The Carter Cartel always came out on top.
Lynx knew it when he sat at the head of the table, and he knew that passing the reigns of the business down to Nori and Malik wouldn't change anything. There would always be something, or someone, to watch out for. The Carter men had eyes and ears everywhere, so fear never moved through them.
