New Orleans, 1932: photographer Walton Naves is having a bad day. His love affair has been found out, and the jilted husband has him at gunpoint. What this series accomplishes greatly is to put the magic of music into images, way more clearly and succint than Grant Morrison. Step by step builds the story in the way of Weird precursors from the UK in the 80s.

I didn't start the song til a couple pages in (qr code on the back cover)... I got goosebumps when I read AND heard the lyric "It's only me that I need to love from now onnnnnn!"

Weird but cool.
