Before I review the individual stories I must say this boxed set has my name written ALL OVER IT! Come on, people...it's a ménage anthology by my fave auto-buy aussie romance authors. How can I not want to read this? Well I did want to, so badly I pre-ordered it, downloaded it on release day and started reading it the next day (only because I had another book to finish reading first). These 4 authors couldn't have found a better title than DOWN AND DIRTY! Individually they heat up the pages and put together they should come with a warning: read at own risk as overheating and spontaneous combustion may occur! All four stories have a ménage theme, yet all of them are uniquely different as they convey each author's uniquely honed style.
Warning: if you love ménage romances this book is a hazard to you body temperature and your panties!
Burning Up - Sami Lee

This was a ménage with a heroine in the sanwiched between one man she has an antagonistic relationship with including the trading of insults (Steve) and another who is much younger than she is (Rob). I couldn't be happier with this premise. The premise took a bit of an unexpected turn but to be honest I liked that turn as deep down I was rooting for the outcome that Sami Lee gave us.
I have one small complaint: it was too short! Would have loved to read a lot more about these characters! I really love Sami Lee's writing. Her books are very hot but always classy and though she doesn't mince words it never turns crass.
Memorable Scene:
- the one with the three of them in Corey's room at the party > Spontaneous combustion in 3...2...1!

Yay! Another 'Heart of Fame' story and double YAY, Bethany from GUARDED DESIRES is the heroine. I'd been hoping for her story ever since I read that book. Many readers didn't like the role she played in the story but I did and I'm thrilled to read her own story now.
An uncertain and introvert nerd, a confident and compassionate jock and a feisty and brave PA comprise this ménage story. While it sounds like the beginning of a corny joke (there's even a bar), it's far from that. This is one red-hot ménage story that set my e-reader on fire!
Lexxie Couper never fails to please with her scorching and heartfelt stories. As with the first story the outcome wasn't exactly what I expected but it totally worked.

- the one with Australia's national anthem > You'll know why when you read it

Book 1 in a new Jess Dee series and I'm already hooked and craving more in this series. The group of friends that have a monthly Sunday night dinner captured my attention from the start with their easy banter and teasing. The humor in this book was awesome. Not only in the group of friends but also between Chelsea, Spencer and Levi in any given combination.
Once again Jess Dee writes a carnal and emotion-filled ménage that's sexy as hell and doesn't take the easy road. I loved everything about this novella! EVERYTHING! Contrary to the first 2 stories in this collection this one did have the ending I was hoping for but I could have read on forever about Chelsea, Spencer and Levi!
Memorable Scenes:
- the one with Spencer and Chelsea on the stool > Oh my, that was hot
- the one with the actual threesome > you need a fan, a cooling pack and a huge icecold drink with that?

I must confess I beta-read this story a while back. Second time around it was just as awesome, if not more as I now read it as a reader, for fun! PASS THE PARCEL is a super sexy and enotional story that kept me enthralled from start to finish. The two men were sexy and dirty but also caring and sweet. The heroine was scared but brave and I loved how she embraced her sexuality but took her time and distance to let it all sink in.
I loved that Rhian's story differed from the others in that both men are familiar with ménages and they work together from the start to get Kitty on board instead of accepting the sharing as a way not to lose the woman or going for a one-time threesome. I shouldn't pick favorites so don't tell anyone but Rhian Cahill's was my favorite of the 4 stories.

The bath tub scene > so freaking hot!

So often with bundle deals, you find that you already read a story in them and likely own some of the others as well or you only plan to read one or two of the lot, but not with this one guys! These four Australian authors sure know how to heat things up for your summer beach reading with four never released stories.
Holy smokes, this was a fantastic little bundle of naughtiness for such a great price, and I will tell you that I enjoyed every single minute of it! I literally couldn’t put it down. Each book features a sexy as sin ménage relationship that will leave your e-reader up in flames by the time you are done. Now since I’m a big lover of ménage stories, I already knew this bundle was going to be a hot read, but they even managed to surpass my expectations with this one. My only complaint is that I never wanted it to end! I will absolutely be rereading this one in the near future. If you haven’t read anything from these very talented ladies, then this bundle is the perfect intro to their writing and I promise you will want to devour everything else they have out as well!

I love, love, love this anthology! I was happy to find out all four books are brand new, never published books. My favorite Aussies in the world combined their super writer powers to bring you some of the hottest men in the outback-ok they aren't really in the outback but whatever. This anthology kept me glued to my iPad until I finished the whole thing and wanted to start all over again. Each book includes a super sexy ménage that will have you wishing for two men to come put out the flames! Each story also comes complete with a happy ending-haha that wasn't exactly what I meant but it works. For me four stories in an anthology is perfect. Each of the stories don't take too long to read so you don't feel like you are reading a book that will never end. The characters in all four books were compelling (especially that Kitty girl *huge grin*) and you will want nothing more than to see them happy and feeling loved. And as if you need any added incentive it's only 99 CENTS!! *sorry if the price changes by the time you read this review*

Wow. Talk about hot. I read this in one sitting. All four stories. Loved them all. I'm definitely looking up these ladies to find more. I also loved that they all "worked out". I love me my HEA. I would love to read more about these characters also. :)

Definitely my favorite anthology, based on what it is at least.
I will say the the last story by Rhian Cahill (crazy hot) has prompted me to create a "loathed heroines" shelf. I wanted to slap that girl.....And steal her men. ;)

Out of all 4 stories, I liked Sami Lee's story the best. I had no idea it was a continuation (of sorts) of Erica's Choice.

Very entertaining. The sex is pretty hot over all but the last story has the best bang for the buck. Those boys are really down and dirty with no inhibitions to be seen.

I was absolutely thrilled when I found out my favorite Aussie authors were releasing the Down and Dirty boxed set with four brand new ménage stories. I always know I'm going to get a great story and I was not disappointed. All the stories were bloody awesome!!!
Burning Up by Sami Lee is connected to Erica's Choice, my favorite book by this author and I loved the characters of Pam, Steve and Rob. I enjoyed Steve and Pam's relationship immensely because underneath all the teasing, snide remarks, there was a sexual tension that couldn't be ignored. I liked that Rob was in the picture to help Pam notice the differences between the two men and finally realize her true feelings for Steve. Of course, the sex scenes between the threesome didn't hurt either since they were smokin' hot. It was also nice to see Erica, Cody and Griff again. A quick, sexy and hot story that hit the right spot.

Logan and Curtis are best buddies who have captured her heart and body and boy, she really surprised them when she let them know her intentions. I chuckled at their reaction and then soon found myself swooning and panting. I loved how quiet Logan became the aggressive one in their threesome sex scenes and that outgoing Curtis would defer to his best buddy. This made him even sexier in my eyes. The author did a brilliant job getting these three together and I so wanted more.
Sunday Night Dinner Club by Jess Dee is the beginning of a new series and what a terrific start. I loved the main characters of Spencer, Chelsea and Levi, but I actually found myself a bit torn at first on whether I wanted all three of them together. I adored Spencer right from the start, maybe it had something to do with him being an Accountant, lol :) Of course, that soon passed as I love when best friends share the same woman. The sex scenes were scorching hot and I enjoyed the fact that Spencer and Levi were able to discuss their feelings for Chelsea with each other. I also liked that this story introduced secondary characters who are long-time friends and I loved the close friendship that was portrayed and the fun bantering. I am really looking forward to all the stories in this series.

I loved that the heroine was inspired by real life reader, Kitty Kelly and that she got to have hot sex with her two bosses, Ethan and Finn. Their relationship made sense as real feelings actually existed; Ethan and Finn cared for Kelly's well-being and always made sure she was ok as they were biding their time to take the next step. Kelly also had feelings for them and she had to overcome her insecurities and make her move. I loved that she was brave enough to get out of her comfort zone and go after what she wanted. OMG! The sex scenes between these three were hot, hot, hot...I think they burned up my screen *fans self* I also enjoyed the close friendship between Ethan and Finn and that they were in this together. The author did a great job incorporating this story into her existing series.

The sex scenes between these three were hot, hot, hot...I think they burned up my screen *fans self* I also enjoyed the close friendship between Ethan and Finn and that they were in this together. The author did a great job incorporating this story into her existing series.
Burning Up by Sami Lee is connected to Erica's Choice, my favorite book by this author and I loved the characters of Pam, Steve and Rob. I enjoyed Steve and Pam's relationship immensely because underneath all the teasing, snide remarks, there was a sexual tension that couldn't be ignored. I liked that Rob was in the picture to help Pam notice the differences between the two men and finally realize her true feelings for Steve. Of course, the sex scenes between the threesome didn't hurt either since they were smokin' hot. It was also nice to see Erica, Cody and Griff again. A quick, sexy and hot story that hit the right spot.
Compliance by Lexxie Couper is the story I've been dying to read ever since I read Guarded Desires and met Bethany. I've been wanting her to get her own story and now she has two sexy guys to meet her needs. I've always loved how strong Bethany was and not afraid to take action. Logan and Curtis are best buddies who have captured her heart and body and boy, she really surprised them when she let them know her intentions. I chuckled at their reaction and then soon found myself swooning and panting. I loved how quiet Logan became the aggressive one in their threesome sex scenes and that outgoing Curtis would defer to his best buddy. This made him even sexier in my eyes. The author did a brilliant job getting these three together and I so wanted more.
Sunday Night Dinner Club by Jess Dee is the beginning of a new series and what a terrific start. I loved the main characters of Spencer, Chelsea and Levi, but I actually found myself a bit torn at first on whether I wanted all three of them together. I adored Spencer right from the start, maybe it had something to do with him being an Accountant, lol :) Of course, that soon passed as I love when best friends share the same woman. The sex scenes were scorching hot and I enjoyed the fact that Spencer and Levi were able to discuss their feelings for Chelsea with each other. I also liked that this story introduced secondary characters who are long-time friends and I loved the close friendship that was portrayed and the fun bantering. I am really looking forward to all the stories in this series.
Pass the Parcel by Rhian Cahill is also connected to the Party Game series, another one of my favorites. I loved that the heroine was inspired by real life reader, Kitty Kelly and that she got to have hot sex with her two bosses, Ethan and Finn. I was absolutely thrilled when I found out my favorite Aussie authors were releasing the Down and Dirty boxed set with four brand new ménage stories. I always know I'm going to get a great story and I was not disappointed. All the stories were bloody awesome!!!

I enjoyed reading these stories although they seemed a little unrealistic to me. I don't really know anyone who could be permanently in a three some relationship but it was an entertaining read.

these stories are short, the whole box set is just shy of 400 pages, but they pack a punch.
The thing i will say, the first two books have scenes with all three main characters, BUT its very obvious that these scenes will be a one time only thing. The female in each book has a substantial "thing" for one main male character.
the other two books, its very clear that these will NOT be one time only things!
I am a big fan of multi partner books, and these, for the length they are and the price this set is, are a darn good deal. Nothing too complicated, or brain taxing, just hot steamy stories!
If you havent read any multi partner stories before, this would be a good set to try it!

As a menage fan I absolutely loved this box set. Four wonderfully written novels, with distinct and believable storylines, and characters that are easy to love and relate to. The books were the perfect length without leaving out any information, as the reader you are able to dive right in and get the relationship and understand how the characters are feeling. The hotness factor was very high and I loved these stories! I have found each author on Facebook and have already looked and purchased more books written by them. I wonder what is in the Aussie water that makes them such great writers?

Closer to 3-1/2 stars. Enjoyable stories and sexy, but honestly not something I’m going to remember after a while. It was an anthology, and the authors did a good job of building the characters prior to them hopping into their respective threesomes. For the most part, there was just one “joining” per trio before one story ended and the next story started. But they were all sweet stories. All of them were m/f/m. Some, the girl ended up with one of the guys, and some she ended up with both. Like I said, entertaining stories, but none of them were super deep.

4 hot reads, what's not to love?
I was pleasantly surprised by this anthology. Anthologies in general tend to be iffy, add in the menage/erotica element, and you typically have to lower your standards; that wasn't so with this collection. I was happy there was decent writing, good characters, good storylines, and EDITING! Add in the hot sex, and you've definitely got a book worth reading. I plan to look into other books by these authors as well, I'd definitely recommend this anthology if you like m/f/m stories.

Everyone of these stars is for Sami Lee's Burning Up. This was sexy, romantic, and interesting. I wanted to spend more time in this world!
I also didn't mind Compliance by Lexxie Couper, however I didn't buy into the HEA, maybe because Logan and Bethany only knew each other for 14 days, unlike Steve and Pam in Burning Up.
I couldn't get into the other 2 books, I found the dialogue stilted.

It was rather nice. I do like all the characters and it was well written. Nothing negative to as about it other than the DP scene I felt was rushed and could have been a bit more descriptive. As other things were more descriptive. Penises for one thing were very descriptive. I can happily say. I liked it. Nice is such an un descriptive word but I felt it was perfect for this story. Oh my damn....word of advice before you start reading these make sure your able to get to someplace cold!!! Like a walk in freezer or something!!!! This book was hot...no that's not what I wanted to say. This book is HOT!!!! If you see smoke rising off of it don't say I didn't warn you!!
