Ready to learn not just the "how," but the "why" behind Photoshop's mostpowerful features? I was already an experienced Photoshop user when I picked up this book quite a while back. The book world is filled with tips + tricks books but there really aren't many out there which talks about the fundamentally important topics: the technical stuff on color, curves and levels.

Ben has an uncanny way of explaining expert-level knowledge into everyday languages and is one of the best technical writers I have come across.

This full-color book is well illustrated and very well designed overall. I have used Photoshop for almost 15 years now and this remains the #1 book that I recommend to anyone who wishes to learn about Photoshop.
