The Knot Hole

Reaching through The Knot Hole to past moments in time…

Taryn always wondered about how realistic her mothers’ tales were that she was told. They seemed like fantastic, creative and fun adventures. Now with Taryn's mother gone, she will realize that her mother wasn't just telling stories . . . she was really living them.

Time has passed and Taryn has uncovered the power of The Knot Hole and the travels that await her. The Crossing Series (The Knot Hole, The Passage and The Muse) will take you on a romantic journey from many years past to the present for some souls to return. They have come back in time to keep their love alive.

There are many exciting ventures for Taryn both in her own mind and soul. She will learn many elements of love and have guidance along the way. But what she never thought she would find is that one love, his name is Silas who touches her like no one ever will in her entire lifetime.

Where to begin?
For Starters I will be continuing this story tonight with The Passage. The Knot Hole was an easy 5 stars for me personally. This story was told beautifully. You feel each emotion through the characters as if you were actually there. Renee Lee Fisher has outdone herself on this.
Taryn takes you on an adventure of the past. It begins with her staining the wood paneling in her mothers room, her sanctuary if you will. As she's staining the paneling her hand passes through The Knot Hole. At first Taryn doesn't understand what The Knot Hole is, until she hears her mother. As the story goes on Taryn visits the dream spot and gets to experience past memories and adventures, some many, many years ago.
There are surprises along the way, and I have a feeling that this is only the beginning. One-Click this for a beautiful adventure, that hasn't been done before.

I have been doing book reviews for a while now and have come across another wonderful author. Renee Lee Fisher is amazing. This book is an adult fairy tale. It has an old soul feeling to it as well as a modern feel. There is so much love and chemistry through this book. It amazing how two souls have stayed connect through time and many others have be brought through as well during this story. You can get lost in this book and believe in what is being told through the past and brought to the present.

There are not enough rating stars for this book since 5 is not enough. I have truly enjoyed this book an hated putting it down. I am also so grateful to have met an amazing author who is caring and special. Thank you Renee

I love the premise of this book. I so wanted more of the times where the main character was in different times. Instead, the author bogged us down with overly specific dialouge. Do we really need to have Terryn and Jack talk about their schedules in painful detail. Good grief. You could simply say, "Our schedules lined up so that Jack was coming Wednesday night." Instead of a 2 paragraph back and forward phone conversation "Does Tuesday work?" "No, how about Friday?" "No, I'm busy." etc. Then we needed to go through step by step of how she would legally have a pen name. Umm...I don't care. Get back to the cool stuff.

I did not enjoy this book. I finished it because I like to finish books I’ve started, but it was a push. I skim read a lot of the second half of the book. I didn’t like the way the characters conversed, like somehow they had to remind themselves (or maybe the reader) who they were by saying each other’s names in every second sentence. I found it very disappointing and frustrating.

Stupid stupid story. The MC was a dull as a doorknob. She laid by the pool or go to a restaurant by her self. Her BFF was so much more vivacious and interesting and she had 3 pages in the 200 pages I gagged thru reading (DNF). Stupidest concept ever. Zero stars.

I like all types of Romance but never thought I would love one about Historical Time Travel but I did, it did take me a little time to get into the story but once I did I was hooked.

Who knew going through a Knot Hole would lead to some Amazing Adventures, new friends, old friends, past and present Loves, some really happy exciting times and some not so happy but there's a whole lot more going on in this fabulous read.

As children Taryn and her sister Caroline were told some incredulous stories by their Mother and Taryn learns that these stories are indeed real.

Taryn has some Amazing adventures of her own and I felt like I was there with her and I went through so many different emotions reading this book, there's some really deep passionate love, some very engaging sexual connections, heart-wrenching Poignant times and I have to admit that I shed a tear or two but all in all I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

A very well written and detailed timeless romance, I loved it and will be reading book 2
The Passage as soon as I can.

What a treat to read. I loved the way the story unfolded, weaving the memories of her mother in with the present day. It's not often a storyteller finds the link and explains a tiny nuance so well that you accept it hook, line and sinker!

Love - holding out for love, true love, passionate all consuming love is at the core of the story. I loved how it was used to make me believe,... better yet, make me WANT to believe. Read this book!

Two in one

This is two stories sort of connected, one a dream world and one reality(?) but both totally weird. Long descriptions of events but little conversation. Really could not get excited about this.

The worst book I've ever read!

Can't believe she's an award winning author. No character development, jumps from one point of view to another at the drop of a hat, sex scenes not necessary for story line, dialogue is appropriate for a 40-year-old, not a 24-year-old.

The Knot Hole was a wonderful book that really made me feel like a more creative person just by following the story. I loved the spirituality and the romance that pervaded the story and how it really illustrated the enormous power of love. For me this tale really encompassed every level of love from universal love to romantic love. The book kept me turning page after page without break, which is what I love about good books like this one. The romance in this book is unforgettable, and the touching effect it has on the spirit really overwhelmed me. So far I have been loving everything this author has pointed out since I discovered her books.
