Drunk Monkeys are still trying to discover the missing scientists and save the world from virus Kite, while evil Reverent Silo is orchestrating massive outbreaks in USA using poor and dump volunteers as virus’ hosts.

The recipe of Kite is now known and Silo wants nothing more than to step in and take over the country.

Due to mutations the virus has a killing rate now of 98%, which is a bit of improvement. It used to be 99% in the previous book.

Twins Oscar and Yankee fall in love with India a tough girl who is a nurse at a clinic in Mexico, when the Drunk Monkeys visit the clinic. The team has discovered that one of the missing scientists is hiding there.

India is a strong girl who knows how to take care herself, although her fascination about castration and her tequila drinking habit in large quantities make her look a bit scary.

"Twunks" (twin & hunks) Oscar and Yankee are just sweethearts :)

The Romance Review

Scared of the ebola virus news in current events? Let Ms. Dalton give her theories on how it will all play out.

Book two in the Drunk Monkey series is just as fun as the first. This time, the team is heading to Mexico. Mexico is known for passionate Latina women and lust driven one-night stands to take a man's mind off the world imploding, right? Did they mention the nurse who gleefully castrates men caught sexually violating women? Sometimes, when a small community bands together, justice is swifter than expected.

India Pelletier finally feels at home in Mexico. She's the nurse running a clinic without a doctor. She is waiting patiently for a doctor to arrive to help her. When her term is up, she knows she can go to other places, but where would it be safe? Back home in the US, the Kite virus is becoming more prevalent. Her parents have thrown their life savings away to a con-man. Perhaps staying in Mexico is the best choice, if only she could find a man to help alleviate her lonely nights.

When the Drunk Monkeys blow into town on a mission to find the next doctor on the list, India is caught up in their harebrained schemes. Twins Oscar and Yankee are paired up with India. For those who love twin ménage, this book will appease the need for two studly brothers performing the horizontal salsa with a hot nurse. Hello, Nurse!

What makes this book so fun is the snarky dialogue between the characters. India is a fiery woman who knows what she wants. Her courage and kindheartedness is admirable. Her fierce vengeance when someone commits a wrong is bloodthirsty and satisfying. Oscar and Yankee are rather forgettable when paired up with India. The sex they have together is hot yet it doesn't really do it for me. For those used to Ms. Dalton's kinkier sex, this may be a bit too tame. Still, the sex is just a small part of the story. This series is more plot driven and it's a blast to read.

The suspense when trying to find the mole and the doctors on the list is what keeps a reader coming back to this story. How will it all end? How will they find the doctors? Will the virus mutate out of control and become even deadlier? The story catches a reader's attention and keeps it until the book is done. Warning, do not start this book late at night. Recommended for apocalypse lovers who are ready for the zombies.

Okay, so this one was better than the first one.

I've started a few other books since finishing this yesterday (yes, yesterday and I've already started and stopped like 5 books because they were awful), but I think my only complaint with this one was honestly.... India's code name. Clara? That's not a very good code name, especially when the rest of the group is Papa, Doc, Yankee, Pandora, Sin, Q, etc. Clara as a code name stands out. Honestly India would have sounded more realistic when said with the other code names India, Yankee, Oscar... sorry, I had to say the phonetic alphabet a lot where I worked, so yeah those were all said, and India was used.

India figuring out that Reverend Silo was the baddie based off the information she had felt a little thin, but I get that the group needed to figure it out somehow at some point in the series. It just could have been done a bit better.

All in all, not bad.

And the term Twunks did actually make me chuckle.

The plot thickens as the Drunk Monkeys continue to find doctors on The List. Another couple of monkeys fall victim to love and lucky for them, their new love interest is a benefit for the team so Papa agrees to bring her into the fold. Kite is far from being irraticated at this point and Silo is continuing his plotting.

I thought this book was ok, but not as good as the first book in this series "Monkey Business."

Another doctor on The List has been traced to India's clinic, and that's where the special force team of Drunk Monkeys end up. Again, these books are somewhat short, and for the level of world-building that's going on, we don't get to spend much time with the main characters: twins Oscar and Yankee (real names Lance and Vance) and India, a nurse working at a clinic in a very small rural town in Mexico. I just couldn't seem to find the chemistry between these three. I liked them all ok, although when India kept referring to the guys as "twunks" (twin + hunks), it made me cringe. Don't get me wrong, India is a great heroine; smart, strong, dedicated, and hell, anyone that castrates sexual predators gets a big thumbs up in my book. And Oscar and Yankee seem to be great guys, but these three just didn't click for me, not in the way that Tango, Celia, and Doc did from the first novel.

Outside of the romance, this was still a good book. As I said in my earlier review, the villain in here is a sick little monkey (pun intended) and I ended up having to read really fast over the chapters written from his POV. He's seriously disturbed.

Tymber Dalton seems to be turning these out really fast (the next one is already up for pre-order on Bookstrand.com) so there's always a new book to look forward to. This isn't a series that you can skip around in as events that occur in this novel appear to have an impact on the next one's plot.

Well, India is sure an interesting character. She is blunt to a point, from her work at the clinic, to finding out about the Drunk Monkeys and their mission, to asking for sex from a couple of the Monkey's, I liked that quality about her. India just seemed to roll with the punches with each new fact she learned. She really fit in with the guys and Pandora, even had some contacts that helped them out and made a big leap in thinking that has the potential to really help them in the future. It will be interesting where things go from here for the group.

Another great addition to the Drunken Monkey's series. Will the Drunken Monkey's save the world from the pandemic and the evil Rev. Silo?
