A woman suspects her colleague (surname is Strait, as per the book title) isn't as perfect as he seems, which ultimately puts her family under threat.
This had a suspenseful climax, but getting there was sometimes a bit of a struggle. The characters don't act like people would in real life, just to keep the plot going. If certain characters (hello Mary) had just talked to one another like normal people, a lot of drama could have been avoided! I prefer my suspense not to feel so artificially created!
