Whew… Jahquel, don’t ever let us breathe, huh? 😮💨 You had me STRESSED, hollering, and locked in from page one! This whole book was chaos, closure, and a few deep sighs away from a group therapy session and prayer. Jahquel writes these messy, raw, complicated women SO well that it feels like I know them. You gon’ feel it all reading this: betrayal, heartbreak, growth, and a lil "lemme text my ex" moment.
Miss Tiffany a little sneaky ! ! ! She didn’t have to do Marquise like that ! ! ! Mezzie wasn’t playing no games with Melissa ! ! ! These characters were amazing and I would to read more about Lace ! ! !
This book was all over the place. When did Tiffany and Mezzi become thugs? Tiffany jumped from one man to the next man, I am happy that she figured out what she was doing towards the end. Tyrisha coming back from the dead was wild. It’s crazy how everything just fell into place. I don’t know how long Moses thought he was going to keep Tyrisha hidden. Just a lot going on like the last book. I am looking forward to Navigating through Ms. Jahquel’s catalogue to see her growth, though!

What a toxic - yet loyal friend circle. I like Jahquel's work! Very happy to have found her books and I look forward to reading more of her works. I enjoyed this last installment, very engaging and entertaining. At times I found myself yelling at the book like I would a movie, lol! She did a great job with the ending, but just as I stated in the Audible review; she has plenty room for a few spin-offs from this collection. Not one dull moment!
In my honest opinion, I felt as if this book wasn’t needed. Book 1 should have wrapped up the story and ended it.
This one added unnecessary drama to stir up some of the relationships, and families. It had a lot going on that wasn’t necessary in this book. I’m glad every one got the HEA in a way so that’s all that matters.
I loved this ending and how the couples went through it and came out on top. Reshawn thought he could do Mezzie like he did Tiff, but surprise and I loved me some Lace & Quinton, I knew they weren't finished. Excellent finale!!!
Betrayal, love, drug kingpins all are in this book. It takes a strong man and woman to go through the things these characters went through but in the end everyone got a happy ending.
I love all of Jahquel books but something about this series did not do it for me. The storyline was all over the place. Too many characters that were involved with or related to each other. The circle was so small. I hated this book as well as the first one.
I would give this read a 3.5⭐️. I know this was a re-release, but this was my first time reading this, so I guess it ended like it was supposed to. Did I agree with everything? No, but I will say Jahquel really did grow with her writing skills.
All I can say is damn . Love is crazy . Relationships and friendships change for the better and the worse . This series helps you explore all the trials and tribulations of siblings , friends and lovers .
This felt like it easily could have just been put in book 1. Intresting to see how everyone stories weaved together and how it all a panned out. I just wish there was more details on certain characters. Everyone doesn’t need a pov especially if it’s never really expounded on.
Part 2 was so much better. I love to see Jaquel’s writing evolve as I am going back through her catalog. I love her current writing style but always love her storyline. I love the chapters being from the character’s point of view.
I wasn't feeling this story. The characters were all over the place. I only read part 2 because I read part 1. The errors were ridiculous so you had to really focus to know what was going in. But the author did say it was her first book.
The way I was locked in to this story was insane. I just couldn’t put it down. The way that everyone got their get backs had me clutching all my pearls!
I am starting the Jacque J train and I wanted to start with her earlier work. She herself says the writing could be better, but the story was there and I did enjoy reading it.
