The final book in the epic Alex Hawk Time Travel Adventure saga!
Alex Hawk has trained the far-flung armies of Kragdon-ah. Now, Alex and his armies will face a fanatical enemy bent on taking over all of Kragdon-ah. Can the armies of Kragdon-ah stand up to the giant Northmen, or will they need help from an unexpected source?
Battle for Kragdon-ah is the ninth and final book in the Alex Hawk Time Travel Adventure series. Contains a special note from the author.
I don't normally do that, but there was the battle of all battles and some key characters didn't make it. Of course not everyone would - but oh, the ones that didn't! It's one thing to hear that hundreds of warriors died, because of course they did going up against such a formidable force. But the characters who were included in that just broke my heart.
This truly was a fitting end to the series. I'm tempted to go back and read the whole thing again, since it just gets better and better and better. I'm not caught up with Inmon's other time travel series so I'll have to do that - and I'll be so interested to see what he does next. Because wow, what a ride.
And I hope he gets someone as good as Johnathan McClain to narrate because he was fantastic.
An action packed adventure which neatly ties up Alex Hawk’s time in Kragdon-ah. Relationships and battles were well thought out as usual and the danger was real. I jumped on this book as soon as it was released. Glad I did.
This was an enjoyable series. I recommend it for those enjoying time travel adventures. The stories are well organized and keep the reader involved. Nice flow.

Saying goodbye to this story is hard but I wouldn't change this ending in any way. I cried so hard, I fell in love since day 1 with this series, with Alex and everything.
I don't even know what to say, is an amazing book like any other book Shawn drops on us of course... I'm going to miss Manda-ak OMG
Thank you for giving us this story. I'm sure I'll be reading it more than once
Please do yourself a favor and listen to it on Audible, the quality and the way each line was delivered by Johnathan McClain is beyond the world, Shawn is an insane author and at this point, I think my favorite author but listening to his books is a whole new experience.
Middle Falls is what drew me to Shawn Inmon and Alex Hawk is me striving to read he’s collected works.
I’ve spoken before about how the naming structure of Kragdon-ah can be confusing. He doesn’t spoonfeed the reader and there are so many characters to keep track of, many of whom are named in honor of other characters who have died along the way. Some I recognized right away and many just fell by the wayside as the books wore on.
I’ve given almost the entire series four stars for that reason, but not this time. The way it ended, the story it sought to tell, and the respect Shawn had for Alex’s journey really touched me, and I’m someone who completely gel with the overall journey, that’s saying quite a bit.
Inmon takes us back to Kragdon-ah for the final book in the Alex Hawk series. I love how Inmon has built the characters and maintained their friendships in a world where communication is a process. It is the end so you know your gonna travel down memory lane with the characters and cry when some of your favorites don't make it. But that is just evidence that Inmon has built charactera we love and relate to. Thank you for the journey Shawn! I hope to join you for another new adventure soon!
Shawn Onmon's epic series about Alex Hawk and the land and people's of Kragdon-ah comes to an end with this book. In a battle to end all battles, we see am amazing union of unexpected allies work together to protect the land from viscious invaders. Read this book. Read the whole series: you will be glad you did! I certainly am. These characters will stay with me for a long, long time. A+++ Bravissimo!!!
When I first downloaded A Door Into Time, an Alex Hawk Time Travel adventure written by Author Shawn Inmon to my Kindle, my first thought was how hokey is this? The first chapter in I was hooked! I just finished the 9th and final book and wish there was a tenth in this series. The characters developed into wonderful storylines that never became boring. I really enjoyed this series. Thank you, Mr. Inmon.
Shawn was, unlike a lot of authors, able to competently and compassionately end his 9-volume series. While I didn't particularly like the way some of the character's stories ended, I understood that the consequences in this final volume were going to be high. I look forward to Me Inmon's next man-out-of-time scenario, Stranded.
A wonderful saga! I accidentally fell into this universe and was caught up a bit, so it took me a few weeks to start the 2nd book, but after that, it was on! So glad I stuck with it. I highly recommend the entire series and this authors Middle Falls books. And if you read any of those they’ll pull you in on their own! Kudos to Shawn! 🐝🍯🐝🍯🐝💟☮️🌈
A terrific final book in this nine-book adventure/time-travel series.
A twentieth-century man, Alex Hawk, is thrown into the distant future (albeit a primitive, mainly stone-age one), and with his two daughters, tribal members, and new comrades, they battle a number of conquering armies, along with gigantic beasts of prey!
What a fantastic series the Alex Hawkes, Time travel adventures. Thank you so much Shawn Inmon for creating such a wonderful series with beloved characters in the world beyond imagination. You are truly a treasured author.
Just finished the last book in the 9 book series and it was another winner. Strong conclusion bringing it all together. Cant get enough of his books. Highly recommended.
I waited to read this one because I knew it was the end. It did not disappoint. I laughed. I cried. I couldn't wait to turn the next page. What an epic ride. Thanks, Shawn Inmon.
Absolutely loved this book …and the whole series. It’s easy to believe that it’s true, I can picture Shawn eyeing that door in the basement wondering what new world he will visit and what series he is going to jump into next.
I really enjoyed the adventures of Alex Hawk, I binge read all 9 books. He's become like an old friend. I'm really going to miss him, his giant dog and the people of dragon ah.
I really enjoyed this book as well as the rest of the series. Just like in the other books in the series; I felt sad whenever one of what I considered main characters, died protecting their people.
A sad ending a beautiful ending. The old generation of leaders / fighters is gone and a new generation in growing. The king has retired long live the king.
I stumbled upon this series a couple of years ago thinking I'd just find a fun time travel story. I had no idea how much I would come to love these characters and the world of Kragdon-ah. As utterly heart-wrenching it is to see this series come to its finale, I couldn't have asked for a better send-off to our beloved Winten-ah and other tribes of Kragdon-ah. I'm still sobbing as I type this while listening to Brothers in Arms by Dire Straits. Please, read this book.
