Another quickie, this third serial has Raven trying to fight off attacks from more than one source. After fighting so hard to try and stay away from him, Raven now finds herself fighting to stay by his side. She isn't willing to just walk away and that decision may cost her dearly.

While Jake has agreed that Raven's idea for saving his image is a good one, his manager/best friend would rather see Raven getting far away from Jake. He thinks she wants something from Jake and is willing to pay a high price to get rid of her.

Even the Alpha Club wants Raven to stay away from Jake. After doing everything possible to force her to stay with him, they now want her to up and disappear. It seems that fulfilling her contract meant doing what Jake wanted in private, while staying out of the public eye. It is clear that the club is willing to resort to any means necessary to make her life hell if she doesn't do what they want.

Overall, this continues to be an "okay" series. It is quite unbelievable, but it holds just enough appeal to keep me reading. The writing style could use some work, but it isn't bad. I'm on to the next one.

This series keeps getting better. It's honest, gritty, sexy, painful, and suspenseful. I'm really enjoying it! I'm thrilled that Jake is opening up more with Raven. I wish she would tell him about what his friend/manager Kurt did to her (the bribes and threats). I got a tad annoyed with how much of her inner monologue was dedicated to waffling between continuing the fake relationship or walking/running away. My thing was that there's no denying she wants Jake. And he's giving her everything. What was she going back to? She has no home or job lol!

The scene Raven endured with Max and Scott of Club Alpha was damn scary. And the final scene where Jake proves he has her back was crazy!! Can't wait to see what's in store for the next book/chapter.

I am so glad Jake finally Grew some Balls and decided to open up to Raven and Protect her after her bad incounter with Club alpha(WTF is wrong with this Club??!!)
I also am happy that Raven decided to for once tell Jake what was going on,instead of sheltering the truth from him.
Can they be falling in love?I'm not planning on their relationship staying so sweetfor long .
what will happen to skyler, now that she's sick and Raven might have to go into hiding??
I need the Debt 4 inmy hands ....like right now !!!!

Loving this book and the series so far.

Raven Hartley was a struggling waitress, who just made one innocent mistake. Who thought going to a party at a millionaire's home could cause trouble for Raven.

Jake Novak is a pop idol who always gets what he wants. He wants Raven but Raven knows better than to get involved with Jake.

After the party, Raven is given a choice, become Jake's personal escort or have her life destroyed by the Club.

What a choice???

I would recommend this book and I can't wait for the rest of the books. Still in love with Kelly Favor Books

Poor Raven. Her life is spinning out of her hands and this keep getting more and more complicated for her. It seems like everywhere she turns someone is trying to keep her from Jake. Even Jake himself.

One thing that's not that much fun is she talks Jake into something and the next second he's telling him its not a good idea and he's talking her into something he was just against. It's not confusing but it's like... are you serious? So Jake stands up for Raven and she's doubting that she can pretend anymore. It hurts that it seems like its he is only using her for his image.

The suspense really got me with this one. The whole drama with Kurt threatening Raven and then the club's boss threatening her and what they are willing to do to her to make her keep quiet, I can't wait to read the next book. Oh and I'm so glad Jake finally pulled his head in and decided to treat Raven with a bit of decency and tell her some truths and open up a little about himself.

I started this series and must admit it's kinda annoying that it has been separated into so many books.
It's an ok story with 50 Shades of Gray leanings.Fan fiction maybe? Regardless there is a story there somewhere so i am going to try and finish it.
