Bloom, fairy of the dragon flame, Stella, fairy of the Sun and the Moon, Flora, fairy of nature, Musa, fairy of music, Tecna, fairy of technology, are fairies who learn to master their powers at the university of Alfea. United by friendship, they fight for a final goal: to win their Charmix, Enchantix, the Believix, the Lovix and the Sophix, powers that fairies reach when they become adults. To do this, they must come to the aid of their planet and free fairies from Earth.
An engineering graduate, he started writing comics since high school. He began his career as a screenwriter when he met an older two-year-old illustrator, Giorgio Cavazzano, who needed someone who could help him emerge as an independent artist. Pezzin began collaborating with Arnoldo Mondadori Editore, for which the Pezzin-Cavazzano duo produced numerous stories published both on Almanacco Topolino and on other Disney magazines. But Pezzin didn't just write Disney stories. Assisted by Cavazzano for the drawings, Pezzin wrote the texts of the series (created by him) Walkie and Talkie, Oscar and Tango, Smalto and Jonnhy and Captain Rogers. Later the duo separated and Pezzin, always continuing to work for Mondadori, also wrote comic stories for Bonelli like some by Zagor and several by Il piccolo ranger.
After the comic book Topolino passes from Mondadori to Disney Italia, Pezzin starts dedicating itself almost exclusively to Disney characters, creating stories for various magazines such as Paperinik, Minni & company etc.
With the designer Massimo De Vita he has designed numerous successful Disney comic sagas such as Once Upon a Time ... in America, The Lords of the Galaxy, the Adventures of Tops de Tops and the Time Machine Saga. He also scripted stories for younger children like those of Cip and Ciop and the Little Mermaid.
In recent years Pezzin has stopped collaborating with Disney and has dedicated himself to the scripts of the Winx comic stories, published on the Winx Club.
it follows Bloom training and getting to meet once again with Brandon and Sky, and getting to know more about Sky (i'll refer to him as his real name, as he's the true Prince Sky, not Brandon). Bloom suggests calling her friends group Winx club, which Stella, Techna, Flora, and Musa agree on. Bloom and Sky get to talk more as Brandon leaves with Stella in the airplane. Stella and Brandon encounter some dangers when the troll breaks free of its cage and makes the airplane fall. Bloom and Sky go in the rescue and together they defeat the trolls.

The Boys From Red Fountain Plot: The Red Fountain Guys (Prince Sky and Brandon) are tasked with an important mission. And that is delivering a troll to a dangerous area and setting it free. Only they get side-tracked when "Prince Sky" spots the Winx and stops to get his flirt on with Stella. He then whisks her away on a scenic air view of the highest waterfalls on their way to the drop off the troll. This is after Stella's and the Winx cement their bond to stay loyal to one another. Which forces the girl's into an awkward position not to rat Stella out. Things go left when an unknown force screws with "Prince Sky's" aircraft which breaks the force field, causing the Troll to escape and the aircraft to crash land. Meanwhile, we see the other Winx girls form attractions to some of the other Red Mountain guys. Bloom and "Brandon" don't quite hit it off so well after their interactions at the dance and in the forest. But we do see "fiery" feelings sparked within Bloom (figuratively and literally) Musa is intrigued by the mysterious Riven. And Techna finds out she has more than she thinks in common with a nerdy Red Mountain boy named Timmy. And the Witches of Cloud Tower make an appearance. Lurking and hidden waiting for the chance (that doesn't come") seeing their opportunity to steal Stella's scepter.
MY THOUGHTS: This was actually BETTER than the episode! (Which wasn't one of my favorites). I liked that these comics tell the same story but different. For instance, in this issue, the girl's aren't doing some kind of physical challenge through the courses of nature. They're working on dance choreography to improve their fighting skills so they'll be able to move together in unison. AND what I LOVED is after all this time we get more than just Bloom in the episode holding up a sign that says she thought up the name WINX. This issue is so BRILLANT it explains WHY and HOW they came to name themselves Winx. I don't know if I ever took the time to wonder the meaning of their name. I thought it was pronounced (WINKS). Come to find out it's (WINGS). Because they identify themselves with butterflies. I can see that! Since I already have seen the episodes I know two people in this aren't who they say they are & I noticed a tiny hint that if you haven't watched the cartoon you might not catch the slip in the drawing. But I don't think the person who made the slip even knows. It's just in the drawings speech bubble. And we get to see Bloom come into her "fire". Giving us another hint about her later origin. Sometimes this issue felt disjointed. It seemed like the girls were discussing the boys after the dance. But you couldn't if Stella and Skye's adventure was just mashed in because it seemed like Bloom and Skye had gotten to know each other a little better and bonded but when they're talking she's still wondering why he walked away from her and left her hanging at the dance. And then I wondered was the troll, Knox. Somehow it fit in the cartoon that after the Red Mountain guys captured him in Episode 1 that they'd take him to this forest, but I guess in trying to keep these comics fresh, and slightly alternative versions that meshing the original material in also gets VERY UNCLEAR & CROWDED. And if that's the case then just leave some of the original stuff out without trying to make it fit. I'm fine with the differences. It was also interesting to see that the witches didn't want the Red Mountain boys to think bad of them. LOL SINCE WHEN? Not that in the cartoon they had anything against them that I remember but they weren't trying to leave a good impression on them either. That felt slightly off to me. They're WITCH'S & they REALLY shouldn't care what ANYONE thinks of them. But I liked this issue! It shows LOYALTY. The Loyalty of WINX to each other & the beginning romances of WINX and the Red Mountain guys.
ah.. poor little Musa deserves so much better. I remember how awkward it was to read girls talk about boys. I was really shy back then but now it just feels weird because of their age. I guess it's normal since they are teenagers. I won't be criticising this because Winx had some real teaching moments about toxic relationships these are all spoilers of course. Happy Reading!
This story was okay. I think Stella is manipulative, and Sky just does what he wants without thinking of the consequences. Which you can see in this story.
