The kind that push me outside my comfort zone and introduce me to characters I either want to be friends with... or dramatically argue with in a fictional diner.
I love traveling to scout out new and exciting settings for my books—but nothing beats a peaceful walk in the woods or a seat by the ocean close to home. Turns out, plot twists and inspiration show up just fine with a sea breeze and squirrels.

Review
I have a few authors, who when they contact me asking for my opinion on their new books I have a “One Click Yes” response and Ms. Rinyu is one of them! After her book, A Cry for Hope, she had a loyal fan in me.
Did she disappoint with this book? OH HELL NO…even though this book is ‘lighter’ than her first, it still tugs at your heart strings and starts you out with a few tears. As the same with her first book this is a very deep and complicated love story.
All of Ms Rinyu’s characters are complicated and developed which makes them so easy to relate to and connect with. Saying this, it was especially true with Gabby ---- she was such a strong character and heroine. She could make me laugh and get me frustrated with her stubbornness in the next.
I don’t know how Ms. Rinyu does this but I’ll be the last to complain with how she writes the personality of her characters, this definitely being one of her strongest abilities.
And the ending? OH MY….I did a *facepalm* with that one slipping by me!

Will is Jamie’s little brother from the first book and we start off at the Twin Towers on 9/11 where Will is a firefighter and saves a girl from one of the towers but he ends up losing one of his closest friends. This sets the stage for Will and her personality of distancing himself from relationships. He is wild with his partying and his women – well that is until during one call he ends up at the Burn Center after an accident. This is where he meets Gabby as his nurse. They instantly hit it off with Gabby’s caretaking and humor, instantly becoming friends.
We go through watching them grow from friends to wanting more but too stubborn to give into their hearts. It is through the strength of Will and Gabby that each one is able to heal old wounds and start new close relationships.
Their relationship is full of laughs, fighting, hurt feelings, closeness and love. We watch these two learn how to open their hearts once again and take a chance on each other.
Wrap-Up
Such a beautiful love story full of obstacles and growth while living through both Will and Gabby while they learn to live again.

The story of Will starts off at The Twin Towers September 11, 2001 it was his second day on the job as a firefighter in New York, a day that forever changed Will's perspective on life and his relationships, sadly a day where he lost a close friend but also unaware that, that day he gained so much more.
As the story moves along Will is hurt during a routine day of putting out a fire and sustained third degree burns to his arm and is admitted to hospital.

I was given an advance copy for a honest review.
If you have read the first book which was A Cry For Hope, and you felt the heartbreak and emotions that both Hope and Jamie went through?
Well believe me when I say Will and Gabby's story is just as powerful.
The story starts on a terrible day in history 9/11 where Will is one of the firefighters fighting his way up the flights of stairs in the tower. However as he and his friend Danny get to the 18th floor they meet a man who is struggling to breathe and his daughter Bree.
The man shouts and pleads for Will to take Bree out the building and get her to safety. They make it outside but suddenly to tower collapses with her father and Wills friend both trapped inside.
From this point we then go back to the present and meet Will properly for the first time enjoying his playboy ways ;-).
Gabby works as a nurse in the local hospital in the burns unit. She's full of life and loves to have a laugh with those that she treats to keep their mind off the pain that they are in.
Unfortunate things at home are not good for Gabby. Her boyfriend is a mean drunk and although in the pass it has only ever been hurtful words, but things change.
Gabby and Will meet in the hospital burns unit after an accident at work for him and the start of a beautiful friendship happens. They are both happy to be around each other teasing everyone else around them as if they have been friends for years.
Whilst reading the book you can't help but laugh with them when they are together as all they do is have fun.
However the story twist and turns throughout and Will and Gabby's relationship blooms. She gives Will a run for his money.
Watching the relationship they have with one and another and those around them.
Will and his dad and Gabby and her mum. Trust me when I say you go through some tough emotions.
Of course you will find sadness in this story and boy is it a heartbreaker. I personally had to take a deep breath after a certain scene.
Though Gabby and Will drift apart at a point in the story, what brings them back together is the biggest twist I've ever read. A ugly happy cry when it's all revealed.
I don't want to say anymore about the story as I feel I may put my foot in it and give huge spoilers.
All I will say is please read the book I read it In one sitting as I couldn't bare to put it down. The chemistry throughout is amazing.
I would just like to say congrats to Beth on another amazing book and I look forward to reading more of your work.

We met Will in A Cry for Hope. He is Jamie's playboy, firefighter, younger brother. Will knows how life can change in an instant so he is determined to live it to the fullest and do what he wants when he wants. He holds himself back and has limited true connections with women and even with his own family.
I was commitment phobic and wasn't ashamed to admit it. I could never imagine myself with one woman for the rest of my life. The mere thought of the same piece of a** forever depressed me.
When Will ends up in the hospital, he meets burn nurse, Gabby. She brings a little happiness to his days as he is recovering. Her life is also in a rut and she feels powerless to change it. All she really has going for her is her work.
These two lost souls develop a witty, engaging rapport that turns into a true friendship that builds at a realistic pace. They truly begin to look out for the other and provide balance. They become friends who could read each other so well in some ways and were so clueless in others.
I loved them together. She truly made Will a better person--one that cared about someone besides himself and brought out a loving, protective, vulnerable man. But also a confused, scared,and jealous one. But he had insecurities that clawed at him and was paralyzed at the through of losing her from his life so did not want to jeopardize that.
What Gabby and I had was something special, something that I never had with any other person. We had a connection and that was so much stronger than sex.
And Gabby was just adorable, sassy, sweet, strong, and had a huge heart. But deep down she was also somewhat broken, insecure, and felt inferior. But she really had no clue how high up on a pedestal Will placed her.

Their connection had a sweetness about it and underlying chemistry. But it built slowly over time. It was not insta-love, insta-lust, or insta-sex. This timeline was realistic even if it at times it got frustrating seeing them deny, miscommunicate, and push each other away. It both made me appreciate that it was a more natural progression, but also made me want to speed up the pacing because I was dying for them to move forward. I seriously wanted to shake sense into both of them at times.
But they needed each other in ways that neither of them even realized. They were catalysts for each other and they challenged each other to make important changes in their lives and face issues that had deep impacts on their lives that they had been avoiding .
There are twists and turns that made it more special and emotional. It was engaging, funny, heartbreaking, and heartwarming. We got to see a bit more with Hope and Jamie and his family that we met in the first book. But this one can be read as a stand alone. We met some of his friends that added both comic relief and some drama to the story. And they both had family dramas that added conflict as well. It was told in both Will and Gabby's points of view so we got to know each character intimately and understand their hesitations and fears. It was a sweet story of hope, growth, love, and fate.

I was given an ARC by the awesome author and I’m just… speechless.
I’ve been a big fan of Beth’s books since I won my first one on a giveaway and I ended up loving every single word written in it because I could really picture everything, every character and gesture, every place; I definitely needed to read more. The second book I read from her was A Cry for Hope, and oh does the title honors the book. I spent hours and hours crying over that book, crying myself to sleep after deciding my heart couldn’t take it anymore for the day. (It must be said I’m such a baby and find it hard not to cry when something really touches me). Sure all the tears on the book and the fact that I got to cry in several places of the city were all on me because the book came with a warning.
That said, I wasn’t sure what to expect with A Will to Change. Was I going to laugh or cry? Should I read it fast or should I try to make it last? I decided on the last one, but once I started reading I couldn’t really put it down and kept going until I finished it. It was A-MAZ-ING! With this book, she made up for every single tear I dropped with the previous one and she gave me a new favorite fictional boyfriend for whom I fell in love almost instantly.
The story develops in my favorite place in the Universe, New York, and it caught my attention right always. Then, the main character is the hottest firefighter we can picture with baby blue eyes and a twisted sense of humor that kept me laughing and giggling almost all the time. And the girl… she’s not a covergirl, she’s actually average and sweet and fun and somehow has the same sense of humor he does. How could I not love the characters?
The way the relationship between Will and Gabby is built through the pages is just adorable, the way they get jealous, the way they fight, and the way they care for each other in their very personal way… it trapped me. I found the right amount laughs and tears in every single chapter; and the fact that it’s written from both points of view made me liked it even more.
I find it amazing that it’s not only a book about a couple but it also involves the family (good and bad relationships) and friends which makes the characters much more likeable and relatable with because we all have had or have heard about a lot of the issues her characters get into. I was so caught up with everything I could actually feel the need of punching one or two of the characters and I could hear my heart breaking at some other times.
In this book, I found things I really like about Beth’s books: One unexpected twist in the story (well, there are many, but I’m talking about one particular scene when they visit Will’s friend), a death (which made my heart squeeze) and a beautiful ending.
I’d be nuts to give less than 5 stars to this beautifully written book and I will be waiting eagerly for more from this author.

omg I have loved this book. gabby and will story was really up and down and I was definitely not expecting some of the stuff to happen. will was a fire fighter and had got hurt and ended up under the care of nurse gabby and from then on they became best friends with a friendship that has was good and bad but in the end the angels were found. It also let us know more about Jamie and hope,wills brother and family which was good if you have read book one. xx

Wonderful book. Will is a fireman on 9/11 in New York when the towers were attached. He is helping people down the stairs when he stops to help a man who is having trouble breathing. He has his teenage daughter with him. He is having trouble with his oxygen and he asks Will to please see to it his daughter gets out and he will follow shortly. Will sees the pleading look in his eyes and he takes his daughter who has a broken leg and leads her to safety. After they get about two blocks away he finds a policeman and gives her over to him. She pleads with Will not to leave her but he wants to get back to the towers. Just about then the towers fall and she knows her dad will not get out. Years later Will is fighting a fire and he has a roof fall on him and he gets third degree burns on his arm. He winds up in the burn unit of the hospital where he meets Gabby. She is a burn unit nurse and she will be changing his bandages every morning and afternoon. They become friends over the course of his long stay in hospital. He knows Gabby is having some problems at home but he never asks her about them. She lives with her boyfriend, Evan, and when he drinks he gets violent. He grabs her and pushes her one night and she tells him they are finished and when she finds a place she can afford she will move. This goes on for awhile and after Will is released they start spending more time together and become best friends. Will uses women for what he wants and thats all. He respects Gabby and treats her special. Evan gets drunk again and punches Gabby and she flees to Will's apartment. He moves her in with him and they remain just best friends. I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review for a Blog Tour. I cannot get enough of Beth Rinyu's beautiful writing. I have read everyone of her books and it just gets better and better as she goes.
The first book of this series was A Cry for Hope which was Jamie and Hope's story. A Will to Change will be in two POV's. Jamie's younger brother Will McAdams, a NY City Firefighter and Gabby Spencer, a nurse that works in a burn unit of a busy NY City Hospital.
"Even though I had just met this girl, I already knew she was an angel."
This book starts on September 11, 2001 and then catches you up the the present. That day changed Will's life forever. Will is a broken soul and doesn't do relationships.
One day, while Will goes on a rescue mission, he ends up in the hospital and becomes friends with the hot and feisty nurse Gabby Spencer who takes care of him. They build up a very close relationship and become the best of friends. As time goes by, feelings start to change with one another.
"I would always be here for her whenever or whatever she needed me for. I would be here forever for my sweet little Gabby girl."
Will these two soulmates get their happily ever after?
I love this book from the beginning to end. Looking forward to more from this author!

Wow!!! I was gifted this book for an honest review! Honestly, awesome book!! Will & Gabby are my absolute favs!! I love Beth's work! She's a genius when it comes to developing strong amazing characters!
This book is the sequel to A Cry For Hope but can be read as a standalone! It starts off September 11th in NY. Will's a fireman & has to face the crumbling Trade Centers! He saves a girl, Bree but loses many fellow coworkers! It changed him! It changed many! Will lives his life closed hearted & wild! One night going into a burning building, he lands himself in the burn unit! At the site of his nurse, Gabby, he knew she was different! Gabby was smart, funny, spunky & feisty but there's so much more to her! After horrible relationships & left alone, she finds herself BFF's with Will!
It was awesome watching their relationship grow! I found myself falling in love with Will & his Gabby Girl with every turning page! I'm not going to lie tho, I was frustrated a LOT with BOTH of their stubbornness! Gabby's mom caused my blood pressure to rise many times! That woman really ticked me off! So cruel & heartless!
I was SHOCKED with the turn of events & revelations that came about at the end!! I was literally speechless! I loved the ending! It was PERFECT! Another awesome book by Beth Rinyu!!

To be completely honest this book was very hard for me to get into IN THE BEGINNING due to the subject matter. Once I saw what the first chapter was about it took me a while to go back to it and finish reading it. I am SO GLAD that I did though because I REALLY enjoyed it and thought it was a GREAT book. It all came together in the end and was a beautiful story. I loved how characters from the last book were intertwined in this one, but not so much that you would have to read that one first. I should have known that I would love this book since I have loved every other book by this author!! I highly recommend it!!

Let me just start by saying Will is not like any of my other book bf's. I absolutely LOVE him he is such a sweetheart. I mean don't get me wrong he is still a huge MANHORE but we was never rude to Gabby.
The friendship they have is so sweet. And to watch their friendship turn to love was touching.

Loved this story and loved Will. I loved how much his relationship with Gabby meant to him and how much he treasured their relationships. She was his best friend, his angel and he would do anything to protect her. All though at times I felt like yelling at him to wake up. :)

***Won a ARC of this book*** This is the first book I have read by Beth Rinyu and it did not disappoint! I couldn't get enough of the story between Gabby and Will. What a whirlwind of emotions, but love a HEA!

Although I may have wanted to shake Will a few times for his stubbornness, I really enjoyed his story. As the less successful brother, Will distances himself from his family as much as possible--only calling and showing up for special occasions. He also refuses to commit to a relationship and instead commits to a lifetime of hookups. That is until nurse Gabby enters his life and turns his world upside down. This book was everything from sad to sexy, frustrating to funny---and everywhere in between. Great characters, great writing---very good read. Highly recommended.

I want to kiss Beth Rinyu right now! This book has finally gotten me out of my book funk, thank goodness! My attention was grabbed from the heart-breaking prologue and was held throughout the whole book.
Will McAdams is a 34yr old commitment-phobe, player and sexy firefighter that experienced a life altering event carrying out his job during the attack on the twin towers on Sept. 11th 2001. Since that day Will’s outlook on life changed and ‘You only live once’ became his mantra. He works hard, plays hard and enjoys sleeping with many women without getting close to any of them. That was until he happens upon 30yr old Gabby Spencer, a nurse on the burns unit at his local hospital. Gabby is different from the women he usually surrounds himself with and he doesn’t want to lose her by treating her the same. She is down to earth, full of fun and doesn’t take herself too seriously. A deep friendship ensued that had them feeling completely at ease with each other with plenty of jokey banter.
I really felt for Gabby, she didn’t have it easy at all and was a pro at trying to hide that and keep it under wraps. I loved how Will could read Gabby so well but I got so damn frustrated at the pair of them skirting around their feelings for each other! Will keeping up his player reputation while keeping his easy friendship with Gabby irked me too. It shouldn’t as they were only close friends at that point but I think we (the readers) see that they are perfect and totally smitten with each other. WE JUST NEEDED THEM TO SEE IT! They were so good for each other and really sweet together. When he calls her Gabby Girl I swoon!!
Her whole body was trembling as she hugged me tightly. “Don’t leave me, Will. Promise me you’ll always be my friend.”
I lay down on the bed with her and pulled her close. “Gabby, I will be your friend forever. You don’t ever have to worry about that.”……For the first time in my life, I was actually going to sleep with a woman without having sex with her.
My emotions were running high reading this and at one point I found myself yelling out loud to Will to get it together as Gabby was so worth the risk! It is a testament to the Author that she can evoke all kinds of emotions in you with her work and I know I felt a range reading this. It had heart-break, hope, friendship, passion and humour. There isn’t much more I can say without spoilers.
“…Why can’t I be different? Damn it, Will. Why can’t you see that I’d rather have you for one night and risk losing you forever than never have you at all?”
If you like push and pull, work hard for it romances then this is for you. I loved this! This is a companion novel to book one, A Cry for Hope but each book is a standalone. I hadn’t read the first book and it didn’t affect my enjoyment or understanding at all. One-click now, you won’t be disappointed!

When did Beth Rinyu disappoint me with her books? Never. Yep, never. And this one? Such an amazing read. Again. This is not one of those instalove books that will give you a thousand questions on how everything happened in an instant. Plus, Beth Rinyu's characters were always so realistic that the readers can easily relate with them. I never had a hard time connecting with her characters. The feelings and emotions always flow instantly from the book unto me.
Will and Gabby's story is about a sweet friendship that gave way to a meaningful, true love. Will is a firefighter. A sexy firefighter that was brought to the hospital when he was injured during one of their missions. Gabby was the nurse who was assigned to look after Will during his stay at the hospital. Friendship bloomed between the two of them. They really had a great potential to be lovers, but there were two problems. Will doesn't do relationships, while Gabby had a boyfriend and she's living in with him.
Gabby was being abused by her boyfriend, and Will just didn't want this to happen again. He can't let this continue. He helped Gabby get away from her ex, offering her to move in with him. No attachments. Not your typical friends with benefits kind of story. Just friends. Gabby hesitated at first but she had no choice so she gladly accept Will's offer. They had so much fun together. Well, I had so much fun with them. I really like the way they get along with each other. Looks like Gabby is my favorite woman among Beth's characters! She's funny, witty, sweet, caring, loving, and definitely knows how to handle awkward situations. She's the perfect woman every man needs.
Mixed with family matters, Beth Rinyu once again proved how strong her characters are. How they can stand up with their own feet, be independent and show the world what it takes to be strong. This book will teach you that you can always make your own decisions and choices. Not because other people tell you that something is good for you means that you should do it. You'll always be the one who knows what'll be good for you and what will truly make you happy.
I just love A Will To Change. I love every chapter, from the beginning up to the ending. A story of family, friendship, love, hope, strength and courage -- this book has it all, all you need to fall in love.

I am so glad that I happened to find this book. It was a completely random find but a gem of a book. There was so much emotion poured into this book. Even the small scenes really made an impact, there was no filler. This is the first title I've read from Beth Rinyu but after reading this, I will be seeking out more of her work.
I was pulled in right away with this story. It opens on September 11- needless to say I knew I would be hooked. While it was hard to read the prologue, because it took me back to that day, I had to know how the story ended. Fast forward twelve years and that is where the story picks back up.
This book features a dual POV from both Gabby and Will and it was pulled off flawlessly (sometimes it just doesn't work but here it did). I absolutely adored the relationship that developed between Gabby and Will. It started when Will was injured at work and is sent to recover in the burn unit where Gabby works.
They form an instant bond they both end up saving each other in different ways. As time goes on, a deep bond forms between the two. As they try to fight their attraction, everything comes to a head. When Gabby goes on a date one night, Will realizes that she means so much more to him. Not wanting to ruin the best relationship he has ever had with a woman, by getting intimate, he tries to suppress his feelings. This only causes a rift between them because Gabby has a crush on Will too. Gabby makes on final play for Will and when she is turned down she knows she has to move out.
When tragedy strikes, Gabby swallows her pride and goes to be there for Will. She was in for a not so pleasant surprise. Will, comes out of his stupor and goes to get his woman. Things are going great and the couple is happy and together once again! BUT it doesn't stop there. Oh no, there is one more discovery that Will and Gabby make. That was such a touching moment for me in the story. Don't even get me started on the epilogue. That Will really earned his swoon factor with that last stunt.
Overall, it was a well paced and easy read. While there were some heavy topics that were covered (injury and abuse- both physical and emotional) they were handled with care and delicacy. It was ultimately a book of healing and the power fate/chance plays in our lives. I look forward to going back and reading Hope's story.

WOW!! Another treasure by author Beth Rinyu. She has done it again and dare I say Will is my new book boyfriend. Don’t tell but I think Beth just topped Dailan O’Maley. That’s right ladies I said it and you will agree once you pick up this book and fall madly in love with Will and Gabby.
After finishing A Cry for Hope and learning Beth would be writing Will’s story I was just ecstatic. She promised I would laugh and cry, just a little in the telling of Will’s and Gabby’s story. She didn’t let me down. I kid you not their story had me in stitches. Laugh out loud moments and then I turned the page and was crying happy and sometimes sad tears. Author Beth Rinyu is definitely an author that can send you on an emotional roller coaster. I just love how she can really wring the emotions out of me.
With A Will To Change Beth had me at page one. She always has a strong start to a book that only continues to get better until that climatic end where she throws in her HEA zinger. I LOVED IT!!! I was so happy I wiped my tears and picked up the phone to call my favorite book gal. I told her to be ready for this book and if she doesn’t get it June 26th when it releases I was going to hunt her down.
No one should deprive themselves of this story. And if you haven’t had the immense joy of reading one of Beth Rinyu’s books yet then A Will To Change is definitely one you want to pick up. I guarantee you will be hooked in a matter of seconds and lost in a world or love only author Beth Rinyu can create.

We caught a glimpse of Will in A Cry for Hope but now we get so see what Will's all about. This is the second book in the Hope Series but can be read as a standalone, but then you would be missing out on Hope and Jamie's story.
Beth definitely made up for all of the tears she made me shed while reading A Cry For Hope by substituting lots of laughter and and fun and enjoyable characters like Gabby and Will. I devoured this book in a few hours. It was like catching up with old friends and I couldn't tear myself away.
Will, an NYC Firefighter and Gabby, a Nurse, meet while he is being treated for burns at the hospital where Gabby works. She is quick to see that Will is a player when the women start parading in and out of his hospital room. Will likes Gabby's quick witted sense of humor and takes a liking to his nurse... and as time passes may be even considers her a friend.
What a friend? Yeah that is unfamiliar territory for him. After being discharged they keep in contact. But he finds himself missing Gabby when they don't speak and has become very protective of her.
What starts out as a favor turns into so much more. Watching the relationship grow between the two was fun and entertaining. However, the stubbornness of these to characters was sometimes painful. I found myself wanting to shake them and tell them to speak up. As we explore more of Will and Gabby we find that they have a deeper connection than either of them could have imagined.
I liked that we got to catch up with Jamie and Hope, to see how things turned out for them. While catching up we learn that Gabby can definitely held her own with the McAdams men.
Another heartfelt amazing ready from Beth. This was a feel good, laugh out loud kind of story but of course every novel must have some drama to keep you on your toes. If you have not had the pleasure of reading Beth's work you have been missing out. Grab your copy of a Will to Change today!

What starts out as a favor turns into so much more. Watching the relationship grow between the two was fun and entertaining. However, the stubbornness of these to characters was sometimes painful. I found myself wanting to shake them and tell them to speak up. As we explore more of Will and Gabby we find that they have a deeper connection than either of them could have imagined.
I liked that we got to catch up with Jamie and Hope, to see how things turned out for them. While catching up we learn that Gabby can definitely held her own with the McAdams men.
Another heartfelt amazing ready from Beth. This was a feel good, laugh out loud kind of story but of course every novel must have some drama to keep you on your toes. If you have not had the pleasure of reading Beth's work you have been missing out. Grab your copy of a Will to Change today!

Will + Gabby = The perfect book couple!
What can I say? I really shouldn't be surprised that I've fallen absolutely in love with another one of Beth Rinyu's books. She is a wonderful writer that knows how to pull you into a story and not let you leave until your turn that last page. I loved all of Beth's works, thus far. But, if I had to pick a favorite right now it would be this book. Will and Gabby's story is like no other that I've read before, they are not jumping in bed by the first chapter, they don't say "I love you" in every other line or call each other sick sweetening names that make want to throw your kindle at the wall - they are real. Will is not some millionaire CEO that is broken and Gabby is not your typical Damsel in distress that wins his heart over. Both had their issues but it was not the forefront of the story. Will was a ladies man - and a very hot one at that! And Gabby, yes she did have some things bogging her down but she was strong, sassy and the perfect match for Will. The relationship they had was beautiful Will was always there for Gabby and vice versa. Throughout the entire story I felt the love that these two had for each other. It didn't have to be conveyed with words or actions it was written in such a manner that reader feels that bond that two of them share.
I cannot recommend this book enough! Loved it! Thank you for giving me a new book boyfriend to fall in love with!

This is the first book I've read from Beth Rinyu and I am kicking myself....literally kicking myself, for not reading from this fantastic author earlier. I can honestly say, that I will be buying any other books she has written and will continue to buy her books in the future. For me, this book tugged at my heart and I even let a few tears, drop while reading this. Her characters are developed beautifully and are the type that you could either relate to or at least hang with. I loved, loved Gabby. Gabby was such a strong character, who honestly cared about other people, and would be the first person to go to for a laugh. Gabby is a nurse at the burn unit where she meets Will. Will is a fire fighter who had an accident at work and had to stay at the burn unit for a few days. Gabby and Will have a fierce connection right from the start and a friendship begins. Will is a ladies man, who doesn't believe in settling down. The wonderful thing about Gabby, is that she doesn't try to change Will. She accepts that he likes women and this is who he is. They become closer when Gabby's boyfriend turns abusive, which then makes Gabby move into Will's spare bedroom. They get along great as friends until their feelings change for each other. This review doesn't do this book justice and doesn't even cover half of what occurs in the story. This is such a great book and I encourage everyone who wants to read an amazing love story to buy this book.

Just from the Prologue alone, I knew this was going to be a powerful story. No one can extract emotions like Beth Rinyu! Laughter and tears and yelling and heartbreak and Hotness! This book is So Beautifully written, with such incredible character development (felt like Will and Gabby were close personal friends of mine), I was drawn in at page one and could not put it down until The End! AND THEN the incredible Epilogue - Perfect ending! LOVED Gabby and Will!
I have read all of Beth’s books and love every single one. Since reading An Unplanned Lesson back in April 2013, Dailan O'Maley has been my Favorite! He now needs to move over and make room for Will right beside him.

I absolutely loved this book! Beth Rinyu really knows how to touch her reader's hearts in a surprising way. I laughed, swooned and cried from Gabby and Will's story of fate and love.
We met Will during "A Cry for Hope" wherein he was introduced as the younger brother of Jamie who works as a fireman and lives the life of an ultimate playboy. But one day, fate decided to lead him to Gabby who works at the burn unit at a hospital where Will was brought in after his accident during a job.
I love how they started as friends then grew together in love. It wasn't fast-paced or slow for me. It was just right. I feel like their friendship during the beginning was a great foundation for their relationship.

Ahhhhh this was so romantic my heart is overwhelmed with so many feelings!!!
A really deep story line that even brings sad memories of such a date as 09/11 it still remember us how blessed we are to be alive and that love shows in the most strange ways! I'm so glad I read this book because even tho it gives you the entertainment definitely teaches you about forgiveness and reconciliation, saying that this book surely will be in my mind when you are too hurt to forgive someone. Sometimes I felt it was too fast paced but the story itself is so beautiful that I let that pass. Will and Gabby (or how I prefer call her "Bree" :') have such a powerful connection that goes more than attraction and friendship. This story made me laugh made me cry and made me learn to appreciate life and time with the people I love!

Beth Rinyu knows how to pull at your Heartstrings. I was drawn in from the very first page.
Will is a firefighter, one who doesn't believe in love or relationships. When he gets hurt on the job and ends up in the burn unit, he doesn't expect the cute, funny, nurse who walks in. She's one who can keep up with his jokes and dish it all back to him. She doesn't cringe with his crudeness, but rather finds his man-whoring ways humorous. This is all just the beginning of a beautiful friendship. One that is true. They're there for each other regardless of the time of day or situation. They'd drop everything for the other. But what happens when real feelings start to come to light? Will they be acted upon or pushed underneath the rug until it's too late?
I loved everything about this book. I even shed a few tears at times. In fact, I only got about 3 hours of sleep as I didn't want to put Will down. The sleepless night was worth it to find one of my new fav reads.

I took a gamble and tried a new author and it turned out not being as bad as I thought.
Things that I Liked
- Nobody was a gazillionaire and they were ordidnary working people that had normal jobs
- The setting (my hometown)
- The September 11th aspect
- I loved the surprise twist at the end (never saw that coming).
Things that I disliked
Gabby, can we say needy much MY G-d. I understand the tragedies that she went through in her life but she was so damn clingy. I couldn't understand why she didn't have any friends besides Will it was kinda creepy. She made him her whole world and acted like she couldn't function without him, I hate a clingy female protagonist.
As for Will he was an overgrown kid but I liked him for the most part. He only made me upset when he was denying his feelings for Gabby and pushed her away.
Overall not bad, I would read another book from this author.

I have been stalking the release of this book since I first was introduced to Will back in A Cry For Hope. All I can say is, it was so worth the wait and now I am so sad that it's over. I felt as if I knew Will & Gabby on a personal level that's how deep and developed these characters are. What I love about this author's books is they are so original not that same old typical stuff you read in all the romance novels these days. Will and Gabby's relationship seemed so real and not forced. I laughed and got a little teary eyed in some spots. Really wish I could give it more than 5 stars. If you are looking for a book that can make you feel a whole spectrum of emotions, pick this one up, you will not regret it! The only thing you may regret is the book hangover you will have when you are done reading it! Ms. Rinyu has set the standard high for my next read!

Honestly I just marked this as TBR because I was intrigued with the first book. Didn't really bother reading its blurb or anything. But as I binge-read last night, I finished A Cry for Hope, and read the prologue for its sequel.
And so I decided to ignore the common sense that it was late night, and knew I had to read this at that moment. Will's bond with Bree, then meeting Gabby, it all got me in a trance. I must say I much enjoyed this than the first book (it was good, but this was more of my style).
They're fun. I guess the roomies thing is something of a given to me, but witty banters always get to me. All the more, their story has a historical/monumental reference, which I've always found interesting.
