An End to a Beginning

Rate this book
You're standing outside the house of the man who helped murder your eight-year-old son. You have a gun in your pocket, one you've never fired before, one you've never had to. You're nervous, and you threw up a few minutes ago.

Some of it is still on your sleeve. You've heard the body has a strange way of coping with things that don't agree with it and, well, this is definitely one of 'em. Right now, you're in Brian's shoes, and he's been waiting five long years to be where he is at this very moment. He's dreamed, no, fantasized about it. Not in a sick way, at least he'd say so. It’s his purpose, the way a pencil eraser makes mistakes disappear. He wants to make it right, and even worse, as the night takes him from a dilapidated drug house to a shady motel outside of Toledo, Ohio, he already knows where everything will end…at the beginning.

Brian needs revenge. He paid his dues, waiting for the perfect moment, and now he finally gets his chance. When the big moment comes, will he go all the way through with his plan? Or will he be too weak to finish the job he promised to do?

If you have delicate sensibilities, you may not enjoy the graphic and somewhat gory details of this suspense tale. BUT If you love intense action with realistic violence, the matter-of-fact descriptions and in-the-moment narrative will have you hanging on to the edge of your seat all the way to the end of the ride.

AN END TO A BEGINNING was a well-written story of revenge and penance. The story of a father's undying love and the circumstances that drove him to insanity. A must-read for lovers of crime drama. This was written so realistically; it could very well-have been based on a true story.

A truly thrilling read from beginning to end. If you're a fan of Steven King or love to read high-suspense novels, this is the book for you. My only qualm about, "An End to a Beginning" is I wish it was longer! I didn't want the story to end (literally). ha ha. This was the first book I've read by the author and was pleasantly surprised. I've already ordered two more of his books off Amazon. Can't wait to read more!

After five long years, Brian tracks down the two men responsible for his young son's death. He vows to make them pay and follows through. The uniqueness in which this story is written will draw you in as though you are witnessing the chain of events first hand.

If you like action and suspense, you are in for a treat with this one. Fasten your seatbelt!
