Marie's Tempting Reads ARC Review:
Two For Tamara is a paranormal romance thrill ride that left me laughing, sighing, squirming, and entertained until the last page. Its the second book in Elle Boon's Ravens Of War Series and I have to say, the BEST one so far. I LOVED Tamara, Vin, and Rafe!
I thought everything flowed more smoothly and was evenly spaced out in this second book. Its a powerful story with a lot of character and some funny moments, and some extremely sensual ones too.
I loved getting to know each of these Ravens and I think Vin and Rafe are so far, my favorites. They complimented each other so well. I liked also how you could feel the passion crackling between Vin, Tamara, and Rafe.
Miss Boon also brought on some new and interesting characters in here as well that I am looking forward to reading more about.
It was too easy giving Two for Tamara a full FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS. I liked everything about this second book and can't find one thing to make me think that this should of been anything less then a five star. I can NOT wait for the next book. I hope it gets here soon because I am already dying of anticipation. If you haven't picked Two for Tamara up yet, I suggest you high-tale it to Bookstrand for your copy today. i loved this book it has love action an adventure all make for a great combination to a great book
Rafe and Vin are ravens they were created to help destroy kronos and his minions because the gods themselves cant harm each other but since the struggle between the gods and kronos have stoped or has it they are sent to find the person to complete their souls they find their women in the best freind of the lost daughter of Zeus and Hera her name is Tamara she has they gift of for sight but she sees herself dieing will she die or will rafe and vin save her from harm to find out i strongly suggest you read this book

Reading the Raven series again... had forgotten how good! OMG... Two seriously sexy and hunky...very well endowed mates. One luscious human female with the knowledge of certain death in her very near future, and you have one amazing story!

He wants 2 start shit but don't have the balls 2 follow through so far but his # is coming sooner rather than later hopefully. Wow, this story is incredible. There is so much going on and you can’t help but be pulled into the story. It is also so steamy it will make you blush. Tamara, Rafe and Vin are so much more than just a triad they are perfect for one another. If you want a read that is a hot menage and has action, this story is for you.

Amazing storyline. Myths told in a beautifully twisted way. Zeus and Hera are delicious. The characters are too die for! This time Elle Boon has as always outdone herself.

The second installment of the Ravens of War, Two for Tamara, is a steamy, sexy novel written by the talented Elle Boon. Elle breathes life into the world of Gods, demons, demigods and more. Get swept away in this magical world and you may want to bring a fan because it gets HOT.
Despite an instant attraction to the two warriors, the feisty Cajun/Spanish Tamara, wants nothing to do with the pair. Rafe and Vin, immortal demigods are prepared to respect the human woman’s wishes despite the knowledge that she is their Fated until a run in with a demon bounty hunter thrusts the vulnerable woman into harms way. You will find yourself immediately swept into the funny and endearing battle of wills between the threesome at the wedding of Max, Selena, and Malcolm.
Although the trio maintained their proverbial virginity until halfway through chapter three they made up for it with a bang, pun definitely intended. The first scene was long, hot and sexy, but be prepared for some head hopping during these scenes. The psychic connection Rafe and Vin shared made it difficult at times to keep things straight. While I have no doubt that telepathy can come in handy from time to time, I was never fully sure who was doing what at any given time and the page breaks didn’t make that any easier to follow.
While, thankfully there are no shortages of hot sex scenes in the book, there is plenty of action the keep the pace of the book fast. Between the demonic cab drivers, giant sink holes, pixie-esque demonesses and evil (and kinky) Titans, there is plenty going on in this novel.
When Tamara found herself in the hands of her best friends greatest enemy, she’s rescued by not only a slew of hunky demigods but a very unlikely ally not once but twice.
Despite the constant sex and action, there were places where the dialogue felt forced and flat. Especially in the scenes with more than the three main characters. Often a lack of dialogue tags and group telepathy made it a struggle to figure out who was talking which made it a struggle sometimes to follow along. There were also instances of gratuitous magic.I know, I know it’s an urban fantasy erotica, of course there is lots of magic. There are more than one instance where the magic was not organic, almost as if the only purpose of the magic was to show that Rafe and Vin were magical.
Overall I give the sex four hot and steamy stars, the plot four stars and the writing three stars. I definitely recommend this book, it’s a quick, fun ,read with plenty of hot sex and hunky alpha males.

Tamara Mejia knows that a dark cloud follows her every move, that death stalks her. Unbeknownst to her, so do two Ravens — Rafe and Vin — but for an entirely different purpose. They want her. They want her to be their Fated mate.
Tamara has no interest in loving anyone at this point in her life. She’s just trying to get through one day to the next. She seems to be succeeding until the wedding of her best friend Selena, to her Fated mates, Max and Malcolm. Unable to control the tears for what she will never have, she heads to her retreat.
After a series of unfortunate events brings Rafe and Vin back into her world, her walls begin to crack and she lets herself fall into the arms of these warriors.
I really enjoyed this book. I liked the way the characters interacted with each other and how the characters from the first book played a large role in this one. The loyalty that Tamara and Selena have to each other is remarkable and shows that true friendship knows no boundaries. I also liked the fact that Tamara could give that same loyalty to the new friends who helped her escape and repay that debt later.
Desire long denied builds to a frenzy. Tamara gives herself to Vin and Rafe, body and soul. Vin and Rafe, separately and together, have given themselves to her, knowing if anything happens to her, they will be lost. The chemistry between the triad is palpable as the love between them. Their duty to shield Tamara is only overshadowed by her need to protect them.
I would have liked to have seen more discussion about Tamara’s new powers – how they came to be and how she can use them. I would have also liked to have seen more of her brothers, Remi and Leon. I have a feeling they are more than what they appear to be and I hope that they play a role in future books.
Grab a tall glass of water and fan because this book will leave you burning for more.

Two For Tamara continues Elle Boon Ravens of War. This story picks up from where book 1, Selena's Men leaves off. Tamara is Selena's best friend and the two women are closer than sisters. Tamara is happy that her friend has found love and happiness with her two men Malcolm and Max and she wants a similar happiness for herself. However, Hell is coming for her and she has a premonition of her death. So imagine her utter shock when two of the Ravens, Vin and Rafe, begin to vie for her affections. At first, Tamara keeps the men at arms length. But, an intense scare and a night of passion bind the trio together in passion...a passion which quickly blooms into love. Don't forget though...Hell really is after Tamara and a series of near misses almost cause her to lose the men she loves. But through Tamara's battle for lasting love, she is aided by the unlikeliest of allies who you actually cheer for and ache for when they experience a crushing blow.
I really enjoy how Boon weaves together a dash of mythology with a whole lot of sexy and fighting off a horrible baddy in between. These stories are both entertaining (the Mal/Max dynamic tickles me) and engaging. I also enjoy seeing glimpses into the other Ravens stories. It definitely leaves me eagerly waiting to read about them.

Another wonderful book in this series!!!
Rafe Blackstone and best friend Vin Thorn were both shocked upon meeting their fellow Ravens Fated's best friend Tamara Mejia. The golden glow they saw around her had her running for the hills or the beach as the case may be.
At Selena's wedding Tamara couldn't help what her vision saw and all she could do id decide to live her life for the moment and enjoy it.With what she knew she could not get tangled up with the Two huge sexy ravens no matter ho bad her body wanted to.
With nerves on edge after almost being attacked and Tamara shaking from the scene who should come rumbling up behind her none other then Rafe.
Needing to care for his omorfia mou he sent a message to VIn to meet him back at her home and what he saw had happened. She needed them and that was that. This is just the beginning of this action packed book....
Demons, hell, and Cronus oh my Cronus will stop at nothing to get his hands on his youngest granddaughter still even taking her best friend not knowing she is the fated of yet to more ravens will that titian ever learn.

I fell in love with the Ravens of War after book 1, and I have to say that book 2, Two for Tamara is just as exciting, just as sexy and just as wonderful.
Two for Tamara picks up at where book 1 left off. We see the wedding of the King brothers to Selena and we see Rafe Blackstone and Vin Thorn both captivated and allured by Tamara Mejia. Rafe and Vin have shared women in the past, and they are willing to share Tamara as well if she is truly their fated. But Tamara keeps running from them, not because she is not attracted to them, but because when she looks at them she sees her own death.
When events occur that call for Rafe and Vin to step in and protect Tamara, they all give in to what has been building since they first layed eyes on each other. But when Tamara is taken from them, used at a pawn in a twisted game to capture Selena and Zeus, it will take everything that Rafe, Vin and the rest of the Ravens have to get her back and protect the ones that they love.
I truly loved the turn of events in the book. The suspense, the connections between the characters, the fact that the Kings and Selena still played a big part in the story was a bonus. I can't wait to read more of the fantastic series.
I give it 5 sexy stars!

LOVED IT!!!!
Ms. Boon's last book (Salena's Men) was a great read, but Two for Tamara is even better, if that's even possible!?
The interaction between Rafe (my favorite from Selena's) and Vin are wonderful. "The Twins" are still up to their head smacking antics, and Selena is just as awesome as before! I love a series that doesn't just drop the first characters, and the fact that she was able to add MORE to this story? Fabulous! She didn't just add new characters she had them interact all together in a wonderful way that makes you fall in love with them all over again! Even the older characters from the first book are better, more in depth than before.
The overall plot of the book is wonderful. It just grabs you from the get-go and doesn't let go until the very end! I laughed and cried and yes, I admit it, I screamed at the bad guys and sometimes even the good guys. I think I drove my husband insane; reading all night long and being rather umm… vocal about it too!
I can't wait to dive into Jacklyn's story!

This is the second book in the Ravens of War series I was given this book to review and because of it I have no background I did not know if the series or read the first book. that said even with no prior knowledge of the characters I loved it.
Tamara can't help but fall hard for Rafe and Vin two sexy strong Ravens that know she is their fated,but she's protecting a secret that makes her want to keep them at a distance, but fate lends a hand to them. I loved getting to know Tamara and her Ravens and meeting the new friends they make along the way as the Ravens find themselves battling Cronus for Tamara's life. The whole story is gripping and super hot and sexy. I can't wait to read the next Ravens of war series.

This is the second book in the Raven’s of War series. Tamara is the best friend of Selena (Selena's Men). She has been having visions of her own death and when she meets Rafe she runs from him. Several months later she also meets Vin, but because of her visions she doesn’t want to become attached. Rafe and Vin have been best friends for millennia, and during that time they have been searching for the one meant just for them. They didn’t know it would be one woman between them. Will they be able to help Tamara and build a life or has fate already taken that choice from them? This is another great read from Elle Boon, and I really enjoy her take on the Greek Gods.

I really liked Tamara in this book. She is such a strong character who has had to harden her heart and not get attached. She believes she has seen the future and it leaves an impression and the domino effect affects others.
Rafe and Vin hadn't planned on sharing a mate but don't seem to mind when they meet Tamara. There isn't jealousy between these two just love and understanding.
The book is full of suspense and action. Just when you think you have things figured out, something comes up.
This is hold onto your seats type of book that you won't be able to put down.

Two for Tamara
WOW!This was intriguing to say the least. Tamara finds out that her true love is actually two demigods - Rafe and Vin. They are part of the Ravens. As always, Cronus is up to no good. He is still trying to get his granddaughter and her father. As the story progresses, we see Tamara become immortal. The end is truly dramatic when the Ravens and Zeus fight Cronus and his demons. The being Balky is saved by Vin and Rafe only to disappear on them. I would like to know what he is. Anyway, once again the Ravens and Zeus win this fight. Tamara has found her true loves in Rafe and Vin and they work on their happily ever after! FANTASTIC job Elle! I would recommend this book.
