Our Review, by LITERAL ADDICTION's Pack Alpha - Chelle: *Copy gifted in exchange for an honest review
A Leopard's Path was my first foray into Ashwood Falls and I have to say, I'm a little bit hooked. With that said, ALP can be read as a standalone, BUT... I definitely feel that it would be enjoyed even more if you knew a bit more about Ana and Kieran's history and those of the Pack members around them and what led up to the start of A Leopard's Path when Ana ends up at Ashwood.
Stolen from her true family as an infant, Ana was raised with the crazy Alpha of the Onyx Pack. In A Leopard's Path, you will get hints of what happened in previous books - the Onyx Pack was destroyed, Felix set out in search of his mate, Ana's adoptive sister sets out on her own, etc.
Ana and Kieran obviously have some major history. While I didn't know it all going in, I could feel the heartache, and even as a first time reader, wanted nothing more than Ana and Kieran's happily ever after. They certainly fight for it, and those who have been with them on their entire journey will no double adore this book even more than those, who like me, were just getting to know them.
Outside of Ana and Kieran's romance, the story is action-packed as the Pack sets out to defend against an enemy set on their destruction for a long time. There's plenty of tension and you can't help but sit on the edge of your seat and root for the good guys.
Ashwood Falls fans will no doubt be completely won over by A Leopard's Path, but I think that new readers will find it utterly enjoyable, as well, and want more from this intriguing and beguiling world.
Wow seems awhile since I have been back to Ashwood Falls so looked forward to what was to come next. In a excellent series it is hard waiting for the next one but then too you get to see the growth and expanse of some of your favorite while meeting new too. Featured in this installment is Ana and Kieran. They are supposed to be mates, the passion is there but hesitation seems to be the order of the day. Also the unthinkable has happened and terror has escaped. This author takes you on a wonderful journey with these two while also gearing for battle against a threat that could destroy many. A son also enters in for protection, wise beyond his years. So many elements in this story that keep you teetering on the edge of your seat but also melting with the fire that burns between Ana and Kieran. I so did enjoy how she turns the tables on him, never underestimate a woman. Ana will also have many discoveries that she will see that truly she is at home. The parts with her sister are also a welcome addition that blends so well with the rest of what is going on. Ah the Alpha to will come to realization that thanks to his stubbornness seems like it had to hit him on the head. One truly agonizing moment though when at first you think all is lost for Ana but love leads the way. Wide range of emotions will truly be used while reading this one but the best part is when she is given the honor of her place in the pack with also love and freedom at last. Received a copy for a honest review.
Ana Darwin-Andrews’ whole life has been a lie and now there is only one man she feels she can trust but his secrets are keeping them apart in this spellbinding paranormal romance.
The past has a serious hold on this captivating couple and the emotional impact that it has on their mating grips the heart and the reader can’t help but get caught up in Ana and Kieran’s romance as they fight for their happiness. Their desire for each other is certainly not in question and the heat is sizzling, but both has secrets left over from the past that not only play a part in the happenings of the pack and has Kieran holding back. The fast paced and smooth flowing plot enthralls readers with suspense, turmoil, excitement and romance while the fascinating Ashwood Falls Pack draws readers in and invites them stay.
Excitement and tension builds as the pack becomes aware that an old enemy has returned and teamed up with Felix and the past causes targets to be painted on Ana and Kieran’s backs. Vivid imagery brings this story to life with well written scenes and details that capture the imagination while the suspense ensures that there is never a dull moment.
Once again, the Ashwood Falls Pack is under attack and I was completely bewitched by Ana and Kieran’s story, although I do wish that it had been longer because I wasn’t ready to say goodnight…oh well, it’s a good thing I can visit them again and just let me say – Ana rocks!
4.5 Stars The story of (mainly) Ana (Zorana) and Kieran. I must admit that at the beginning, I was confused. This was my first book in this series, and therefore, I felt very lost. It seemed as though tons of names were coming at me, and I did not understand the ways that all the characters fit together (without wanting to go to the start of the book and looking over the list of names and their short introductions - there is a table before the story begins). However, the longer that I read, things did become clear. I enjoyed the story and the chemistry of the main couple. I am sure that prior series readers would enjoy the updates on previous books' couples as well. I loved the action sequences, and felt as though the author set up nicely for the next book(s) in the series! I especially look forward to a book for Sable and Jared! A lovely shifter book that I highly recommend!
This book will be so much better if you have read the earlier ones in this series. Ana was stolen away as a baby and raised in the enemy camp. She has recently come home to her true father and family. Along with her came the spy who is her true mate but for some reason he is putting off their mating and she has about had it. Sure there is a war going on and she has yet to reveal all that she can do but she is only following the paths she was raised with. She may never truly fit in but mating with Kieran could only help right? This wasn’t my favorite of the Ashwood Falls books but it wasn’t bad either. I like Ana but Kieran didn’t do a whole lot for me. I really want Jareds book and this sets that up; hopefully soon.
This is book eight of the Shifters of Ashwood Falls series and brings together fated mates Ana Darwin-Andrews and Kieran Michaels, a former spy for the Ashwood pack, spying on Felix and the Onyx pack. Ana was stolen from her mother’s womb by Felix, the evil alpha of the Onyx pack and raised as his own daughter. Her birth father Keegan was the alpha of the Ashwood pack and almost died when his mate killed herself a few months after this event, having been feeding Felix information for months, but only because he had her under his dark magic. It took thirty seven years before Keegan found out she was actually alive and she managed to escape Felix’s grip. She still doesn’t feel a true part of this family and pack she has never known, but at least she can feel that Kieran is hers. But he is a bit reluctant to allow her in, as he has secrets he has kept from most of the pack and which Felix could reveal to his fated mate which could ruin his chances of completing the mating bond with Ana. Ana herself had been killing rogues and mutants of Felix’s making since she was eighteen, in secret so he wouldn’t find out. His real daughter Sable was her best friend and confidant, and Sable was also building a group opposed to his rule within the pack.
They face more dangers from Felix, after his mate and Sable’s birth mother Savannah, awakens from the spell that kept her locked away and asleep for some two hundred years. She is extremely powerful with dark magic and is out to get all those who locked her away initially and see them dead! She needs Felix to help her find out their weaknesses and where to attack them for the most effect. Felix and Savannah also want their daughter Sable back, thinking they can twist her to their mindset. But Sable is more interested in keeping her son Nigel safe, now she had escaped Felix’s clasp. Unfortunately, her shared magic from her mother, means they can easily figure out where she is. All she can do is send Nigel to his father Jared at the Ashwood pack, who he had been told was dead! Ana and Torin are not going to find their chance of a mating dance to be easy with all these additional issues on their doorstep and involving their current and previous packs! They both need to reveal their secrets to the other before they can truly mate and then they will be unstoppable, especially as the magic Ana got from her sister Sable has been unleashed. Another exciting story in the series with another baddie added to the storyline and bringing new dangers to them all. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.
Kieran needed his mate, Ana. So many things have kept them apart
Ana grew up in the Onyx pack. Stolen away from her rightful family. Her step sister, Sable kept her safe. As well as some others, including Kieran. Her ever growing hate for her "father" Felix, spurred her to go to Ashwood. Meeting her real family with Kieran at her side. Kieran knew her was his mate, he had his own secrets and this war with Felix and the mutants. He was overwhelmed by decisions. Keeping Ana at a distance was hurting them. He loved her, yet mating would set things in motion. How could he protect her like that? Ana was a strong female, just maybe things could straighten out. Sable's mother was awoken! A powerful witch, Felix would get to her soon, being his mate. Together, they were a powerful dark couple. Power hungry and ruthless, the only answer is to be stronger. Connecting forces and fight as one.
Zorana aka Ana was raised by the rogue pack. Kieran is a spy sent to infiltrate the pack. They know they are drawn to one another but can they learn to trust in one another and can Ana accept the love of her new found family.
For Ana this runs deep as she discovers the foundation of her life was built upon lies as she was stolen from Keegan as a newborn baby. Kieran has so many secrets that he must share with Ana if they ar ever to begin and complete the mating dance.
Another awesome story. There is so much I love about this series, the variety of supernatural characters, the fight against an evil agenda and the passion and romance of the main characters for this story.
I voluntarily read a complimentary copy and have not been compensated for this opinion.
Ana was stolen from her family while still in the womb by Felix. Now Felix has found his long lost mate Savannah. Ana is residing with her true family in Ashwood Falls. She has believed that Kieran washer mate but he didn't act on it while they were living in the Onyx pack. The problem is that he is still not acting on it. She is upset with him and believes that maybe they aren't mates after all. Kieran has parts in his past that he is afraid to share with Ana. He believes that she will stop loving him if she knew. But with Savannah and Felix working together again, tomorrow is not guaranteed. I missed this one when I read book 6 in the series. I am glad that I went back and read it before continuing on. Even though the books are short, they are very entertaining!
I was super excited to read Ana story everything about her intrigued me from the previous story. From her being kidnapped as a infant and her just trying to see where she fit in general with her biological family. This was definitely not your typical PNR but all the same I found it to be a interesting and entertaining read. Overall a good read however I'm so looking forward to her sister Sable story that going to be a rollercoaster of emotions for sure. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.
Kieran had been a spy for ashwood pack and knew Ana was his mate but that he wasn’t going to claim her. Ana found that she had been stolen from her mother and father when born and went back to her pack. She felt like an outsider didn’t know what she wanted to do in the pack and forced Kieran to face his fears about them mating. Helping her pack fight Savannah who was released from the spell she was put under. Good book!.

Ana's story was an interesting one because she was stolen as a baby and raised as the kidnapper's daughter. When she finally meets her birth family she finds out some interesting things. I loved how protective Kieran was over Ana and how he always knew she was his mate. A Leopard's Path is a captivating story with characters that pulled me into the story and held my attention from the first page to the last. I look forward to reading the rest of this fabulous series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

A Leopards Path Is the eighth book in The Ashwood Falls Series. This book follows the story of Ana and Kieran. I absolutely love the chemistry between Ana and Kieran, I find it to be such a magnetic pull. I’m so happy these two end up together and have a happy ending for their story. I think the author did a phenomenal job with telling Ana and Kieran’s story. I also found this book to be exceptionally well written. I would most definitely recommend this book to other readers.

Kieran and Ana are mates but she doesn’t know why he keeps not starting the mating dance with her. He was a spy in the onyx pack working for Ashwood Falls, and she was the kidnapped daughter the Alpha of Ashwood Falls. Ana is having trouble adjusting to her new family and having her mate reject her at every turn isn’t helping. Things are ramping up when Felix and his mate, Savannah are reunited. This could spell disaster for the Ashwood Falls pack. Can they come together and defend against Felix and Savannah? Will Kieran finally accept Ana?
I am a lover of a good Leopard shifter story and this one really brought it! Kieran and Ana make a good match in this engaging story. This story made me happy that I read it and I highly recommend! I Loved It!!! No Spoilers!.

Ana was kidnapped at birth and only found by her family, the Ashwood leopard Alpha, years later. Now living with her new pack, she and Kieran are trying to navigate their relationship. This story is filled with action and revelations.

The relationship of Ana and her mate did not follow a logical progression or path. Disjointed and uninteresting, with really no development over the course of the story. Her sister Sable and mate Jared, though, were very interesting. Want to read their book!
This is book 8 in the series and in the box set. Kieran was a Marshall in the Onyx clan but also a spy for Ashwood Falls clan. Ana is his mate . In this book magic is used more in the fighting , it’s a more intense read Loved it
This book takes us in the lives Ana and Kieren. This is their journey to becoming mates and getting their happily ever after. The story flows well, the characters are likeable and fit well together. Another great read in this series Shifters of Ashwood Falls.

Returning to Ashwood Falls is always an enjoyable journey. This ongoing, multi-branched series always delights with a steamy, intense full pack involvement style of paranormal romance. Shifters, one and all – and every single one of them has their own story both told and untold.
Now the Ashwood Falls series is ongoing and somewhat connected. It is possible to pick up A Leopard’s Path and enjoy it completely as a stand alone or introduction to the series. But… much like a true pack, whose lives are intertwined with all of the other members of the pack – so is Ashwood Falls to some degree. You do not have to start at the beginning (Winter Eve, the prequel or A Tiger’s Claim #1) but you will get the overall story and might not be confused with pack members being tossed into conversations. Besides, if you love shifters to start with, then reading this series from the beginning is pretty natural, right?
Ana and Kieran are mates – well, they each know the other is their mate but there are secrets each is holding on to and that is preventing their true, complete mating. Ana has only recently been reunited with her family, having been stolen away as baby. She has powers and abilities that she has not yet mentioned to her mate or her pack. Kieran has secrets too. Ones he will do anything to prevent Ana from discovering. How can a true, fully mated life between these two be possible with so many lies scattered around? Especially when terror is about to descend upon them all once again.
A Leopard’s Path is another excellent addition to this ongoing series. Full of intrigue, magic, shifters, hot Alpha men and women, strong sex drives and deep life long love – this one has it all. Highly recommended for Paranormal lovers, Romance lovers and definitely anyone who loves combining the two. The action is fast paced, the characters believable and just plain fun to get to know and the steam rises pretty hot between Ana and Kieran.
If you enjoy anything paranormal, give this one a try. I’m thinking you’ll be hooked and enjoy every minute.
