The story I read was Skate Park Challenge. The story is about a kid named Nick Jackson and his friend Josh Abernathy. They like to skate. One day a bully named Brandon Through sand where Nick was skating. Nick fell and broke is wrist. The genre of this story is fiction. Think this book is awesome to read. It was easy.
The main characters of the story are Nick, Josh, and Brandon the bully. Nick and Josh were skating in the park. Brandon came to the park and through sand were Nick was skating. Nick fell and broke his wrist. Nick and Josh wanted to be in a competition. The competition will see the state who is the best skater. Nick and Josh were practicing for the competition. They watch a movie about skaters. Nick wanted to do one of the tricks in the competition. In the end of the story Nick did the new trick and got first place. Josh got second place and Brandon got third place.
The setting of the story takes place in the middle of summer. Also in the park and at Nick's house. The conflct of the book is two boys want to show the state that they are the best skaters in the state. The major theme of the story is skaters show that they are the best in the state.
In the story two boys want to show people that they are the best skaters in the state. The two boys practice and learned new tricks. My opinion is the I think this book is easy and stort to read. This story is great to read.
I wouls give this story five stars. I gave it five stars, because it is short. It is easy to read and it is great for people that want to read book fast. People that can not read that good. I think people are going to like this book.

what i really like about like about this story because it explains the story well. and i recommend this book to people who like skating and in this book talks a lot about safety when you go out to skate. and in real life people don't really like wearing guards to protect your body. and in this book is good because its talking about what happens if you don't wear body guards for people to skate and you could even brake a bone for no wearing safety stuff when you skate . and in my opinion this story was good.

Solid first chapter book. Boy protagonist. The book contains a glossary of terms at the end, information on skate board care as well as discussion questions and prompts. The Jake Maddox series is a good option for kids advancing to chapter books and are interested in relatable sports stories.

this book is about a boy who likes skating alot. The boy is going to enter a skating contest. But another boy threw rocks at im while he was skating and he broke his rist and skateboard.
