest hostages, who are still being held somewhere in the jungles of Honduras have some pretty high powered contacts and connections, hence the job/holiday for SEAL Team 10.

Using an expensive yacht and Jack Fisher, aka Fish, playing the role of a rich, bored and handsome young man, the hope is that they will attract the attention of the guerillas. It turns out that it isn’t the guys who attract the attention of the guerillas, it’s actually a medical team who are travelling on a medical boat helping to treat the locals in need.

Jack helps to thwart an attempt on the medical team. A minor injury sustained in helping to protect the medical team and ensure their safety gets Jack an in on the boat as security. Will the terrorists attack again? Where will the next attack be and when?

It becomes quite obvious that Jack is focused on doing his job, but he is also focused on the young and beautiful Dr. Natalie Rhoades the head of the medical team. Natalie has been through a lot in her life and she is doing her best to cope. Can she find her way past her grief to live again and what is Jacks role in this going to be?

I really enjoyed this story and was intrigued by the medical team, the work they were doing, the setting and the way that SEAL Team 10 was woven into the story. It all connected and made for an interesting read that had me sitting on the edge of my seat wondering when that next attack would happen and who the target would be. I sort of guessed who it would be, and also why but it was still surprising when it happened. Thankfully Jack thought ahead and I won’t spoil the surprise that enabled him to locate Natalie in the jungles of Honduras.

Jack is first and foremost a SEAL. He is also a kind and considerate person and he has an inner core of both strength, caring and honour that I found very intriguing. He genuinely cared for Natalie and only wanted the best for her and I loved his little mini lectures for the doctor on how to look after herself.

One thing that really did have me wondering was how Ms. James was going to resolve the further development of the relationship between the dedicated SEAL and the even more dedicated doctor, and make it into something more than just a few days of fun on the beach/boat. This is always the difficult part of the story and so many authors go the way of huge sacrifices being made, but what Ms. James did stayed true to the characters in the story, their jobs and who they were as people and this is also a testament to her writing skills.

I do have a little quibble and that was that this story, while hot, wasn’t nearly as hot and sexy as some of Ms. James other installments in the series. I have to admit that I like a certain level of heat in my books but I also have to say that it certainly didn’t detract from the story. In fact, when thinking about it afterwards, it made the connection between Jack and Natalie seem more real and believable.

This story wasn’t just about the developing relationship between Jack and Natalie, it had excitement, danger and a fair bit of action to make it that much more entertaining and riveting!
I loved this installment in the series and cannot wait to see who will be next. Great job again Ms. James! Keep them coming!

I have had the opportunity to read four of the stories in the great box set so far. If the four I have read are any indication and I am sure they are, this is one awesome set! The four stories I have read all had great dramatic suspense and hot steamy romance. Each story left me hanging on to the edge of my seat wondering how these hot heroes were going to be able to save the day.

STONE HARD SEAL by Sabrina York is an awesome story that left me going thinking WOW, I can't wait to read more. Ryder “Stone” Maddox and Lily Wilson go through a lot together that makes their bond grow quickly. I love the drama in this story and the suspense had me clinging to the edge of my seat. Sabrina York is also really good at writing those steamy hot scenes between couples with great chemistry that about sets my Kindle on fire. Ms. York is one my favorite authos and I always look forward to reading her work.

THE KISS OF A SEAL by Anne Elizabeth is also a fabulous story of a hot seal and a very strong independent heroine. Jessa Grainger finds herself in the position of being engaged to one man that she doesn't have romantic feeling for while she is falling for another that she is most certainly in love with. I don't want to tell you too much about this story, because I don't want to spoil it for you. I will tell you that there is some drama, a few steamy scenes and a end left me saying aww.

NIGHT WITH A SEAL by Cat Johnson is also a great story. I really liked Ali and Jon. These two have so many things standing in their way of being together. When they do finally have a chance to spend some time alone though they create their own fourth of July fireworks! There is also plenty of drama and suspense in this story.

SEAL'S OBSESSION by Elle James is part of her Take No Prisoners series. I have read other stories in this series and loved them so I was excited to read this one. It lived up to my expectations. It is a fabulous story that adds to this awesome boxed set. Jack Fischer is on a mission to save hostages and take down some nasty pirates. His mission takes a little bit different turn when he meets Dr. Natalie Rhoades. She is on a mission of her own. To help the sick and injured people that have access to no medical care. Jack and Natalie end up working together and creating some mighty fine sparks and steam while they fight against the pirates. This is part of the Take No Prisoners series but no fear, you don't have to have read the prior books, this one works just fine as a stand alone. If you haven't read the rest of the series you might want to give them a try though. I think you will enjoy them. Elle James has quickly became one of my new discovered favorite authors. I have been enjoying a lot of her work lately.

I can not wait to read more of the stories in this great set. This is a box set of great authors writing about some steaming hot seals. If you enjoy great Military romance stories then you are going to love this box set. I know I've loved what I have read so far.

I was given the opportunity to read these great stories so that I may share my thoughts with you. As always it has been my great pleasure to share my thoughts with you on HOT ALPHA SEALS: Military Romance Megaset.

UNBREAKABLE SEAL by J.M. Madden — The emotions you feel when reading this authors books are so deep. This one was starts out when the hero Maxwell Tate is right in the middle of an hallucination in a public place. A former Walter Reed nurse comes upon him and realizes what’s happening to him and helps him through the episode. As with all the books in this series the author shows us the what these guys have to go through when they come back and how easy it is for them to find themselves addicted to pills and booze to numb the pain and also how its an easy fix for a VA Dr to just subscribe them tons of pills instead of getting to the root of the problem. Lacey Adams had seen this to many times with her time at Walter Reed and refuses to let Maxwell let his demons win. Even though this was short it was powerful and a great romance between two wonderful but wounded people that heal each other.

BREAKING TIES by Teresa Reasor — Those that follow the series know that Oliver “Greenback” Shaker is the only one of the in the SEALs team that was married before becoming a Navy SEAL. He and his wife have had a great life and have a young son. Selena hasn’t always liked the amount of time that Oliver is away but respects his love for his job and his team. When she is diagnosed with breast cancer and finds out she’s pregnant the first real test of the marriage comes into play. This author writes great military romances and in this one she gives us a glimpse of how a tough military man is brought to his knees by something he cannot fight or protect his family from. We also get a detailed look at all the stages a woman goes through after being diagnosed along with the complication of being pregnant. Very heartfelt story.

WATCH OVER ME by Delilah Devlin — Deke Warrick been a SEAL for 12 years and has loved every minute of it but his last deployment he lost a friend and for the first time wondering if it may be time to move on. His former commander who is now a congressman with a strong stance against drugs fears his family may be targeted he ask Deke as a personal favor to keep an eye on his daughter while she is on vacation in the Caribbean. What he doesn’t count on is the instant attraction between them that they waste no time acting on forgetting about the danger. This was a quick sexy read with a little suspense at the end.

SEAL'S OBSESSION by Elle James – This fast paced action novella has SEAL TEAM 10's Jack Fischer playing bait for a group of pirates off the coast of Honduras as he and his team tries to find two men that were hijacked and being held for ransom. He runs into a group that runs a medical ship that lands and helps the natives. When an attempt to take the ship is made Jack and his team decides him going undercover on the boat is the best way to catch the pirates as they seem to want the Dr. really bad. Dr. Natalie Rhoades had lost everything 4 years before and the only way she can go on is to help those in poor countries. Jack and Natalie are instantly attracted to each other but know due to their professions and the dangerous situation they are in its not good idea to act on it.

Mr. Black: Strangers yet familiar these two are hotter than hot. Talia and Sebastian have met before, 8 years ago on a horrific night. She has dreamed about him all this time. They meet again, only it's during a masquerade party with costumes and a mission. Her past keeps coming back but this time she might get closure. There is so much mystery about him and she keeps their secret to herself. As a serial this has a cliffhanger, not to worry, it's in the perfect spot. Gifted this book by the author for review, anxious for the next.

Unbreakable Seal: As part of Madden' s series, the Lost and Found series, we have the introduction to Max. He's damaged from his last mission and traumatized by hallucinations along with being wrongly medicated. A chance encounter with Lacey, a former Walter Reed nurse, and she's saving him. Recognizing his strengths and needs she guides him to the right help. These two connect quickly and passionately. Look for more of Max in the next novels.

Stone Hard Seal: Sex on an island is more like it. Stone's mission is to save hostages from pirates. One is a Senator's daughter and he does more than save her. This one has lots of action, military and otherwise.

The Kiss of a Seal: A sweet romance between a tough female trainer and her client. She's stuck in a strange relationship with her fiance and falls for her client. Lots of good feelings with this one.

Night with a Seal: Strong leads and military action makes this is a great read. Look for the next in the series soon.

Hot Bayou Seal: Seriously, Trina is the strongest woman in this whole set. She's training to be a SEAL in the bayou! One of my favorites of this set.

Watch Over Me: I want a vacation with a hot SEAL bodyguard! Fantastically hot way to spend a vacation with a dangerously sexy man watching your back.

SEAL's Obsession: Tasked with watching out for pirates to find US hostages Fish ends up as security for a medical crew. Their was definitely chemistry between Dr. Rhoades and Fish but I didn't feel it was very passionate. Action scenes weren't until the end of the story. This one fell a little flat.

The Seal: Not a big fan of this one. Biker party, salad bowl wrestling, treasure hunting? It's part of a series as only 3 chapters were included.

SEAL' s Promise: One of my favorites of Sharon Hamilton's. I believe there will be an extended version in the fall but this is a lovely story. Frankie dies during a mission leaving his pregnant wife alone. T.J. promises to look out for Shannon but it turns into something more. So much emotion and tenderness in this story. I really liked Shannon' s strong independent attitude and T.J.'s take charge efforts. Well done.

Kiss of a Seal:
What do you do when you heart wants another heart, yet you have said "Yes" to another man.
The Kiss of a SEAL will give you a true love story.
Jessa and "Link" cross paths through their proffesions and right away Link knew Jessa was the one who would capture his heart.
With a little problem of her engagement to another man, Link and Jessa must figure out where her heart truly belongs.

Night With a Seal:
Cat Johnson steals your heart right away with Jon and Alison story. When Alison is asked to come to a 4th of July party to help her friend Darci out of not being the only female, she soon realizes that Darci had alternate plans for Ali.

Jon who is home for just a day, is invited to his buddy Rick's house for a 4th of July party. While there he finds a beautiful woman who he just can't take his eyes off of.

When it is time to leave for the evening and Ali should get a ride home, Jon is there to assit her. They both know that their is a chemistry there yet both know that it can only be for one night. As months go on, Jon is out on tour, their hearts still can't get past that one night of passion.

This is a must read to find out where their love story goes. She knows she is not a woman who can handle her man being deployed and any given moment. Cat Johnson is a wonderful writer and has introduce us to many of other friends whom we will also fall in love with.

Stone Hard Seal by Sabrina York yet agains gives us and shows us her true talents.
Ryder better known as "Stone" in the SEALS along with his Team has been sent on a mission to rescue four Hostages from Pirates.
Lily who has always lived a shelter life and the daughter of a senator who controlled everything she ever did with intentions of protecting her, is one of the Hostages.
Though this mission did not go as planned and smoothly as it was thought to have had. When Stone and his team went in, things went south real fast. Stone found himself on this island with Lily who he was instantly attracted too and off limits, alone.
Lily who has always been sheltered, yet was stubborn. She was very attracted to this SEAL and with the thoughts that she was not going to l

et any control again, she let him know what she had in mind.
Sabrina has a way to pull in her audience and capture their minds with her story, giving away a little at a time. This is a must read, so you can fall in love with Lily and Stone and find out where their hearts lead them too.

Review of Seal's Obsession:

I loved this book. It was really fun to read and just a great story. I enjoyed getting to see some of the same characters from other books in this series. Jack and Natalie are well written characters that I just fell in love with from the beginning of the book.
Natalie is on a floating doctor boat that travels to different places and pulls in to give medical help to the locals, help that they otherwise don't have access to and can't afford. Jack is in the same area as Natalie and the doctor boat on a mission to catch pirates that have been tormenting the surrounding area. They are having a hard time finding them and trying to get them to show themselves. Jack is undercover and just walking around trying to see if he can get a feel for the pirates and/or entice them to try and take him. It doesn't work but he is in the right place when the doctors come under attack. Jack is able to thwart the pirates plan and then he works his way onto Natalie's boat, still undercover. There is instant chemistry between Natalie and Jack but Natalie tries to ignore it at first.

I loved the way that this story was written and the way that it flowed. It was very smooth and it didn't have any issues that I came across. Characterization was dead on throughout the whole story. I found myself not wanting to put it down and not wanting the story to end. This is a quick read and I was not ready for it to be over though the story was complete. I liked the way that it left off, because it is a happily ever after but not an unrealistic one. Both characters know that they have things they need to figure out and work on for things to work out between them but they are ready to take that step and do it. I liked that. There is some suspense throughout the story as you try and figure out if there is an inside man or if the pirates are just good. There's a great balance between action and relationship, enough to keep you totally pulled in and entertained.

This is part of a series but one that can be read as a stand alone without any problems. You do get to see characters from previous books in the series that adds to the story if you have read the others but does not take away if you haven't. You won't feel left out if you haven't read the other books in the series.

All the books in this anthology, even if they are the first part of novella series or a complete story are great. I love when i can read a book and it be filled with all my favorite military romance authors plus some other authors who I have never read.

The anthology as a whole has a little bit for everyone there are suspense, wounded warriors, erotic, series stories and yes heartbreaking stories also. Of course a couple of my favorites J.M Madden and Sharon Hamilton are in this anthology, I never have a bad thing to say about these ladies their books are also an auto buy for me.

Gennita Low has the first part of her book The Seal... I loved it and was highly disappointed when I couldn't keep reading... I hate waiting for the next part of a story especially when it pulls it in.

I love Cindy Dees... I have never read any of her books before but I loved how she integrated a female SEAL into the antho. Tina and Ford where great together and I am excited to read more books by her.

Anne Elisabeth and Cat Johnson's stories where both engaging and complete stories with some sizzling sex scenes... Thank you Anne I don't think I will workout in a gym without thinking about practice mats.

Cristin Harber, Sabrina York and Elle James all their stories have some form of action in it... that give the stories a real aspect which I really enjoyed. When chaos and gunfights can bring the hero and heroine together I enjoy the read even more.

P.T Michelle's story is more of an erotic story and I truly look forward to reading more about Mr. Black. As the past connects with the present I can't wait to see what happens next. For me it was more a teaser for her story which i love and hate... as I wanted to keep reading.

Delilah Devlin has a way of writing feisty heroines who are not afraid of taking what they want. In this case a independent daughter of a Congressman meets harden SEAL who takes his job seriously. There is some seriously hot scenes in this book and not every female needs a male to save her.

Teresa Reasor is an author that will always have me crying at some part... her story is filled with heartbreaking news, tons of love, and show the give and pull that deployed families deal with.

Overall this is a wonderful anthology and I can read it again and again.

This is a review of DELTA: RETRIBUTION by Cristin Harber

Delta: Retribution starts with a one-night stand between Trace and Mallory. A super-hot, intense, one-night stand. Trace is broken and Mallory is more than she appears, so we’re not surprised when Mallory is the high value target or, HVT, that Trace and his team are sent in to rescue. What happens after is pure Cristin Harber.

Plot
Even though this is a novella, there’s a lot going on. There’s Trace’s backstory and his determination to find his fallen brother’s missing dog tags in the Afghan desert, there’s Mallory/Marlana”s secret government project that everyone wants, and then there’s the romance. Cristin Harber accomplishes a lot in just 100 or so pages, and she does it well. But what’s missing is that special…umph…for lack of a better word, that builds tension and sexual longing in her stories. There’s only so much you can do in something of this length, and she did what she does best, tells a steamy, action-packed story. Hopefully this story will do what it’s intended to do, whet the appetite of readers who aren’t familiar with her writing. Because as good as Delta: Retribution is, her full-length novels are so much more.

Characters
Mallory/Marlana is one of my favorite kick-ass Titan female. I love that she’s smart, sweet, and tough, in a very different way than any of the other characters in the series. As the mother of twin boys, Trace’s loss strikes me at my core. I think every mother feels the loss of a child is the worst thing imaginable, but the loss of one of my twins would somehow kill me a little more because of what it would do to his brother. I like Trace well enough, but he’s missing something, and I’m not sure exactly what it is. He’s no Cash, maybe I’ll just leave it at that.

Bottom Line
This is a good, quick read that entertains in a very steamy, Cristin Harber way. I would love to see their characters continue somehow, or even further developed at some point. If you’re not familiar with the Titan Series, for $0.99, you can pick up the Hot Alpha SEALS Military Romance Megaset and sample Critsin Harber as well as 11 other award-winning authors.

My review is only (currently) for Unbreakable Seal by J.M. Madden.

I am such a huge fan of her LNF series and these novellas bring such an epic feel to the books with lots of new characters and a story that packs a punch.

ep·ic adjective \ˈe-pik\

: telling a story about a hero or about exciting events or adventures

This is Max and Lacey's story. Max was on a downward spiral until Lacey came into his life. His SEAL career was over and he was overmedicated. Lacey, a former Nurse at Walter Reed saw something was going on and followed him to an alley and extending a lifeline.

***SPOILLERS***

Lacey put herself out there and kept extending olive branches to Max. Max finally took Lacey up on her offer to make a call for him to get the needed help and everyone from this point on has been someone that Lacey has worked with over her career.

Ultimately, Max will interview at LNF and Lacey will interview with the Colorado VA and off they go on their new rewarding careers.

***END SPOILERS***

I am so excited and can't wait for the next LNF book because J.M. Madden is an absolute "must read" author for me and I have loved each an every book and novella.

I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I can go on and write a HUGE review of each book but I thought I would make it simple and easy for everyone. Out of the 12 novellas 9 blew me away.

Each book displayed a seal in their element, struggle, highs, lows, battles, and love. I found myself loving a military branch that I had the hots for anyways. These authors displayed not only the battle while deployed but the battle at home as well. The men fight for love and for their love.

I have found some new authors to follow because now I need to know how some of the heroes stories will end.

I would have to say my two most favorite were Unbreakable Seal by J.M. Madden and Breaking Ties by Teresa Reasor. Their had me in tears and feeling not only the struggle but emotions displayed in the characters. It was like I wasn't reading the book but living in the pages as the characters feeling every emotion, every heartbreak, every trial.... I was most happy when the ending worked out for all involved because during the story you never knew how it would truly end.
