Storm is an Omegaverse story with some suspense, forbidden love, and an omega who refuses to bend to the expectations the system has for her designation. (Of you want more detail on the book, read more after my review!) This is longer than usual because honestly, my brain hasn't been functioning at full power lately, so it's a mish-mash of my thoughts. Please bear with me!
MY REVIEW: I enjoyed it. There's multiple OV books out there that make it seem like omegas are fragile, softer, even a commodity. There's only two series that I can think of off hand where the government has this much control over them. This one is unique in the way that they're kept in a sort of 'prison' until they're given away as a prize to a pack not of their choosing, and only those packs who can afford the very steep price to enter the lottery. I love that Storm's actions lead to a rebellion that was desperately needed to try and take down the repressive system that was only looking out for the wealthy, even if she certainly didn't mean for that to happen. She's such a sassy, strong, rebellious woman who does what she wants and caves to no one if she can help it. The best part is that her personality doesn't change at all through the book. She doesn't suddenly become soft to her eventual alphas. They accept her for who she is, even if she isn't what a "good omega" is supposed to be, especially in their circles. She remains her spitfire self the whole time, and I love it.
So far, if you're comfortable with MM (there's a fair bit of it, it's MMMMFMM-ish), I recommend this series. It's got strong-willed FMCs, a corrupt government that is about to crumble thanks to the rebellion, a group with very diverse personalities, and so much more. Yeah, there's some smut, but there's great action and character growth, as well.
BONUS - Here's a random point I made a note of while reading the book:
When Storm was building her nest and arranging the fabrics the guys brought her, the author did a great job referring to some of the guys' roles in her life by the placement of each item. Perhaps I read too much into some of it, but here's my thoughts:
~Jonathan - He provided most of the materials, so it made the structure of the nest
~Alex - pillow is put in prominent position against the back wall
~Fox - Placed over Alex's pillow, so similar placement
~Frankie - front of the nest, first thing she'll see and get comforted by when she enters
~Reed - placed where the scent will surround her during the most intense moments
~Rook - "the heart of the nest"
So to me... Jonathan is Storm's rock, the bones of the pack. Alex and Fox are the support, the glue that keeps her together. Reed is her anchor in the metaphorical storm, keeping her grounded when things are tough. Rook is her heart... always has, always will be. Frankie was tougher to describe by placement. He's her comfort... perhaps soul? Again, perhaps I looked too much into it, and my sleep deprived mind tried making sense of something that wasn't quite there. I couldn't sleep without reading "just one more chapter," though!

This was my first non-shifter omegaverse romance and while I was hesitant about that, it did not disappoint! There was still nesting, knotting, and scenting. Still the hierarchy of the pack but with 4 alphas, two omegas, and a beta, there was mostly just polyamorous negotiations ensuing, which was delightful!
My only complaint about the story is that they called out Storm's "dark chocolate" scent far too frequently. It felt like multiple times a chapter. And for that, I took away one star. That being said, I would absolutely continue with this series!
The narrators (Marie Hawkins and Alex Knox) were both fantastic! I wish there would have been a bit more of a distinction in male voices because there were a few times I had to jump back to the beginning of a chapter to figure out which POV I was hearing, but still an excellent job!

Really liked how the different relationships were shown in the pack. Loved how they were thrown together and that the MMCs were open to making it work even if it was inconvenient for them at the time.
Loved the FMC's personality and that she made it her mission to make it as hard for her captors as possible.
Just wanted a little more of everything, especially for how long the book was. We get glimpses of things happening in their world, even some things that affect them, but the outcomes happen off page. Some of the relationships happened mostly off page too, which was disappointing.
It also ended with zero information on how the politics of their world changed, so we're just left with the thought that they're going to be in hiding for the rest of their lives. This is important information we need to know bc the risk is literal death to some of them and kidnapping/rape to others. We really need at least some reassurance that they'd be relatively safe in this world, especially since two of them are from a notorious family, but we were given absolutely none.

This was an entertaining omegaverse story. There's politics and intrigue, with those in power trying to hold on through brute force and oppresive hierarchies. Storm unknowingly lands herself in the middle of things and it's up to her pack to keep her safe.
Given the start of the book, I expected there to be more details or resolution about what happened socially and politically. The first part of the book is all politics, tension, and drama. But the second half of the book is basically just pack dynamics and everyone finding their place in their found family (plus a lot of spice). There's nothing wrong with either of those things, but given how long the book is, I expected more resolution outside of their pack's dynamics.
The narrators did a great job bringing the story to life. Given there are 6 males in the pack, more narrators/full cast narration would have made it easier to keep the dialog straight. That being said, I don't fault the narrators for the similarities between each character's voices.
The story can be read/listened to as a standalone. I did not read book 1 and had no trouble picking up in book 2.
Overall this was an entertaining listen. I enjoyed the politics and intrigue of the first part and the coziness of the found family in the second part. I just wish there was more resolution outside of the pack.

It’s not that this was bad it just wasn’t great. Once again the fmc talks about how she “fought to get this” ma’am there was no fighting whatsoever. There was some bitchyness but that’s about it. There was practically no action whatsoever in this book and a lot like the first most of this was just boring. Do I dare give the next one a chance? The audiobook was done in duel narration and the male narrators voices for each male were just a little to close together for my liking. The female narrator came off a little whiny in this one as well. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for my audio arc. This is my honest review.

Once I finished Harley I was super excited to get this Arc & dive right in.
Storm is definitely one of my favorites so far!
I also love a bit of MM in my books so that definitely didn’t turn me away! Storm is a fierce & determined Omega, which I love that in female main character. Storm deals with life full force & handles everything life throws at her. I loved that her & Rook were looking for one another & would do anything to get back to each other.
I definitely couldn’t pick a favorite male main character, I loved them all.

Storm absolutely lives up to her name. She comes and tears things right apart, but those things need it. For a large part of this book I did not like Pack Kingsley. I did eventually grow to like them for Storm but I was unhappy with how she was first treated. I love her and Rook together. Overall, I was really happy with how things turn out especially since this book is set in such tumultuous times. I’m eager to hear what happens with Daisy!

This was a really entertaining Omegaverse read with a surprisingly interesting political setup, a heroine who refuses to play by the rules, a complicated pack dynamic, and a whole lot of spice. I enjoyed it overall, even if I definitely had some things I wanted MORE of. A similar experience with book 1.
This is an oppressive omega society type omegaverse. Omegas aren't simply viewed as delicate or submissive. They're controlled, confined, and essentially treated like property by a system designed to benefit the wealthy. Omegas are kept in what amounts to a prison until they're selected by packs through an expensive lottery system, meaning they have very little say in where or with whom they end up. Storm gets herself right in the middle of this mess and, almost accidentally, becomes a catalyst for the rebellion this world desperately needs.
I did really like Storm. She is mouthy, stubborn, rebellious, and absolutely unwilling to make herself smaller because someone decided that's what an omega is supposed to be. She fights every expectation placed on her and makes life as difficult as possible for the people trying to control her. What I appreciated most is that she doesn't suddenly become a completely different woman once she gets involved with her pack. She doesn't magically turn soft and submissive because she's surrounded by alphas. She is still Storm. Still difficult. Still fiery. Still determined to do things her way. And the fact that her men eventually accept that instead of trying to "fix" her was one of my favorite parts of the book. She's antithetical to the "traditional" omega which is always fun.
I also really enjoyed the pack itself. There are A LOT of personalities happening here, and I liked seeing how all these relationships developed differently. The fact that the dynamic isn't limited to the most traditional Omegaverse setup was especially interesting, and I loved watching them figure out how to make this unconventional situation work. They don't necessarily get thrown together under ideal circumstances, but they make the choice to actually build something from it. There is a really lovely found family quality that develops as they begin to understand one another, and that ended up being one of the parts I enjoyed.
I will say, though, I wanted more from the larger story. The first half had me really invested. The political tension, the treatment of omegas, the corruption, the rebellion, the danger...there was SO much happening underneath the romance, and I kept waiting for all of that to really explode. Instead, the second half shifts much more heavily toward the pack, their relationships, settling into their dynamic, and, well...SPICE. And listen, I have absolutely no complaints about spicy romance existing in my books, but there came a point where I was sitting there thinking, okay but WHAT ABOUT EVERYTHING ELSE?! The book started to feel long, and I just expected more to be developed with the length but everything stays kind of surface. We get glimpses of larger events and consequences happening around them, but some of those threads resolve outside the page or aren't really given the space I expected. A few of the relationships also develop more in the background than I would have liked. I wanted to SEE more of that. I wanted more of the world changing around them, more of the rebellion, and more confirmation about what their future actually looks like.
And that ending left me wanting some serious reassurance. Given the stakes of this world, these characters aren't dealing with minor inconveniences. For some of them, being discovered could mean death, while others face the very real threat of being taken and abused. So ending the book without much indication of how the political landscape has changed or whether they're actually going to be safe left me scratching my head a little. Especially with some of the family connections involved. I needed at least a little "okay, they're going to be alright" before I could fully settle. It almost felt more HFN than HEA.
Still, I liked this one. I liked Storm. I liked watching her challenge a system that desperately needed to be challenged. I liked the pack once they got past the initial roughness, and I especially loved the way the relationships eventually settled into something that felt uniquely theirs. The story has politics, danger, unconventional relationship dynamics, found family, and plenty of heat, so there's a lot here for an Omegaverse reader to sink their teeth into.
I listened to this one on audio, dual with Marie Hawkins and Alex Knox, and overall they did a really good job bringing the story to life. The performances kept me engaged, and with this many characters and personalities, that is NOT an easy task. I wish we'd had more male narrators though. With that man heroes, it's so hard to differentiate them all, and at times I couldn't differentiate the voice and the tags weren't clear, so at times I needed the eyeball read side by side to keep up with who was saying what. I don't really blame the narrator for that because there are only so many distinct voices one person can create, but a larger cast or more differentiated performances would have made this much easier to follow. So overall, a solid audio performance, just one where I had to pay a little closer attention than usual.
Storm was an entertaining addition to the series. I loved the heroine, enjoyed the unconventional pack dynamic, and was really intrigued by the political side of the world. I just wish the book had given that larger conflict the same attention it gave the romance and pack dynamics. There was SO much potential there, and I wanted more of it.

I don't really blame the narrator for that because there are only so many distinct voices one person can create, but a larger cast or more differentiated performances would have made this much easier to follow. So overall, a solid audio performance, just one where I had to pay a little closer attention than usual.
Storm was an entertaining addition to the series. I loved the heroine, enjoyed the unconventional pack dynamic, and was really intrigued by the political side of the world. I just wish the book had given that larger conflict the same attention it gave the romance and pack dynamics. There was SO much potential there, and I wanted more of it.

I just reread this even though I read this in May 2025. It was better than I remember, but I was feeling really depressed in May. I really enjoyed all the relationships and how they grew together as a pack. Can't wait to read Daisy's story when it comes out.

🖤 This was my first time reading a non-shifter omegaverse romance, and I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. Thankfully, it completely exceeded my expectations. Even without shifting, it still delivered all the elements I enjoy from the genre—nesting, scenting, knotting, and the familiar pack dynamics—but with a refreshing twist that made the story feel unique.
✨ The pack itself was one of the most interesting parts of the book. With four alphas, two omegas, and one beta, there was a lot of emphasis on communication, boundaries, and figuring out how everyone fit together. Instead of endless drama, the relationships evolved through conversations and compromise, which made the polyamorous dynamic feel surprisingly natural.
⚡ Storm absolutely lives up to her name. From the moment she enters the story, she disrupts everything the pack has grown comfortable with, forcing everyone to confront issues they'd rather ignore. I admired her resilience and the way she refused to let herself be diminished, even when she wasn't treated the way she deserved. Watching her stand her ground made her incredibly easy to root for.
💛 I have to admit, Pack Kingsley frustrated me for a good portion of the book. Their initial treatment of Storm was difficult to watch, and it definitely took time before they earned my trust. Thankfully, the character development paid off, and by the end I found myself appreciating both their individual growth and the evolution of the pack as a whole.
🫶 One relationship that completely stole my heart was Storm and Rook. Their connection felt genuine from the start, and every scene they shared made me smile. They balanced each other beautifully, and I couldn't get enough of their interactions.
🌍 Even with the romance taking center stage, I also enjoyed the larger world surrounding the characters. The story takes place during a particularly uncertain period, which added extra tension and made the pack's struggles feel even more meaningful. By the final chapters, I was already curious to see where the series would go next—especially when it comes to Daisy.
🎧 I experienced the story through the audiobook, and both Marie Hawkins and Alex Knox delivered strong performances. They captured the emotions of the characters really well and made it easy to stay immersed in the story. My only small issue was occasionally needing a moment to figure out which male character's perspective I was listening to, as some of the voices sounded fairly similar. Aside from that, they both did an excellent job bringing the cast to life.
🍫 If I had one minor criticism, it would be the repeated references to Storm's "dark chocolate" scent. It came up often enough that I started noticing it every time, and after a while it became a little distracting. It's a very small complaint in the grand scheme of things, but it did stand out.
💜 Overall, this was a really enjoyable introduction to non-shifter omegaverse romance. It offered engaging characters, satisfying pack dynamics, emotional growth, and enough intrigue to leave me excited for the next installment. I'll definitely be continuing this series.

I love a good omegaverse, and this one delivered. This series is set in more of a dystopian world than I typically read, but it adds an extra element of danger to the story. I really enjoyed the FMC in this book, she is a little chaotic and always pushing against the strict rules that she is expected to follow because of her omega designation. She ends up accidentally starting a revolt in the city when she was just trying to create a distraction so that she could escape her newly selected pack and run away with her childhood best friend and first love. Unfortunately she chose the wrong pack if she was looking for an easy escape and now she is locked away with the heirs to one of the most powerful packs in the city.
I love how the pack began reluctantly/accidentally with one female omega and three alpha males, and over the course of the story came to include a male omega, beta, and another alpha. There was a lot of really great communication between the characters and discussions around consent when it came to pack activities. I loved the way the characters evolved over the course of the story and learned to understand each other and eventually love each other.
Don't worry, you will also get all of the spice that you want from an omegaverse... all the kinds of spice... all the combinations... it was a good time.
I enjoyed the characters, the relationships and the story. It also sets you up for the next book and I am excited for that book too!
The audiobook is dual style narration performed by Marie Hawkins. I thought it was a good listen and I didn't feel like the male narrator reading the female dialogue distracted me from the story. I do wish that with so many male characters the narrators had more distinct voices for each one to help the listener differentiate who was speaking.

Omegaverse audiobook with dual narration, multi POVs
Storm is my favourite book so far (compared to #1); Book 2 builds on a cliffhanger from Book 1 however you’re ok to start with this one.
FMC Storm is definitely full of fire, likes to stir up trouble, and she meets some interesting Alphas along the way. She lives in a society that favours the “pure blood” elite alphas and omegas; she’s raised in an Omega academy and she does her best to find love of her choosing.
“She’s fire where he’s ice; chaos where he’s order.”
I loved Storm’s confidence and attitude; there was lots of banter and an interesting plot at the beginning of the story, action, and then some mid-book slowdown. At times, I found it a bit cheesy and would’ve liked more purposeful interactions. The story featured some morally grey Alphas, and I would’ve loved some higher stakes and more description/being in the action of some that grey (vs just referenced/hinted at).
The story featured characters with complicated pasts, and covers trauma in a positive way; respect for choice, consent and time for healing is prominent.
Narrators: Marie Hawkins is well matched to the FMC and plays various voices well; Alex Knox was good, however I sometimes felt like the narration sounded more like reading and that there was less variation of voices between different characters.
This was a fun omegaverse, with electric connections, scenting, a sweet found family, and it’s heavy on the spice towards the end of the story.

Audiobook Review 🎧: This book was the perfect follow-up to Harley, and I absolutely loved it! Being an omega romance sucker, I was more than ready for this one, and Belle Harper delivered. But let’s talk about the narration, because Marie Hawkins and Alex Knox absolutely KILLED it! Marie was fantastic as the rebellious yet understanding omega. She brought so much personality and emotion to her character, and I loved listening to her bring Storm to life. And Alex? He played every guy role wonderfully. One of my favorite things was how easily I could distinguish between the different male characters. There was never a moment where I had to stop and think, "Wait…who is talking?" Every character had a distinct voice, which made the listening experience so much more immersive.
And the chemistry between Marie and Alex’s voices? AMAZING. Their vocal chemistry added another layer of depth to the story and honestly made it even harder to stop listening. I kept telling myself, "Just one more chapter…" and we all know how that goes haha.
I also really loved how Storm ties into Harley. Since both books take place during the same time period, getting to experience events from another perspective helped me understand certain things that happened in the previous book and somehow made me love Harley even more!
Overall, this was such a fun listen and a perfect continuation of the series. The story, the characters, the romance, and especially the narration all came together beautifully. If you’re an omega romance fan, you absolutely need this one on your listening list. It did *KNOT* disappoint one bit. Pun absolutely intended. Storm By Belle Harper ARC Review
Storm, was an omega and woman who survived living in foster homes and had a bad past I liked that she was so free to speak as she pleases and she did that was remarkable and I wanted more of her back talk and power I read about Storm in book 1 and I can see how she became the way she is now in the present.
I thought she was an angel who survived on what she had and lived how she wanted to and also be herself she had really loving and attentive alphas who appreciated her and let her live how she wanted to. This was an incredible read where I wanted more and I can’t wait for Daisy’s story.
Jonathan was a fighter and a great friend who cared about his friends and tries his hardest to protect them at every turn and I thought he was an amazing male main character because he was protective and possessive which made me love his character even more.
Rook, was a spontaneous mmc because he was a loving best friend and loved who worshiped Storm and the others I knew he was a fighter at the start and he had the best qualities and characteristics I want in an mmc he was a very strong character which made me enjoy him even more.
The others were an a match made in heaven and I can’t give any spoilers they each had their own personality’s and went through what they had to get where they are now. I think was a great read and rated this 5 stars and I can’t wait for the final book!

Book 2 Omega Chosen.
I was so excited to get to Storm's story after we were introduced to her in book 1. She is such a fun/fierce omega FMC. I loved that she wasn't this meek fragile damsel and was determined to fight for what she believed in and wanted.
This omegaverse is so easy to get hooked on with the twisted dystopian currupt government trying to control its society with the promise of the rare omegas by lottery.
I loved the dynamic between Storm and her pack. It was unique in the there were not only alphas and betas but also an additional male omega, and there were also relationships between the MMCs as well. For as many characters as there were, the story flowed easily, and their pack dynamic fit so well together.
While this can be read as a standalone, the overall political corruption plot continues throughout the series.
Narrated by Marie Hawkins and Alex Knox. They were easy to listen to, keeping my attention as they brought the characters to life.

“Storm by name, hurricane by nature”
This is a different take on Omegaverse hierarchy and how the different designations are treated by the government. My heart goes out to the male omegas for sure. I absolutely love male omegas and Fox is a sweetheart who definitely has PTSD for how they treat male omegas. No one deserves that.
See what Storm will do to get back to her love, Rook who she was taken away from as soon as she presented as an omega. She is to be put in a lottery given to an elite alpha pack not of her choosing and let’s not forget beta and omega pairing is strictly forbidden no touching even allowed or can result in death.
The is a polyamorous Reverse Harem and I love the dynamic of this pack, where each one fits a need in the grouping. Which in my opinion gets explained a bit with how her nest is made and where items of clothing are placed.
While most omegas do not like to be around each other it is different with a male and female omega. In this group their heats synced up and they ended up sharing her nest.
Harley & Storm are just what needed to happen to shake things up and hoping to see in the next book how the system is progressing with change.

Storm was forced into an Omega house after presenting which was devastating to leave her childhood love, Rook. When she left they promised each other they'd find one another again. Storm is introduced in Harley's book where we learn that during the lottery, they omegas figure out how to rig the drawing so Storm has a plan.
When the plan goes a bit different than she expected, she ends up with more alphas, a beta and a male omega. I love Storm though! She's feisty! (Which is what the guys love about her).
If you've read Harley's book then you have an idea of what was going on at the same time. One thing that was strange was the huge threat by Jonathan and Alexander's fathers that kind of fizzled. I honestly don't remember enough details from Harley's book to remember if they were mentioned in that one, or maybe they'll be mentioned in the next book.
With so many characters I know it's not easy to fully develop relationships between everyone but I thought the author did a fairly decent job.

If you've read Harley's book then you have an idea of what was going on at the same time. One thing that was strange was the huge threat by Jonathan and Alexander's fathers that kind of fizzled. I honestly don't remember enough details from Harley's book to remember if they were mentioned in that one, or maybe they'll be mentioned in the next book.
With so many characters I know it's not easy to fully develop relationships between everyone but I thought the author did a fairly decent job.

Holy hotness overlord with a side of Twins!

This book was so steamy!!!! I felt so many feels in this book I left me on the edge of my seat with each chapter! I loved all of Storms mates and all the tension! The dynamics between everyone was perfection! I loved the friendship between Storm and Harley! Wish there was a bit more back story on how Storm and Rook ended up in foster care. I loved all the world building and more details showed up and even more about Daisy! I loved how she broke through some defences with Reed! Sparks really sparked there! And the relationship with Fox?! Holy smokes that was a whole other level of steam I loved! And the teasing between Storm, Frankie, Alex and Fox?! Ugh soooo good! I loved how this ended up being one big family pack. This book was just all around good I couldn't put it down! I highly recommend this series!!!!
I kinda wish we were getting a book about Dahlia honestly 😆 because that left me some questions on what happened to her and her pack.

I was already excited after finishing Harley, but Storm might be my favourite of the series so far. Fierce, determined, and unapologetically herself, Storm barrels through every challenge like… well, a storm—and I loved her for it. She’s the kind of Omega who doesn’t just survive, she fights for what (and who) she loves.
Storm and Rook’s connection had me absolutely hooked. That desperate, aching need to get back to each other? Ugh, so good. Their bond gave the story so much emotional weight, especially with all the rebellion chaos swirling around them. I wasn’t sure how I felt about Pack Kingsley at first (not gonna lie, I was mad for a while), but they definitely grew on me and watching Storm shake them up was incredibly satisfying.
There’s tension, heartbreak, steamy moments (yes, even a little M/M which I LOVED), and a strong-as-hell heroine at the center of it all. This world just keeps getting more intense, and I’m dying to see what happens with Daisy next!

Welcome back to Crescent City. Storm: Omega Chosen is a beautiful omegaverse story. Storm rigged the omega auction and inadvertently set off a disastrous chain of reactions. She did it all to find her friend and Alpha from childhood, Rook. In the meantime, she’s with Jonathan, Alexander, Frankie, Fox and Reed. What happens when you combine four Alphas, one Beta, one male Omega and Storm? I loved the description of their scents.
The dual narration by Marie Hawkins and Alex Knox was phenomenal. Marie Hawkins was spectacular as sweet, kind, sassy Storm. All of her hurt, pain, confusion, intelligence, sass, love and passion was clearly evident in her voice. Alex Knox was superb as sweet, kind, fighter Alpha Rook, grumpy, growly Alpha Reed, charming, calm Alexander, tough, strong Jonathan, sweet, lovable Omega Fox, and happy, compassionate Beta Frankie. He gave them all their own unique tone that matched their personality. I highly recommend listening to this fabulous audiobook.

I really enjoyed this one overall. It had a very similar feel to the first book in the series, not because it was the same story, but because it captured the same atmosphere and relationship dynamics that made the first book so enjoyable.
My only real criticism was the final 20% of the book. Up until then, the plot had been building nicely, but it suddenly shifted into scene after scene of spice. I don’t mind spicy romance at all, but it felt like the story took a backseat just when I was expecting the plot to reach its conclusion. Because of that, the ending felt a little rushed, and I was left with a few unanswered questions that I would have liked to see addressed.
Even with those issues, I still had a good time listening to this audiobook. The characters were enjoyable, the romance kept me invested, and I’ll definitely continue with the series.

This is Book 2 of the series which follows Storm by exploring the ramifications of calling out Pack Kingsley during her Choosing Day.
Belle Harper must have read reviews from Book 1. I felt more connected to most of the characters because she fleshed out their histories more. I had a better understanding of the universe. And even though the story revolved primarily around their ability and inability to come together as a pack, it didn’t feel rushed or unfinished. The story previews Book 3 and I look forward to seeing how the universe evolves with Daisy’s disappearance.
There was still some unnecessary fluff, but not enough for me to hate the book. Again I enjoyed the story and look forward to Book 3.

RH Omegaverse with MM
This was a good read. Storm’s story coincides with Harley’s (the 1st book in the series)
I liked Storm, she was sassy, fierce without being over the top and compassionate.
The MMCs were diverse in their personalities and there was a bit of background info on some of them but would have preferred a bit more especially on Reed.
Other than the drama in the beginning and a bit from ‘the fathers’ there was no other drama in the story, it was more about building a pack/family.
The ending sets us up for the next book in the series ‘Daisy’

* Hate to Love
* Friends to Lovers
* MMC with traumatic past
* Mental Health Rep

It was nice to find out more of Storm’s story and I actually like this book more than the first one. It brings you another strong FMC and 5 hot MMC. Of course, there is lots of spicy times with this pack and the chemistry between all of them was great. With the length of the book, I was hoping to find out more about the political part of their society and how the class system came to be, but maybe that will be explored in the next book. This was a solid 4.

Okay, I loved the uniqueness of this dystopian romance. Belle Harper is a completely new author to me. There’s so much to unpack here. Suspense. Politics. Forbidden romance. Found family. So much tension and conflict. I really enjoyed it! Well done, Tantor Audio. I thought narrators Marie Hawkins and Alex Knox did a great job of bringing this story and these characters to life. The story was very engaging and held my attention from start to finish. There was good character development and the spice was yummy! Storm, our FMC, was confident and strong. I loved the banter. There were some cheesy parts at times, but overall, an entertaining listen. I received this audiobook from Tantor Audio and NetGalley. All opinions are my own.
