Rate this book
Daddy, Revealed

For a decade, Mackenzie Brand had kept her daughter's paternity a secret. Then she unexpectedly ran into Dylan Axel, and the single mom knew there was no more hiding. Hope's greatest wish was to meet her father. And when Dylan got a look at the beautiful ten-year-old he simply knew she was his. But he didn't know everything…

With Hope battling a terrible illness, Mackenzie needed all the support she could get. Dylan vowed to be there for them both and promised Mackenzie she could lean on him. But she was no longer the bookish girl enamoured of the dashing boy next door. Giving herself to Dylan this time meant going all-in. This was their second chance. Was she brave enough to take it?

I loved this book! Joanna's books just keep getting better and better. I've read all 3 which were all wonderful, and the next one is even better than the last. This particular book wasn't superficial at all like some books are. She addressed a woman's self-image, a playboy's change in lifestyle, and parents' having to deal with a child's illness all while the characters' personalities shine through (including characters from her 2nd book). I can't wait to read more of Joanna's books!

"The author expertly blends humor with bleakness, and further comforts the characters — and the reader — with the genuine kindness of the close-knit community. It’s inspiring how the couple comes together despite formidable hurdles" (RT Book Reviews, 4 1/2 stars).

What an absolutely wonderful story. Book was amazing from start to finish. This book made me laugh, cry and cheer when the ending finally came. I recommend this book......... I don't want to give anything away, but just as an FYI grab a box of tissue before starting book.
