Christians and Strongholds
Sometimes our behavior patterns and thought process stem from issues in our lives such as hurt, anger, bitterness, jealousy, resentment and pride. Many times we are taught to just "pray through" or deal with, and push these symptoms into the corner of our minds while never get to the root of the issues. While we are busy trying to cure or justify symptoms, stone upon stone, the walls of internal bondage are being built...as spiritual strongholds are constructed. Most of the time we do not even recognize what is happening because we are so overly controlled by our emotions. Through the pages of this book, may the Lord Jesus reveal to you the truth and responsibility you need to grasp ... and actually receive freedom ... God's way.

Educational
This book opens your eyes like never before. It is good fora new Christian or a veterian Christian. The testimonies and personal revelations along with scriptures is completely captivating. I plan to utilize what I have read for surely I have encountered God in this book. I will reread this book over and over as a reminder of the freedom I can have by overcoming strongholds in my life.

A Must Read For Christians
This is probably the most important book, other than the Bible that I have read. The author is so open and honest with her own struggles and how God helped her.

Incredible read for anyone searching for reasons why you're battling the same battles!! Kim gives us an in depth study of strongholds and how to live an overcoming life according to Scripture. Life changing book!!!

A Gem of a Book on Defeating Spiritual Warfare
Kim Haney lays everything on the line in her book Christians & Strongholds. One can only walk away with admiration of her honesty & bravery to risk being labeled a spiritual "basket case" by allowing the reader to witness the storms and tsunami's swirling within her broken heart due to jealously, bitterness and pride.
However, that risk quickly evaporates as she walks the reader through her painful and determined efforts to be a victor over these satan-fueled spirits (and manifested strongholds) and live an overcoming life before the God she so obviously loves.
Most in Pentecost are quite familiar with the Haney family and church in Stockton, CA. It was an eyeopener for me (who was not raised in an Apostolic background) to learn that even those holding positions high up in God's spiritual hierarchy are subject "to like passions as we are" and battle the fiercest battles of the mind. Kim's humility and openness in this arena is an encouragement to us all! It was for me.
I only wish the book was available in hardcopy format. It makes for a valued gift for family or friends.

A Valuable Tool
This is a book every Christian should have in their library. I plan to add it to my annual reread list. I highly recommend it for someone who has a past history of abuse to help them understand their struggles and to open power of the Word of God in relationship to their deliverance. A valuable book for a soul winner. The author has spent much time delivering her soul in this writing. Principles are given here to help one establish a firm foundation for a successful Christian walk.

An extremely powerful book on taking every thought captive, speaking scripture aloud, and tearing down strongholds. Every book Kim writes speaks to my heart. I’ve had to put this book down multiple times and go into prayer because of the convection I’ve felt!

Very powerful book! An incredible reminder about how we should live, acting and responding in our lives lived for Christ! Great tools to overcome! I believe every Christian should read this book.
