A sad and emotional tale ....
...
testing the bond between the 3 lovers.

Jonah goes to visit Randell's brother after losing a chess game with him. The King is restless as Jonah should have been back some time ago. Randell is busy with accepting their new lady into their court. The King was not in the mood.
Jonah suddenly appeared behind his guard who announced he was back. After a passionate hello, Jonah had a difficult task ahead of him. He told the King why he was late. Vantra, Randell's brother has gone mad.
The King was troubled by what he heard, talking to Randell, he wanted to solve it without him. Randell, unhappy about this, disobeyed his King.
They go through many trials, all of them, until the King has to make one harsh heart breaking decision.
There should be more stories but as yet this is the last one at the moment.
The characters are more enjoyable if you read the books in order. They develop along with the relationships developing, as you progress through the stories.
I hope Yamila Abraham does come back to this series, as it has been fun to read.

Smutty smut smut. Probably the most smutty I have ever read from Yamila (and made me a buying fan). This story and the rest of the series is undeniably erotic dreams coming true. What I like best is that this is quite the polyamorous relationship- that may be also why it is a dream come true. Sweet virgin (not for long, like, at all) and slutty, but powerful ruler and his sadistic companion. I've read the rest as well, and I loved them all. They are also stories I have reread- not a common thing for me!

Not my taste
If you still enjoy yaoi manga or bawdy bodice rippers you'll probably enjoy this. The men in this fiction very much play to the old yaoi cliche where it feels very much like I'm reading a bunch of over dramatic women acting in men's bodies. I didn't feel like there was enough description during the steamy bits, and there was a repetitive theme in the fetish play. I felt that area could have stood to be more varied and imaginative. I found myself really bored with the sex by the end. If you like your men to act like men in your gay fiction, this is not for you.
