The Baker's Bully: The Baker's Bully, Book 1
Imagine this… You've planned everything perfectly for your sixth anniversary, hoping to make it a special day. But then your beloved stands you up, leaving you heartbroken and alone at home.
Later, your best friend calls with some shocking news—she saw your boyfriend with another woman in his car while she was stopped at a traffic light. You ask her to follow them, and she provides you with the location of his vehicle.
In a fit of anger, you grab your trusty bat and arrive at the scene to take out your anger on his car—only to realize later that it wasn't your boyfriend's vehicle after all. The owner happens to be a gorgeous gangsta, and he is pissed. In an attempt to make things right, you offer to pay for the damages. Unfortunately, the car is worth nearly a million dollars, and you don't have that kind of money.
Now, you and your best friend are forced to work off the debt at the gorgeous gangsta's gentlemen's club, 4 Play, and he takes full advantage of your predicament however he pleases.
As for your best friend, she also has someone hot on her trail, as the boss's handsome brother has set his sights on her. Will she be swept off her feet, or will she resist his advances? Either way, it seems things are about to get very interesting.

This story was a little too much for me.
1. I don't like cliffhangers
2. Three was too much of a Bully for me
3. I do not like books where there is too much drama.
The concept of the story was okay, however, for me a few issues would be fine. To overcome a cheating boyfriend and accidentally destroy a different person's car was enough. Adding in the drama of a baby, side chick's seeking revenge, the ex getting revenge, the new guys ex getting revenge, an out of control best friend and the to top it off a jealous and mean mother was too much drama.
Plus, all of the stupid insecurity of being plus sized. She is described as a size 14 which is curvy but not overly big. Of course her best friend was tall and skinny. Ughhhh.
The audio was good.

4 and Mahogany yes yes yes. Egypt momma was a nasty piece of work. Overall I really enjoyed this book

I loved this book. I actually sat on this book for a while and I'm kind of mad I didn't read it sooner. Now I’m counting down the days until I can dive into book two!

The Baker’s Bully was a solid listen. Fast-paced, dramatic, and the narrators nailed it. Can’t wait to hit play on the next one! 🎧🔥
