Headlining in his family’s magic show in Las Vegas, Max Dalton leads the life of a playboy, never spending too much time with any one woman, never becoming attached. Now that his identical twin brother Rhys and his wife Melina are married and expecting twins, Max starts to want more out of life, and longs for someone to see past the mask that he has worn to protect his heart.
How often had his family and friends referred to him as “Max, the fun one”? “Max, the chick magnet.” “Max, the charmer.” They never spoke of his intelligence or his ambition, or his ability to care about others.

Grace Sinclair is one of Melina’s best friends and has met Max several times. Knowing about his playboy lifestyle, Grace seeks Max out to help her with her problem – she has never been able to find release with a man before. What Grace doesn’t know is that Max has felt an attraction toward her since he first met her, but has never made a move on her out of respect for his sister-in-law Melina. When Grace asks Max for help, he is only too willing to offer his assistance.
“I think you’re beautiful. You turn me on more than any woman has in a long, long time. I need this, Dixie, just as much as you need it. Something’s been missing from my life. I don’t know what it is, but what I do know is the idea of being with you, and yes, the idea of proving to you there’s not one damn thing wrong with you, has me jazzed up in a big way. Has me excited. Very excited.”

As Max and Grace get to know one another, Max quickly determines what the root of Grace’s problem may be.
“Because now I’m beginning to understand the reason you came to me the other night isn’t because of my reputation as a playboy, but as a bad boy.”
“What does that mean?”
“It means you giving up control isn’t what you need, Grace. Me taking it away from you is.”

What starts off as a casual arrangement quickly grows into more when Grace begins to see the man behind the mask and realizes that Max might be able to offer her something else she craves – a family.
All Grace truly knew was she was lonely. Her parents had both been only children, whose own parents died before Grace was born. No parents, no grandparents, no aunts, no uncles, cousins, second cousins – nothing.

But Max and Grace are both battling with issues from their past, and when the added stress from both their pasts come back to haunt them, coupled with Max’s celebrity status, will Grace and Max be able to find their happy ever after?

This is the second installment of the Dalton Brother’s series and we met both Max and Grace in book 1, This Magic Moment. Max and Grace are both wonderful characters, each fighting demons from their past. Max was burned early with love and has protected himself by living a playboy, carefree lifestyle. Grace was an only child whose parents died when she was young. She has always longed for a life that she has defined as “normal”, but her inability to reconcile her true personality with what she considers normal has created all sorts of stress in her life.

I loved Max and his sexy, dirty talk. His ability to both shock Grace with what comes out of his mouth yet also put her at ease was wonderful. His love for his family and the vulnerability he shows when he is around them was sweet, which only made him that much more endearing – and if Grace didn’t want to take a chance on him, I would certainly step up in her place!

Grace’s southern persona was great – I loved her drawl! It was great the Max saw right through her when she used that drawl to put up her own front. Her fight to fit into the box she had labeled as “normal” really hit home, because it is something we all tend to do in life – try to be/do/act/say the way we think that “normal” people would.

I loved that both characters didn't spend too much time hiding from their feelings and were willing to put themselves out there to each other. And even when they were both hiding who they truly were, they were both able to see through each other's masks and find the real person beneath all the layers.

This was such a great read that was so much more than a love story!

Bedding the Bad Boy was even better than the first book of the Bedding the Bachelors series. With this series you just get a comfortable read without all kinds of unnecessary angst and drama.

Max was misunderstood and it held him back in so many ways. He was never convinced that he could have the family and forever love because everyone always told him he was the fun womanizer. All he really wanted was a woman to believe in and see the real him.

Grace wants a family more than anything. So much so she has decided to use a service that would hook her up with a surrogate. They would create a baby and co-parent but never have any kind of relationship. She's given up on any kind of forever after. I mean she has never even had an orgasm with a man. So, she's decided to give up on counting on a man for anything. She has decided to take control of her life and make her dreams of a family come true.

Max challenged Grace to let him show her how a man could really pleasure a woman. And if he could change her mind to go into starting a family by route of contracts and business deal that would be all the better. He saw the real Grace and knew she was selling herself short. He didn't bargain for her returning the favor and seeing the real him. I loved this relationship. Max was so patient with Grace and so hot!!! He also opened himself up and made himself really vulnerable which was refreshing to read.

A fun romp with a good girl who acts bad getting together with a bad boy who acts good. Grace and Max are a great couple, full of spice but definitely crazy about each other on an emotional level, too. I liked both of them, and it was nice to see Melina and Rhys progressing with their story. Can't wait to read book three!

I loved the first book. Sad to say, not this one. It started out okay. Seemed like the plot would be good. The heroine's accent annoyed me and the hero's nickname for her annoyed me, but I thought it was going to be an okay story. I just wasn't feeling a connection between the hero and heroine. Why did they want each other? I wasn't feeling the emotions that I needed to feel to believe that these two characters were in love. All I felt was that they had a mutual wish to start a family. The love scenes were hot, but just hot love scenes and both wanting a family doesn't mean two people love each other.

The heroine also had a habit of making, what in my opinion, were immature decisions. And then when she took off near the end of the book, and just left the hero without a note or anything for the flimsiest of reasons...well that just took a book that started off as 3 stars, and had slowly worked its way down to 2 stars, straight down to one. I mean if she just calls it quits that easily, the hero should have breathed a sigh of relief that he dodged a bullet and a future date in divorce court.

If there is a third book in the series, I'm not sure if I'll try it or not.

**This was a freebie on Amazon**

I enjoyed Bedding The Bad Boy better than its predecessor, Bedding The Wrong Brother. We finally get to see why Max did what he did to his brother and Melina all those years ago. And discover he isn't the man everyone assumes he is.

Grace has a sexual issue that she wants help with, and with Max's reputation she thinks him to be the perfect candidate to assist her, but courage to follow through with something is a little more difficult than she'd like to admit.

Breaking down each other's walls, Max and Grace discover neither are the people they project and what lies underneath is even more perfect. It's also quite interesting...hello pole dancing!

This was a great book and I enjoyed how all the same characters from the first book were still active participants in the storyline.

Sweet

Max is a magician and Grace works at a university but is on leave pending a hearing. Grace has had an orgasm with a man. She thinks Max can give it to her. When a misunderstanding happens, she decides to go with plan B and have a baby without the fuss of romance & love. Max is out to prove to her that he is more than playboy and is in it for the long run.
This will have your fanning your face to cool off. I loved Grace and her southern accent and sayings. You will not be disappointed.

Looks can be deceiving. For Max his persona precedes him. It's that persona that draws Grace to seek his help with an issue. Grace keeps chasing the elusive O. Will Max help her finally find it? Or will she continue to chase after something in reach
I enjoyed this book better than the first one. Max is definatley on my list of favorite male characters. I was sad that the book didn't go on. I wanted more of Max and Grace.
The audiobook was great. The narrator kept the southern accent of Grace was consistent. This author and the narrator work well together.

4,5⭐️ !!!!

Oof, I did not enjoy this book. First off, I'm not a fan of phonetic spelling for accents, it just doesn't work for me and the author did that a lot for Grace. Personally, I feel like saying they have an accent is a enough and if you really need to drive it home, pick a single word at some point in time and just explain how she says it, rather than at random (literally at random) putting an accent on a word in one paragraph, and then not again in the 2nd. I also didn't feel any chemistry between Max and Grace, it felt like they were just pushed together because the three girls are obviously going to get books and since Rhys is a twin, it makes sense his brother would get a book too. It didn't work.

Grace made no sense, in the first book she seemed fairly level headed but this book came around and she was literally like . Made no sense whatsoever to go from one to the other and she came off as insanely immature. She's really what dragged this book down for me.

Then you have Max, who actually is likable and wants a real relationship and family and picket fence and is too scared to ask for it because every assumes he doesn't want any of that.

Every conflict in this book could have been avoided or solved by just communicating like adults, but unfortunately neither Max or Grace were capable of that. I've already started the next book and it's so much better, so I have hope for the rest of the series and will continue reading, but for those just starting out... you can skip this book.

This is story of playboy Max and Grace . Identical twin and Las Vegas performer Max Dalton has always been the number one bad boy in his family, and he's is always the ladies man and like to have a night with women everytime he find a new one in new city as fame that comes along with his reputation an work make him connect to audience and people. Now, with his brother Rhys married to the love of his life and expecting a family of his own, Max sees what being a playboy has cost him.

Grace Sinclair a teacher in school is facing a tough time because of false allegations of a child who had a major crush on her and she doesn't reciprocate same feelings as him .Now investigation is going on and she is on a mission when she comes to Vegas, one that involves asking Max, her best friend's brother-in-law, to give her the pleasure no man's ever been able to gave her and she also in search of boy to settle down for good in life.

She suspects Max has more layers than he lets people see, even she offers submission to him her body. Max can give her sex she wants, but not commitment of marriage and her own family. If Max doesn't agree is going to search eligible partner for her and that make Max jealous and they start a relationship which turn to love sooner than expected

Max & Grace

Now that Max’s identical twin Rhys is married with twins of his own on the way, Rhys has pulled back into a more management role with respect to their shared magical act. Fortunately, their act has found a permanent home in Vegas, so Uncle Max can be an active part of his future nieces & nephews’ lives.

One of Melina’s besties, who knew all about Melina’s request that Max teach her how to please a man, has apparently set her sights on Max for the same duty. (Max played the twin switch with his brother Rhys when it came to Melina, as they had been mutually crushing on each other since Melina was 14.)

Grace is fairly confident in her ability to please a man. Her problem is that she’s never been able to orgasm with a man. And if anyone could possibly end that streak it’s Max. Luckily, Max is just as interested in Grace as Grace is in him, if only a tad hurt to be only desired for his sexual prowess. Despite always being more of a player than Rhys, Max wants what his brother has, a wife and a family.

Grace Sinclair and Max Dalton have been casual acquaintances for years. Both have had heated thoughts about each other that they never put into play, at least until now when Grace proposes a chance for Max to become more than just someone she knows casually.

What of course started out as a quest to help his sister-in-laws best friend soon has Max feeling and wanting certain things he had thought cut out of his life years ago.Things that Grace may or may not be feeling as well but he is driven to take the chance all the while hoping he does not crash and burn.

An almost friends-to-lovers romance that is both as easy to relate to as it is easy to understand both the pros and cons Grace and Max must weigh while taking a chance on falling in love with each other.

Read this second book out of order but am now reading book 1 so am able to get up to speed on what happened with Melina and Rhys as their relationship starting point was only hinted at in this one.

Well written, but basically too long for a story that doesn't develop its characters.
Both decide that they have the hots for one another, and then the woman _ yeah, don't remember her name _ decides to follow some sort of potato logic...

As if things weren't already awkward she then decides to go full soap opera.
Basically skimmed a lot of pages and I'm probably done with this series.

The second in the series and I’m still loving it. After reading the previous I was so looking forward to reading Max’s story and it didn’t disappoint. Him and Grace makes a good read. They both have insecurities carried over from their past but the two of them together complement each other. Love the blend in and updates of the other characters especially Rhys and Melina. Looking forward to reading the next.

Max and Grace’s story is a fun, enterating read. I found them to be intriguing, relatable, captivating characters. Their romance was a roller coaster ride that I enjoyed reading. I love that we got to see so much of the previous couple in the series in this book during their HEA. I enjoyed the the role that both family and friendships played in this story.

I enjoyed the audio version of this book and the narrator.

The conflict kind of bothered me and while I appreciate that Grace worked through the fact that wanting kink (like, light kink) didn't make her abnormal in some way, it was also really annoying to read a romance novel in 2018 that has the thought process at all that wanting consensual kink is weird. But I really liked Max and Grace as characters.

Oh, I loved it! I loved Grace or “Dixie” as Max or “Honey” called her! They were both such interesting people and if you are like me, you’re going to think why don’t they realize how much they love each other. But, I went along for the ride and loved it when they found each other! If you want to read a sensitive, warm & sexy book then this is it! Hold on!

Sorry, but....

I do like this series but Grace’s character in this book drove me up the wall with her negativity, too shallow for my liking. Finished the book because I couldn’t let Max not find his happiness. Moving on to the next one, like I said I like the series.
