Renowned scholar George Anastaplo describes a side of Abraham Lincoln that previous biographers have the development and legacy of his legal and constitutional thought.
I picked up this book because of my interest in Lincoln and because the author has published oral history interview with Simcha Bruno -- someone I once knew. I found the book a bit deep for myself and I found my attention waning. I think this may be more my issue than that of the author. I found parts quite fascinating, especially the early chapters.
I will admit that I ended up only skimming the last few chapters.
