I was pleasantly surprised with this read, as I wasn't quite sure what I was getting into with this one. What a unique and interesting storyline that pulled me in right away. Knox already had been dealt a bad hand by being in an orphanage in the first place, but to fall into the hands of that evil bih Ms. Vlad was hell. 🤬 My heart broke at the things those children endured in her "care". I still wonder what Knox happened upon that put him on the run. I don't think it was spoken about on page, other than he was set up. Anywho, allowing himself some time for himself and to breath was his current mission, and Fiji was the destination.
Skye, fed up with her family meddling in her personal life, just wanted some peace. With working all the time and the constant smothering, she was fed up. The gentle nudge by her friend Jim to take a solo vacation was just what she needed.
Although the meeting of Knox and Skye didn't give off the greatest of impressions, they were both smitten with the other. Knox knew to steer clear of this woman or anyone for that matter, but he just couldn't resist her. Skye put herself out there with Knox as she was intrigued by him, and he was fine as hell. 😂 In just a few days they both had become inseparable, and feelings were beginning to form. Knox knew he had to disengage to keep her safe, but the ish had already caught up to them.
I enjoyed learning of Knox's capabilities in trying to keep Skye safe and the lengths that he would go for her. When it was all brought to light of Skye's parents' involvement, it felt like it was just brushed over and not addressed. Why didn't Skye confront her parents about what she learned? She had every right to be angry with them for putting her in this situation, but nothing. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed this read and would love to learn about VC. 👍🏾👍🏾

OMG this was such a fun read!! I love this book so much, especially how fast paced everything was. Knox and Skye are the literal definition of SOULMATES!!! Not gonna lie there were times when I was more focused on our side character VC then our main ones…I just know that if he has his own book I will love every minute of it. I don’t have a lot to say but just know that I need everyone to read this book!!

GOOD READ
I enjoyed this book. It definitely had my attentI reallyion from beginning to end. The action, mystery, and suspense will have you wondering what type of business these characters are in. I loved how Knox and Skye met, but I didn't expect their unknown connection to run so deep. As truths are revealed, it just pushed them closer, in protective mode of one another, and the realization that they truly are what each other needs. I was happy they were able to overcome the drama and focus on their relationship the right way.

I absolutely loved this book! I went in blind and I’m so glad I did, it made the experience even more thrilling. I felt like I was right in the middle of an action-packed love story. Knox and Skye’s meeting was anything but ideal, yet it set the stage for something truly beautiful. Their journey was filled with heart-pounding moments, deep emotions, and a love that felt meant to be. When they finally decided to take a chance and truly live, life rewarded them with each other.

The description doesn't even give you a clue to what this book is. I though I was getting a "romance" when I got "Action". Yah this book is not what I thought it would be.

On The Run.
Wow. This story was beautifully written! The suspense & romance was something I’m not used to reading. I enjoyed every moment in this story! Oh My Girl Skye took control in that one situation and I loved it. A female that can hold her own weight gets me every time! Iesha Can we get a part 2? Because where is VC?

Going on a solo trip was a way for her to tell her family , she can do things on her own and won’t seek permission from them any longer. While she was enjoying her solo trip ,she bumps into Knox. His energy lets her know instantly that he is someone she wanted to get to knows
Knox presented himself to Skye as a nobody knowing fully well his life as an assassin may complicate things for them and indeed his career lands his new love in a life threatening situation.

Mystery, drama, suspense, which finally led to love.
Um, this was very, very interesting story. Knox running right into the woman who would change his life forever more.
Knox, the mysterious, protective man, and Skye a giver to all. I liked Skye being the pursuer. Knox being pursed and apprehensive about it. But eventually, he went along with getting to know Skye, when he felt he really shouldn't until he couldn't deny himself anymore.
Oh, the secrets that unfolded about him & her parents, keeping Skye safe, and dealing with the people that stole his life, were Knox's priorities. Once handled, he could move on and stop running. I like the progression of their love story.
What I didn't like was Skye getting an attitude with her best friend, because she put her fiance first, but not purposely ignoring her. She sounded like a grown jealous woman. Glad that she met a new friend, Jim, to add to her mix. He was wise and gave her a new perspective, encouraging her to focus on herself.
I saw the King's Resorts in here. ♥️♥️ Would love to read a story on VC.

I definitely thoroughly enjoyed this read it was something a different, and the way that it waws delivered was great. Knox had gone through so much in his life and he was literally living it as a ghost that couldn't be free from the shackles of his past. He makes the decision to live at least once before he loses the chance to ever get to do it later. Skye decides to take a leap of faith and go on a solo vacation; this leads to her run in with Knox who she doesn't actually know his real name. There meet was def a cute cliche one, but I love a good cliche😅. This world wind romance def kept me intrigued. I loved that Knox was experiencing things that he had not gotten to experience growing up. I like the speed at which they fell in love and the lengths he went to make sure that she was safe. Overall this was def a good story. I can't wait until VC because I think it's gone be 2nd chance with the hint of him having someone and then having to let go!!!👀

I enjoyed this!! I loved the mix between romance and suspense and the SUSPENSE was written really really well, had me looking over my damn shoulder🤣 I loved the themes of learning how to enjoy life by yourself and not waiting for anyone or a life partner, Skye definitely needed to learn that lesson!! And in the end she ended up as the main character in an action movie 🤣 you never know where life will take you! I also enjoyed Knox and I enjoyed watching him do what he never thought he could… love 🥰

Okayyyyy so Knox & Skye were an interesting match up to me. It was love at first sight! Skye had moments where she was soooo annoying. Yes you found yourself & began using your voice but SOMETIMES when it came to him she needed to STFU cause we see how that played out. Knox opened up (in a way) & that’s when he was placed in the most danger. I honestly don’t think they were there for him in Fiji BUT it worked out for them both! To know you didn’t know people as well as you thought would’ve torn me up but Skye held on! Chyna pissed me off but after their talk I HOPE they’re okay. I want a story from VC & the rest of the crew !

This was a fast paced story but cute nonetheless. If you want a quick story to read this is a nice one. Reading Knox handle emotions he’s never felt was satisfying. He met his girl and tried to fight it at first but just couldn’t leave her alone. It was also nice how their lives were intertwined in ways before them simply meeting each other. I really just wish we got more details because this story could’ve definitely been longer and more action packed. That’s honestly my only complaint but it didn’t even bother me enough to remove a star.

Fast paced, short read. I liked majority of the book. What knocked the rating down was the strange bed scenes - it build the tension up and then I blinked once and all was done? Also, in some situations I'd like to get more details.
I'd be definitely interested in VC's story. Maybe all others from the team (pity they showed up for just the last fight). Also, how FMC's parents decided to help the kids as they promised?

Highly recommend
This is the first book that I’ve read from Ms.Lesha and I gotta say this had me hooked. I loved how the FMC took time for herself after putting everyone 1st in her life. I loved the character growth that was represented when she went off by herself. I really enjoyed her writing style. Knox was such an interesting character. Absolutely loved him. Can’t wait to read more by her. Also can’t wait to read VC story

Great read, I loved the characters and storyline. Skye and Knox met while on vacation in Fiji. Skye is on her first vacation alone and Knox has come out of hiding from his former employer. Their attraction is instant, but Knox fears he may put her in danger, if they connect. This is an action packed story filled with adventure. This is their journey to love with all the bumps in the road.

My girl don’t miss!! This was definitely a great read!! Everyone deserves love even those that are broke and don’t think they do. I loved how Skye threw caution to the wind to finally step out her comfort zone to find herself and live for her. Despite the twist turns and bumps in the road, in the end it was worth it. Knox was definitely everything she needed and more. I definitely want a story on VC!

This book was so good. Skye was so many women with family making you feel like without a man you're incomplete. Knox did not believe he deserved love but he soon found out. Val got what she deserved. I'm still side eyeing Skye's mom and dad. If you like an action packed short love story this is amazing.

Beautiful
I was rooting for these two from the very beginning. Knox had such a horrible childhood and the loneliness was felt thru the pages. Skye was looking for love and I'm glad she found it in Knox, he was able to find peace with her. Good read.

Very good read
I have read your whole catalog and I by far loved this one. It was so.different from the others. I like how if wasn't your typical love story but yet touched on childhood trauma and what was in store when you overcome it. I highly recommend this book to all.
