One of the most uncompromising, bizarre, and erotic novels to emerge from the Victorian underground, written by an anonymous author in c1890, 'First Training' recounts the sexual coming of age of a young Victorian woman.

Under strict and sagely tutelage, Clara will succumb to pleasures unparalleled and, in so being trained in the arts of spanking and flagellation, learns to bend all, men and women alike, to her lascivious will.

This is one of the best erotic novels of the Victorian age that I have read

This book is extremely well written (possibly by a woman) It's articulate, the storyline well modulated and plausible (allowing for the nature of the subject matter, of course). This is definitely a book for a couple to read in order to get them in the mood for an enormous encounter !!

I want to make it clear that I rate all my books on a scale, including how memorable the story is. This is one that I will definitely not be forgetting any time soon. It’s intended to be erotic, but in today’s standards, it’s horrifying. A true marvel of the psychological thriller genre.

If you enjoyed this book for its porn, you need to be on a watchlist.

This was published by Wordsworth as Classic Erotica. It’s one of the scandalous novels published originally under secret circumstances from the Victorian underground. It must have been extremely vulgar for it’s day because it’s one too tame even for these days – not so much for the style of the sexual encounters as for its overall theme of sexual dominance by women over me and the incestuous overtones. The heroine Clara is trained by her stepmother to claim everyone as her sexual stimulus – male or female, stranger or sibling. Eventually she becomes adept as her stepmother at spotting her sexual marks and training them for herself. Towards the end of the novel becomes mired in more sick and treacherous webs to snare victims & begins to become boring even as it titillates. The anticipation of Clara’s initiation is the only really good part.
