An unexpected roadmap—or better yet, a book—makes looking for treasure so much easier.
Reading into it what the authors have never even thought about makes for a welcome bonus. These are all but lucky waystations on my journey to the doorsteps of this world's greatest mystery.
There's a everyone and his brother has already been there, and even the worst losers know the way.
So, is this the end of the road? The demise of the Great Plan?
Or have they all knocked on the door the wrong way?
Arthur Stone is the pen name of one Arthur Smirnov, a prolific author in the sci-fi and fantasy genres. Born in 1973 in Donetsk, Ukraine, Arthur worked as a geologist, and also in the environmental sector and industrial archeology all over the world. He lives and works in Ukraine. Arthur began writing fiction in 2005 on a bet, and thus his addiction was born. His first book was published in 2006, and by mid - 2025 he had published a total of 84 books in Russian, English and German-speaking markets.
This was probably one of the best edited of Arthur Stone's books. It was a smooth and enjoyable read. We are still at the Steel School, but things are getting interesting. Mysteries are starting to unravel and secrets are being dragged into the light. The MC is starting to get a handle on his stats while slowly getting stronger. I'm looking forward to book eight to see what happens next. As always any mistakes will be listed on Goodreads.
I am reluctant to post this review as i was a big fan of this author until this book arrived. I have read and I am reading all of his other stories, Respawn, Foodstuffs, Dark and S.T.Y.X all of which I would rate as very good to excellent but this book is such an anti climax. It is full of long winded waffle and unwanted childish dialogue with very little meaningful action as you expect with mr Stone. I speed read the last third of the book just to get to the end. On reflection my 3 stars may be generous! I am unsure whether i will persevere with this series based on this boring waffle. I hope his outstanding series do no deteriorate in such a drastic manner.
Gedar Xavier progresses and it’s as exciting as expected. Couldn’t sleep through a few of the scenes. I really wish there was a rundown or chart on how ORDER, chaos, life, death, and the elements interacted. The complexity of the characters and their stats is one of the things that draws me in. As ever, can’t wait for the next book and this one’s only been out a few days.
Excellent read! Bring on balance and states being explored, more mysteries being teasingly revealed, too short though, the fast forward at the end took away some of the fun of the latest discovery, as well as any associated trials and errors, really hope next few books are in the 600+ page range again like the first ones.
I enjoyed reading this book very much and I recommend this book to anyone who like LitRPG and progression type of books with lots of action.I am waiting for the next book in this series.
A very good read I have only read this in the series and have enjoyed it so much I am going to read from book 1.the righting and story line are so Good I now want to read them all
Once again I found it almost impossible to put the book down once I started reading it. The story continues to be both engaging and memorable. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.
