This book is full of useful information. I enjoyed it until this (audio book version):

CHAPTER 9
@ 3:30
"Hydration, including water and herbal teas, just NOT green tea."

@ 22:11
"Tea. All teas, but ESPECIALLY green tea, reduce the levels of liver enzymes in people with MASLD. People who drink green tea regularly, are less likely to develop liver cancer. For medicinal purposes, you should drink about 4-5 cups per day."

So, which is it? Don't drink green tea, or drink green tea.

This is why many people looking for answers are overwhelmed and confused.

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease runs in my family. My dad died from liver cancer.

So when I saw this book at the library I thought I should read it.

There’s some good tips in here but also some debunked tips (lemon water). Lemon water ruined the enamel on my teeth so I won’t be doing that again.

However, this book did make me realise that I should take my liver health much more seriously because it is linked to so many other important things.

Is fantastic to read such a comprehensive health resource dedicated to preserving your liver. Thoroughly loved her recommendations; and will implement her strategies and eating plan into my wellness regime.

This book was interesting. I wanted to get a better insight to how the liver functioned due to a family member having a transplant. It was an interesting read (I listened on audio)
