Wonderful little book. Eloquent L.J.K. Setright explains Automotive highlights. His love for the - almost forgotten - British car maker Bristol sipping through throughout the book. But he is forgiven. Many a insight into the automotive history makes it a lovely read.

This book was written by someone capable of explaining the intricacies of the engineering challenges that each featured automobile overcame. You will have to have some comprehension of issues of hydraulics, center of gravity, oversteer, understeer, etc. to appreciate the analysis. The author is a well-educated Brit, and it shows.
