This was a solid first book in what I hope will become a series, had a interesting take on the supernatural in this one in regards to Vamps and how they acquire powers - I really enjoyed that new outlook.

The writing was solid, the action scenes were very well written and the flashbacks helped build an even better back story and world for our characters.

One thing that bothered me was how often the MC needed to roll his smokes, kinda took the flow out of the story in some parts for me...things are going down and characters are finally figuring evil plots out - hold on let me roll a cig, cause you know, I'm a vampire and need my fix?

Other then that solid book, I'll for sure read the next one.

This story had an interesting concept. The take on the werewolves and vampires and their history with one another was fun to read. However, there were several grammatical errors throughout the book that distracted me as a reader (most of them involving possessives), but I've recently discovered this book was accepted with a publishing company and will hit shelves again mid-2015. I can’t wait to see what it turns into! I have high hopes for it.

Disappointing plot.

This book was ok. The plot was very disappointing, it seemed to be no problems for the main character. The ending was rather acute, and didn't explain very much. Though I enjoyed it, so this is my 4/5.
