This is a TEEN WOLF fanfic. Some people really hated this story. It's true. Derek at the beginning was a total prick. But if you continue, you see him start to change around. Though, at first you could blame it on his wolf. I personally thought it was written well and flowed easily.
So, we have Stiles. He is a spark, so he has some abilities. He just started college and goes out on a full moon to a bar, where he meets Derek, an aloof Alpha who is very demanding. They have a passionate night together(though unprotected). The next morning, Stiles sees that Derek is up front and kicks him out. It was only a one-night stand. But then Stiles sees Derek(coincidentally) and Derek (Mr. Ego) just assumes Stiles is stalking him and isn't to kind to Stiles about it.
Then, Stiles finds out he is pregnant and ends up telling Derek. That is when Derek the Asshole all of a sudden changes his tune. It is a changing point in the story. But Stiles isn't easily swayed. He tells Derek he is an asshole.
So, as the story continues, Stiles and Derek have to 'start over'. They have to learn to tolerate one another and work together. Maybe after they get to know each other, a romantic relationship could form, but Derek has a lot to deal with(inner demons and a past) if he expects anything hopeful or loving to come about with Stiles.
There is drama, meddling, angst... if you are willing to stick it out. I ended up liking Derek, though he took a while to grow on me. The ending was pretty decent too. Also, we have a surprise development that involves Stiles friends... but I won't spoil it.
There is an epilogue(I love those) that helps wrap things up. There is also another sequel to this.

I enjoyed the book. The only problem was that Derek was an ahole and I skimmed toward the end. It could have done with some editing.

I liked it. A bit different and I really liked the prick Derek was in the beginning because on the actual show he was the same.
Read again and enjoyed again.
