Defenseless is a captivating story about a young man who struggles with the path to reconciliation after suffering a brutal beating. The tale is poignantly laced with cinematic and musical references that translate his desire to grasp validity and truth for his actions, thoughts and feelings. The narration is smooth and enthralling urging the reader to press forth.
The characters aptly reflect ‘generation Y’ by revealing a sense of entitlement towards justice. However the story emanates personal growth through reflection as you can see the main character growing up as he deliberates and reveals his emotions. The minute I turned the first page it was hard for me to put this story down. A fine first piece of work that only displays a promising future for Peter Wilson.

Thank to goodreads for giving me the chance to win this book in their giveaway!!
This is a really good book about revenge and e choice we made! The story is realistic and you cant helpasking youraelf what you would have done in the place of the main character, and that take you on a kind of philosophy hourney!! The story have a lot of good reference to movie and pop culture in general that personnaly like a lot, because a lot of them where refering to movie or author that i have seen or readed! At some point i fearfor the ending, butthe author was able to keep away from the happy ending/everything went well/hollywood style that i hateso much. Peter Wilson keep us on a good ending with the sad and good thing, like it is most of the time in real live, anything is all black or white in life, neither is it in that book! Well I recommended it very much if you like to read good atory that make you think about life nd bout yourself, because this story could have happen to any of us!

Last thing, a peronnal bote to the author. Your story is amazing Peter and I hope you will keep on writing because i will like to read more of your story. You have great talent so dont let go of it!
