The liver's ability to heal and regenerate can greatly improve your wellbeing. Clinical nutritionist and bestselling author Sarah Di Lorenzo’s four-week plan has helped hundreds of her patients repair their inner health and now she’s sharing it with you.
One in three Australians have a fatty liver, one of the most prevalent liver conditions worldwide. Revitalising your liver health can increase energy, aid weight-loss, improve sleep, slow aging, reduce headaches, improve skin health, reduce brain fog and lower anxiety.
The Liver Repair Plan offers practical guidance, easy-to-follow meal plans, and more than 50 delicious, nutrient-dense recipes that will support your liver's health and vitality.
This book is full of useful information. I enjoyed it until this (audio book version):
CHAPTER 9 @ 3:30 "Hydration, including water and herbal teas, just NOT green tea."
@ 22:11 "Tea. All teas, but ESPECIALLY green tea, reduce the levels of liver enzymes in people with MASLD. People who drink green tea regularly, are less likely to develop liver cancer. For medicinal purposes, you should drink about 4-5 cups per day."
So, which is it? Don't drink green tea, or drink green tea.
This is why many people looking for answers are overwhelmed and confused.
Very informative book and written in a really understandable manner. I read from cover to cover but you could also continue to ‘dip’ into it in order to recap information. Also contains some very doable recipes and meal plans. I don’t have a liver problem but was interested in making sure I don’t get one! Excellent book.
Is fantastic to read such a comprehensive health resource dedicated to preserving your liver. Thoroughly loved her recommendations; and will implement her strategies and eating plan into my wellness regime.
A well-intentioned and accessible read, with a strong focus on simple, sustainable healthy habits. 2 stars because I found the claims about "liver repair" a bit broad, and the advice is very generalised, especially the repeated "just lose weight" messaging which is oversimplified for something that is much more complex in reality.
This book was interesting. I wanted to get a better insight to how the liver functioned due to a family member having a transplant. It was an interesting read (I listened on audio)
Highly recommend. Such a wonderful and informative read. The audiobook was amazing and read by the enthusiastic and highly knowledge author Sarah Di Lorenzo
