Terra Formars, Vol. 6

Rate this book
In the late 26th century, overpopulation on Earth is reaching the breaking point, and humanity must find new frontiers. The terraforming of Mars has taken centuries but is now complete. The colonization of Mars by humanity is an epoch-making event, but an unintended side effect of the terraforming process unleashes a horror no one could ever have imagined.

Keiji Onizuka and Team 1 are fighting as hard as they can, but the Terraformars use a clever stratagem to put them in a tight spot. Running low on their serum, the members of Team 1 may be finished unless Akari and Michelle can bail them out. But will engaging the new Terraformar cause Akari to lose himself completely? Meanwhile, Asimov’s team goes into the pyramids, where they find the first transmitter whose signal was lost. How did it get there, and what does it say about what the Terraformars may be planning?

** MINOR SPOILER ALERT **
Now it's time for Team 1 steal the spotlight. I really love their teamwork. Capt. Komachi, Keiji and Marcos has to face the two Terraformars with strange ability. I know there are so much crews that I couldn't remember the name because I'm afraid they'll die but in this volume, nobody's die. In the middle of their crisis, Michelle's team came to the rescue along with Akari when the others support from the back with Alex's power. It was a slow burn pace with so much fighting scenes and flashback. Oh, I almost forgot the Russian Team found the pyramid with another mystery inside of it. (What's wrong with pyramid since Cage of Eden #facepalm).

When Annex I is trying to survive in Mars, the U-Nasa decide their future on earth. I think they have hidden agenda behind the plan. We know Annex I has job to collect sample from Mars and Terraformars for finding cure but we didn't know what's behind it. I really hate people play politic when humanity in danger.

The main problem I'm having with this series is the MASSIVE cast of characters and the frequency in which they are killed off.
