Omegas are meant to follow the rules. To choose the right Pack. To keep the balance.
I did the opposite.
I don’t want them. They don’t want me. I’m only using them to get to the Alpha I can’t live without. He might not be my scent match, but he’s the only Alpha I trust. The only one who truly knows me.
But something unexpected happens… the Pack decides to help me. At first, it’s just survival. A way to get what we all want. Me long gone and their life back to the way it was. But somewhere along the way, emotions tangle, lines blur, and maybe, just maybe… I don’t want to leave.
Now, the city is in chaos, the authorities are closing in, and time is running out. But I’ve never been the kind of Omega to back down.
Rules be damned. I’m fighting for what’s mine.
Storm is a standalone reverse harem Omegaverse with a fierce FMC, unexpected bonds, and a determined Omega who won’t be tamed. It includes MM and MMFMM+ scenes. It contains multiple points of view and has a HEA!
Belle has an addiction to reading, notebooks, coloured pens and mint chocolate. She lives in the beautiful Australian bush, surrounded by wildlife and the smell of eucalyptus trees. She also has a strong love for all 60’s music, believes she was born in the wrong era and should have been at Woodstock. Really liked how the different relationships were shown in the pack. Loved how they were thrown together and that the MMCs were open to making it work even if it was inconvenient for them at the time.
Loved the FMC's personality and that she made it her mission to make it as hard for her captors as possible.
Just wanted a little more of everything, especially for how long the book was. We get glimpses of things happening in their world, even some things that affect them, but the outcomes happen off page. Some of the relationships happened mostly off page too, which was disappointing.
It also ended with zero information on how the politics of their world changed, so we're just left with the thought that they're going to be in hiding for the rest of their lives. This is important information we need to know bc the risk is literal death to some of them and kidnapping/rape to others. We really need at least some reassurance that they'd be relatively safe in this world, especially since two of them are from a notorious family, but we were given absolutely none.
Storm is an Omegaverse story with some suspense, forbidden love, and an omega who refuses to bend to the expectations the system has for her designation. (Of you want more detail on the book, read more after my review!) This is longer than usual because honestly, my brain hasn't been functioning at full power lately, so it's a mish-mash of my thoughts. Please bear with me!
MY REVIEW: I enjoyed it. There's multiple OV books out there that make it seem like omegas are fragile, softer, even a commodity. There's only two series that I can think of off hand where the government has this much control over them. This one is unique in the way that they're kept in a sort of 'prison' until they're given away as a prize to a pack not of their choosing, and only those packs who can afford the very steep price to enter the lottery. I love that Storm's actions lead to a rebellion that was desperately needed to try and take down the repressive system that was only looking out for the wealthy, even if she certainly didn't mean for that to happen. She's such a sassy, strong, rebellious woman who does what she wants and caves to no one if she can help it. The best part is that her personality doesn't change at all through the book. She doesn't suddenly become soft to her eventual alphas. They accept her for who she is, even if she isn't what a "good omega" is supposed to be, especially in their circles. She remains her spitfire self the whole time, and I love it.
So far, if you're comfortable with MM (there's a fair bit of it, it's MMMMFMM-ish), I recommend this series. It's got strong-willed FMCs, a corrupt government that is about to crumble thanks to the rebellion, a group with very diverse personalities, and so much more. Yeah, there's some smut, but there's great action and character growth, as well.
BONUS - Here's a random point I made a note of while reading the book: When Storm was building her nest and arranging the fabrics the guys brought her, the author did a great job referring to some of the guys' roles in her life by the placement of each item. Perhaps I read too much into some of it, but here's my thoughts: ~Jonathan - He provided most of the materials, so it made the structure of the nest ~Alex - pillow is put in prominent position against the back wall ~Fox - Placed over Alex's pillow, so similar placement ~Frankie - front of the nest, first thing she'll see and get comforted by when she enters ~Reed - placed where the scent will surround her during the most intense moments ~Rook - "the heart of the nest"
So to me... Jonathan is Storm's rock, the bones of the pack. Alex and Fox are the support, the glue that keeps her together. Reed is her anchor in the metaphorical storm, keeping her grounded when things are tough. Rook is her heart... always has, always will be. Frankie was tougher to describe by placement. He's her comfort... perhaps soul? Again, perhaps I looked too much into it, and my sleep deprived mind tried making sense of something that wasn't quite there. I couldn't sleep without reading "just one more chapter," though!
Once I finished Harley I was super excited to get this Arc & dive right in.
Storm is definitely one of my favorites so far! I also love a bit of MM in my books so that definitely didn’t turn me away! Storm is a fierce & determined Omega, which I love that in female main character. Storm deals with life full force & handles everything life throws at her. I loved that her & Rook were looking for one another & would do anything to get back to each other.
I definitely couldn’t pick a favorite male main character, I loved them all.
Storm absolutely lives up to her name. She comes and tears things right apart, but those things need it. For a large part of this book I did not like Pack Kingsley. I did eventually grow to like them for Storm but I was unhappy with how she was first treated. I love her and Rook together. Overall, I was really happy with how things turn out especially since this book is set in such tumultuous times. I’m eager to hear what happens with Daisy!
The hurricane is here! This book has been so amazing! The hurricane that is storm! The rebellion that’s hitting new highs! The twist and turns! The MMC’s who fight against the feelings! This book has it all! Brother sandwich’s, found again love and a strong MFC who shakes the ground under them all! Cannot wait for the next book!
I just reread this even though I read this in May 2025. It was better than I remember, but I was feeling really depressed in May. I really enjoyed all the relationships and how they grew together as a pack. Can't wait to read Daisy's story when it comes out.
Storm, was an omega and woman who survived living in foster homes and had a bad past I liked that she was so free to speak as she pleases and she did that was remarkable and I wanted more of her back talk and power I read about Storm in book 1 and I can see how she became the way she is now in the present.
I thought she was an angel who survived on what she had and lived how she wanted to and also be herself she had really loving and attentive alphas who appreciated her and let her live how she wanted to. This was an incredible read where I wanted more and I can’t wait for Daisy’s story.
Jonathan was a fighter and a great friend who cared about his friends and tries his hardest to protect them at every turn and I thought he was an amazing male main character because he was protective and possessive which made me love his character even more.
Rook, was a spontaneous mmc because he was a loving best friend and loved who worshiped Storm and the others I knew he was a fighter at the start and he had the best qualities and characteristics I want in an mmc he was a very strong character which made me enjoy him even more.
The others were an a match made in heaven and I can’t give any spoilers they each had their own personality’s and went through what they had to get where they are now. I think was a great read and rated this 5 stars and I can’t wait for the final book!
Belle Harper delivers an electrifying, emotionally gripping ride in Storm that flips the typical Omegaverse dynamic on its head. This isn’t your average Omega story—this is a defiant, fierce, and powerfully written tale about rewriting fate and choosing your own path, no matter the cost.
The heroine is the kind of Omega you root for from page one—strong, unapologetic, and absolutely done playing by the rules. She’s not looking for love or belonging; she’s after the Alpha she can’t live without, no matter what stands in her way. But what starts as a mission soon morphs into something much deeper, as the Pack she never wanted becomes something she never expected: hers.
The tension, the slow-burn dynamics, and the evolution of trust between characters were all masterfully done. I loved how the emotional layers unfolded slowly, making every shift in loyalty and affection feel earned. There's heat, high stakes, and heart—and the chaos swirling through the city is the perfect backdrop for a romance that refuses to be boxed in.
If you love Omegaverse stories with a rebellious streak, found family vibes, and a heroine who refuses to be tamed, Storm will absolutely blow you away.
Storm was forced into an Omega house after presenting which was devastating to leave her childhood love, Rook. When she left they promised each other they'd find one another again. Storm is introduced in Harley's book where we learn that during the lottery, they omegas figure out how to rig the drawing so Storm has a plan.
When the plan goes a bit different than she expected, she ends up with more alphas, a beta and a male omega. I love Storm though! She's feisty! (Which is what the guys love about her).
If you've read Harley's book then you have an idea of what was going on at the same time. One thing that was strange was the huge threat by Jonathan and Alexander's fathers that kind of fizzled. I honestly don't remember enough details from Harley's book to remember if they were mentioned in that one, or maybe they'll be mentioned in the next book.
With so many characters I know it's not easy to fully develop relationships between everyone but I thought the author did a fairly decent job.
This book was so steamy!!!! I felt so many feels in this book I left me on the edge of my seat with each chapter! I loved all of Storms mates and all the tension! The dynamics between everyone was perfection! I loved the friendship between Storm and Harley! Wish there was a bit more back story on how Storm and Rook ended up in foster care. I loved all the world building and more details showed up and even more about Daisy! I loved how she broke through some defences with Reed! Sparks really sparked there! And the relationship with Fox?! Holy smokes that was a whole other level of steam I loved! And the teasing between Storm, Frankie, Alex and Fox?! Ugh soooo good! I loved how this ended up being one big family pack. This book was just all around good I couldn't put it down! I highly recommend this series!!!!
I kinda wish we were getting a book about Dahlia honestly 😆 because that left me some questions on what happened to her and her pack.
The hurricane has officially landed—and her name is Storm. 🌪️
I was already excited after finishing Harley, but Storm might be my favourite of the series so far. Fierce, determined, and unapologetically herself, Storm barrels through every challenge like… well, a storm—and I loved her for it. She’s the kind of Omega who doesn’t just survive, she fights for what (and who) she loves.
Storm and Rook’s connection had me absolutely hooked. That desperate, aching need to get back to each other? Ugh, so good. Their bond gave the story so much emotional weight, especially with all the rebellion chaos swirling around them. I wasn’t sure how I felt about Pack Kingsley at first (not gonna lie, I was mad for a while), but they definitely grew on me and watching Storm shake them up was incredibly satisfying.
There’s tension, heartbreak, steamy moments (yes, even a little M/M which I LOVED), and a strong-as-hell heroine at the center of it all. This world just keeps getting more intense, and I’m dying to see what happens with Daisy next!
This is Book 2 of the series which follows Storm by exploring the ramifications of calling out Pack Kingsley during her Choosing Day.
Belle Harper must have read reviews from Book 1. I felt more connected to most of the characters because she fleshed out their histories more. I had a better understanding of the universe. And even though the story revolved primarily around their ability and inability to come together as a pack, it didn’t feel rushed or unfinished. The story previews Book 3 and I look forward to seeing how the universe evolves with Daisy’s disappearance.
There was still some unnecessary fluff, but not enough for me to hate the book. Again I enjoyed the story and look forward to Book 3.
This was a good read. Storm’s story coincides with Harley’s (the 1st book in the series) I liked Storm, she was sassy, fierce without being over the top and compassionate. The MMCs were diverse in their personalities and there was a bit of background info on some of them but would have preferred a bit more especially on Reed.
Other than the drama in the beginning and a bit from ‘the fathers’ there was no other drama in the story, it was more about building a pack/family.
The ending sets us up for the next book in the series ‘Daisy’
* Second Chance (Reuniting after being forced apart) * Hate to Love * Friends to Lovers * MMC with traumatic past * Mental Health Rep * MM * Two Omegas
At the beginning, I was confused about the time jumps. We started at age 16 and then went back months in the past and then back to where we started. Then we jumped 4 years in the future and it was kind of hard to follow but it gets way better after that ! This book was so amazing, you get dragged in and couldn’t stop reading. Storm is a beta born omega and she is touch as nails and sticks to her guns. She loves her best friend and will do anything to get back to Rook. She edda up getting her RH. The character growth in this story is very well written and the world building and story line keeps you wanting more.
4 ⭐️ for book 2 in Belle Harper’s omegaverse series, Storm: Omega Chosen. This can totally be read as a standalone, though returning readers will recognize the first FMC Storm from book 1. The author does a great job weaving in backstory, so even if you’re new to this world you won’t feel lost.
This story leans slow burn but definitely delivers on the spice, including some very sweet and spicy MM and MMF moments. I loved seeing Storm’s dynamic with each pack member unfold as their emotional connections developed, and her character was easy to root for.
And of course, Belle left us with some well-placed cookie crumbs about the next omega’s story… and I’m already intrigued! Bring it on.
This is an omegaverse book with quite a bit of MM action so if that is not you thing, then this book is not for you. As with most reverse harem/omegaverse books, this is spicy. Storm lives in a very oppressive world but she is fighting the system so that she or others like her are not forced to be with a pack that they do not choose for themselves. She is fierce and strong with a resolve to fight for what she believes in. Storm's pack accepts her for who she is and does not try to change her into what the "ideal" omega would be. All of the guys were great and truly cared for her. I really enjoyed Storm's story and can't wait to read more.
Another ah-mazing Belle Harper book! I absolutely love this author. Storm is another omegaverse (so if you love them give this book a read). It’s book 2 in the series and is a standalone. We get a small glimpse of her in Harley’s book. Storm is my favourite type of character, strong willed and doesn’t back down for anyone. I cried and laughed while reading this book. The only con I felt was needing more information about the organization for Omega’s. It felt a bit rushed and having to be in hiding for the rest of your life seems a crappy way to live. I hope we get more information in Daisy’s book. Overall it’s a 8/10 for me.
Storm's story was a good one. I liked her sass and determination to be in charge of her future. I liked that Rook never gave up on being with her. This book explains more of the rebellion that was briefly mentioned in Harper's book. There is a weird time jump in the end. It felt a bit rushed. I would have loved to read more about the relationships that formed between the other pack members. I feel like, in the end, everyone was suddenly together and happy. I did enjoy reading this book and am definitely moving on to the next one. Maybe more will be explained about the happenings in the world outside of Harley and Storm's pack.
This is book 2 in Belle Harper’s omegaverse series.
This could be read as a standalone, however, I would strongly recommend that you read the first book in the series. Storm is introduced in the first book. Belle Harper does tell the backstory, so you would not be totally lost if this was the first book of the series you read.
This is a slow burn, but does have the spicy scenes. Reader beware - does involve MM and MMF scenes.
I loved diving into Storm's story and seeing how each relationship with a pack member unfolds.
And of course, there was some clues for the next installment of this omegaverse.
Storm is a hurricane wherever she goes. Growing up as a beta, in the foster system, her and Rook plan to run away together. When she suddenly presents as an omega, she's whisked away to the omega house where she continues to be a hurricane. Drawing out the pack that supervises the omegas triggers the revolution for change in society and she's whisked away by the Kingsley pack as their omega. Chaos follows as Rook finds them and the beta guard joins them as well. I loved how Storm was so confident in herself and crested chaos wherever she went. I loved how the Kingsley alphas Jonathon, Alexander and Reed were all obsessed with her and how their male omega Fox also was enamoured with her. Really enjoyed this story!
Great Omegaverse story with a strong FMC who, with no reservations, refuses to bend to system. When her plan to get back to her first love doesn't go quite as planned, she is forced to stay the pack she "chose." I enjoyed the growth of the relationships between all of the characters and how everyone took care of and protected Storm even though some were more resistant to their feelings. I wanted to slap a couple of them upside the head but in the end the pack dynamic is perfect and had a great ending. I can't wait to read Daisy's story next.
As soon as I finished Harley, I downloaded Storm and started reading right away. I was hooked from the very beginning. Storm lives up to her name, let me tell you. She isn't going to let anymore try and change her. She is who she is, and she's proud of it, and she stands tall. I love how loyal and strong Storm is she isn't letting her surroundings break her and the plans she has for the future.
Really enjoyed this one! Storm is a strong, fiery character and I loved how she never backed down. The Pack was great too. Each of them brought something different, and the group dynamic was fun to read. I just wish there was more time spent on their relationship development. Some of the bonds felt a little quick, and I would’ve loved more emotional depth and interaction between them. Still, it kept me hooked the whole way, and I’m definitely excited to see what happens next in the series.
Immediately after finishing Harley I was stoked to find this book already released so I had to get it. I loved this one equally as much. Storm lives up to her name and is living the best life. I love her strength and how she deals with life. The pack is great too and they are all bringing something into the relationship which I love really. The dynamic of pack life is fantastic and I can't get enough of it.
We met Storm (FMC) briefly in her friend and fellow Omega House captive Harley's book (the 1st book in this series). They found a kinship that crossed over in parts of this book.
Storm's book follows the fallout of her Choosing Day (to pick her pack) and her picking Jonathan's pack. Storm by name and Storm by nature. She certainly knows how to stir up the pot and cause the most problems she can. I loved that about her from Harley's book. I also loved Rook (swoon!!), Frankie and Fox (both of which were cute as hell) in this book. They were all differing characters and personalities but they found a common ground (some quicker than others) together. A flaming Brilliant read with characters I really loved.
Our girl, Storm, certainly lives up to her name! This was a good time as we got more of Storm's back story, some additional insight into the politics that rule Crescent City (would have definitely liked even more!), and a whole lot of... action. 😅
This was a wonderful story about knowing & staying true to yourself, even amid adversity and fear, and the unconditional and beautiful love of found family. Strong characters and even stronger bonds. I love the Kingsley Pack.
I just love Storm. She has so much sass and determined to be in charge of her future. I couldn’t wait to get her story after reading Harley's.
All of her mates are so perfect for her and I was definitely here for all of them steamy parts in this book as well as the emotions I was put through.
This is different than other Omegaverse books I have read. With the government trying to control everything. So many good side characters too and cannot wait for other books in this series!
I was eagerly awaiting Storm's story after we met her in the previous book. I love how she chose her own pack, even if it was for the wrong reasons. She certainly keeps her men busy with what a whirlwind she is. I love how a male omega is also brought into the story. The book does have some MM action, which is tastefully written and adds to the story. This was another great read by Belle, and I can't wait for the next book in the series.
I was so happy to see Storm getting her story told. There is no doubt that she is strong and isn't afraid to speak her mind. I loved her with her pack especially Rook and Fox. While it can be read as a standalone it do have an overarching plot that runs parallel to the first book Harley. I devoured Storm's story and can't wait to read the next book in the series.
