I was bored out of my skull and made it 20% in before I gave up and that was with me skimming through pages. It was all inner dialog and how much they wanted to do each other. And being almost a quarter through the book there was only one mention of the twins and no mention of Sai. A harem of 7 is too many. Marco and Atlas can be combined. Henry and Sai can be combined. I think it worked in the first two books because she was in school part time and we saw her interact with 3 mates there and then the other 3-4 at home. So each mate got time with Maya. Towards the end of the second book and what I made it through in this one, once she left school, the focus shifted to mainly Marco, a little Atlas and some Croy and Henry. Sai and the twins were barely or not even mentioned. I like harem stories that give equal time between the girl and each person in her harem. If they aren't even talked about, why have them in the story? I just re-read the first two to prepare for this one and those will be the only 2 books in the series I'll ever read.. Seriously, a waste of great characters, especially Maya.

Disappointing
Skimming. A LOT of skimming. I wouldn't say this book was bad but it wasn't the best it off the series which was disappointing because I wanted more to happen. The internal dialog dragged on and at one point Marco thinks about bending her over four or five times in two pages. By 60% into the book i considered just giving up because I was so bored. The end was promising but I'm not sure it's enough for me to get the next book.

Realm of Flames is the third installment in the Reborn series. I can say that I still don't really like Maya because she somehow still seems pretty naïve about a lot of things. Which will probably baffle me until I get my hands on the fourth book. Or maybe she will magically just not be annoying to me anymore. Who knows but I would greatly appreciate it if she would be more sure of herself and her surroundings.
Other than that, I do like how she is continually getting closer to the guys. Even though drama and evilness lurk in almost every freaking corner of this book. It doesn't seem like the guys catch any breaks. Out of all the drama, I wish the Pastor guy died before we saw him again but nope - he's still alive and thriving. Ugh. I also really liked getting to see her meet her family - especially seeing the potential mate to her brother(s).
Not sure what's going to happen in the next one or if I even want Anna to be saved.. because right now - I don't like the girl. I guess I will just have to wait until September to figure it all out.

Once again extremely disappointed in the editing - or, to be accurate, the lack thereof. “I LEARNED into my mate...” like are you kidding me? That’s not even the worst of it. The series could be great. As is, it’s just ok. The dialogue continues to be stilted and unnatural, which when combined with the typos and repetitive word choice, is incredibly frustrating. I’m really glad it’s part of my subscription and I’m not actually paying for it.

This series just keeps getting better and better. In this third book, we get to see Maya and her mates travel to the Dreki realm in order to try and gather information on Maya’s species and why she keeps getting sick. While she is there, Maya seems to recognise the realm and from that point on things get turned upside down where you say to yourself I never saw that coming! I think I loved this book the most so far as we get to see Maya learning to make decisions for herself and finding her backbone. We also get to see Maya get closer with her mates and complete a few of the bonds. This book also introduces of bunch of new characters and I’m so excited to learn more about them in the next books.

Never thought I'd see the day
I dont know if I'm just in a slump lately but I was not impressed with this book. I ADORE M. Sinclair. Period. There has not been a single book of hers that I have not devoured. Literally every single book that she is written. And Ive enjoyed every single book that she is written, but I don't know lately they just haven't been hitting the spot. I think I'm just a little frustrated with the author, She's working on too many projects at a time and it feels like the wait for each book gets longer and longer and what actually happens in the book is less and less. The in-between time of these books have been at least 6 months and all three book have only covered 2 weeks.
Now don't get me wrong, I adore the plot line and the characters, I Maya is one of my favorite type of characters (sweet, naive, abused yet stong) and I'll probably read the rest of the series but I'll probably just wait the two or three years it will take to complete the series because at this point I'm more frustrated with the pacing than actually enjoying the storyline. Which is a shame because she is a truly talented writer.

I have enjoyed the Reborn series for what I feel it is: a light, uncomplicated read. This is my least favourite of the three books to date.
I felt like there was way too much inner monologue in this book. Sure, I enjoy knowing what the character is thinking, and how these thoughts motivate their actions, but I felt like it was just sort of repetitive, and always about the guys.
I feel like the last two (?) chapters of the book are really on when things start to happen. Boom! Confirmed she is the missing princess, meets her family, oh no, there might be more phoenixes out there that need to be saved, must return. Family says okay. Ah, throw in Eleven, another potential spin off character.
I hope the next book hits me more, if this had been the first book, I wouldn't have continued the series.
I respect the author for being able to craft worlds, characters, stories, but I feel like there are too many of them, and they sort of start to sound the same, and I also feel like the more books that come out (she is definitely prolific, it is amazing how much she writes), but the books feel like they are suffering a bit. Less story, less content, less editing.
Not my favourite, it was just okay.

Let's begin with a little bit of honesty on my part.
The past 3 star ratings I have given this series so far were pity ratings.
Reason? M Sinclair is a great writer, and I really wanted to like this series. And there were parts that were awesome but, the bad outweighed the good.
I really tried to get past the "breaking/broke" knees, and the insane amount of grammar and word errors but, seriously? My 10 yr old nephew writes and edits much better than what was done in this book.
And please, do not get me started on the inner monologues that lasted at least 70% of the book.
I almost want to read the last two books just to see if it gets better but, I am really not willing to hold my breath...
I honestly, skimmed the majority of this book because, the monologues were so bloody long. VERY little communication between the mates unless they were fucking Maya... and even then we had to struggle through their inner thoughts.
I desperately just wanted the flight and Maya to communicate... and I was seriously disappointed.
So, I gave this book an HONEST one star....

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for a great continuation of the series.
ngl, most of us probably knew where this book was going after the last one, even if we didn’t see the full picture. and while some might call that predicable, i recently read a post that really spoke to me.
when a book is “predictable” it means the author has done a great job at leading the story, setting up the plot, and building the world. while of course we don’t want anything too predictable, this book had just enough foreshadowing to make the perfect set up for this book. and honestly, thank goodness the family was SUPPORTIVE. i’m so tired of books in general having evil family members 😩 i am so freaking excited to see more of her six protective brothers. and don’t even get me started on Eleven... anyways, i digress.
This, being the third book, marks a little over half way of the series, and it was an amazing example of what the middle book in a series should be. It had everything I would expect from book 3 of 5- at this point, we know more than we don’t, but there’s still much to learn.
I loved seeing maya becoming more confident, really enjoyed all the guys’ personalities coming out more, and the new family relationships were super enjoyable. I will be eagerly awaiting the next book.

Some very good things and some a bit less
If I had to evaluate this book only by its first half, I would have give it a 2 or 3 at best.
The first half was boring. Too much of inner monologue like: "how much I love him/her, I do anything for her/him, blablabla". Because of that the story is stagnating.
But after the first half, things become again interesting, secrets had been revealed, more mate bonds are bonded and...there will be a volume 4!!!
I really didn't expect a fourth volume and I'm a bit upset with this... and especially with the BIIIIIIIGGG cliffhanger at the end of this book! Why authors are so cruel with their readers?

Absolute perfection. This series is one of my favourites and I wasn’t disappointed I love how maya grows throughout the book - she stops being so scared and you can see the badass she will become. I’m super excited to see what happens next especially after that ending ❤️

Don’t do it.
I’m not giving it a one star because it wasn’t problematic but it was not good.
The editing was really, really bad, to the point I’m not even sure it was proof read at all let alone read by an editor. The first two books were rough but I really liked them anyway but this was just painful.
The first two were rough but this one was way worse, it didn’t have the emotional connections of the first one, the conversations were odd, there were entire chapters of internal dialog with nothing happening, no conversations, no actions, all internal dialog. The author likes cats but it’s turning into a weird obsession where cats have to be more then they are in all her books and this book focused on the kitten so much she was more of a main character then any of the male leads. Honestly the choices made were bizarre. It honestly feels like an entirely different author and it’s not a good thing.

Quality vs Quantity
M. Sinclair, I'm not sure what was going on in that brilliant head of yours when you started writing this particular book, because I seriously felt like the prologue of this book was a thoughtless process of rambling words for 13 long pages of unnecessary context. It gave me the feeling that you had to fill these pages base on a business need instead entertaining your reading audience... Tsk, tsk, tsk.. That's A straight no, no for me! More than anything it frustrated me to no end! With that being said this book didn't start getting interesting until the Heroine and her Mates got into the other realm! Just Wow 😯 😒SMH!
I really hope book 4 of this series is better then this one. I will even excuse you of another cliffhanger if just the next book is better and I don't feel like you rushed through it! Fingers crossed here hoping 🍀🙄

Mostly terrible
I swear that this book was mostly chapters of inner dialogue from each character talking about, not only themselves, but how amazing Maya was. I had to skim through half the book because I couldn't take reading any more about her. I get that they're mates, but 2 weeks doesn't tell you everything about someone to make it seem like they're perfection. It was just way too much. Maybe, if it had been only one character doing the inner dialogue, it would have been ok. So little progress was made in this book because it focused on Maya's perfection. It was really irritating.
In my opinion, Maya is really weak and dependent. I get that her past caused her trauma. But passing out at the end? Really? Just ridiculous. Will she ever grow into the perfect being her men think she is? Right now it's looking doubtful.

You know that feeling that you get when you are waiting for a book sequel? Slightly anxious that it isn't going to live up to your expectations? Well you don't need to worry about this book. It was well worth the wait.
The story continues where book 2 left off. We learn more about May's origins, as well as gain insight into her Mates. The character development is well written and the storyline is compelling. The cliffhanger at the end was cruel and beautifully done. Book 4 can't come soon enough.

In this third book of the series, we start to see some of the hints that were laid in the prior books come to fruition in dramatic, but ultimately positive ways. There's also a hint that happens early in this book that pops up more as part of the cliffhanger ending. While I had theories for these happening, how the story brings those theories to life makes them all the better.
The focus for Maya and her flight continues to be bonding. We see more of the deepening emotions on both sides and more mate marking occurs, with a lot of heat, whew! The group gets answers on Maya's health and discovers more of her background. Through all of it, Maya continues to find her footing and confidence in the overall world. She definitely stands up to others at times in this book, where she might not have before.
Some of her guys have insecurities, especially once more of her background is confirmed and the repercussions of that are clear. Their thought processes and all the ways that Maya supports them the same way that they support her are some of the parts I loved the most. DNF 30%- too bored with this book. Usually i try not to stop and at least skim but not with this one.
I've come to realize MS book's aren't for me anymore.
Why? Because, there has been a consistent pattern that after the 2nd book in the past series I've read of her's, the excitement of the book and quality of her books goes down- which i hate because the stories start off soooooo good.
I am a big believer in quality over quantity. And, when you are writing more than 3 series at a time this becomes an issue. She is one of those authors who's working on many books at a time, which is common for a self-published author. If she was traditionally published this wouldn't happen- but traditional publishing doesn't usually sell reverse harems.
Also, with her RH's I believe they all follow the same exact pattern- girl finds out she is special in the modern world, and then by book 3 she goes to the magical realm.
I realllllllly tried with her books. I've read the Red Masques, Descendants,,and Lost In Fae- all started out strong for me, but by book 3 I lost interest in the series.
To be fair, I'm mostly over the whole RH genre and last year i stopped reading RH's anymore and have been trying to just finish current series on my list. Nothing new or exciting happens anymore with RH's sadly as they are all the same kind of format.
I've come to realize MS book's aren't for me anymore.
Why? Because, there has been a consistent pattern that after the 2nd book in the past series I've read of her's, the excitement of the book and quality of her books goes down- which i hate because the stories start off soooooo good.
I am a big believer in quality over quantity. And, when you are writing more than 3 series at a time this becomes an issue. She is one of those authors who's working on many books at a time, which is common for a self-published author. If she was traditionally published this wouldn't happen- but traditional publishing doesn't usually sell reverse harems.
Also, with her RH's I believe they all follow the same exact pattern- girl finds out she is special in the modern world, and then by book 3 she goes to the magical realm.

In my opinion, maybe the best of the series so far!
This book ended in quite the cliffhanger! (I'm so glad that as I'm reading this, the series is complete, or I'd be yelling at my phone!)
In this book, Maya and her mates go to the Dreki realm to discover more about her heritage and to see if there's any reason why she seems to get spiking fevers. Needless to say, much is discovered (though nothing too surprising, as it's hinted throughout the other books), and it's a lot to take in for our FMC.
The only minor thing I took note of in this book: It was explained in the first and second book that dragons could shift back into clothing if they chose to. Of course, Sai didn't in the first book and decided to remain "au natural." After Maya witnessed Atlas shifting from dragon to human form in the second book, he appeared with clothing. She questioned it, to which he answered it was optional, but most could shift back while wearing their clothes. In this book, it seemed like she didn't know. Again, it's not a big deal. It just makes it appear the author forgot she already touched on the subject. Considering the book as a whole, this doesn't affect anything. It was just a small thing that I noticed. I didn't remove any stars for it.
I can't wait to jump into book #4!

I’m quite disappointed with this one :( I love m. Sinclair books, and I love heroines that are sweet, and not always the hot headed “badass” heroine typical in RH. Maya is for me a great heroine in the first 2 books, especially the first one. She has big baggage, and naive but sweet. In this book however, she became this girl that basically has no other personality except horny and flirty with her mates, and I mean ALWAYS. Literally every time 24/7, and even before they need to do something important or go somewhere (for the plot), her thoughts are always on s*x and like “can we just don’t go and stay home and f**k?” The plot barely progressed and I skimmed a lot of the chapters.
Now I do love smutty books, but come on, this is just way too much. Her POV are basically just her horny thoughts, and the guys POV are “she’s so perfect, blablabla”
Her ‘panic attacks’ are also kind of unrealistic for me. She would hear news about her, and would be fine and happy, and then suddenly out of nowhere, not even in her thoughts, got like these panic attacks, and then after her mates calm her down, she would be fine and it never got mentioned again.
Overall I had high hopes for this series and this is just disappointing to me. I still read other books from the author though.

I really enjoy this series! Probably my favorite M Sinclair one so far. Maya is so innocent about so many things and I love how she’s girly and cute and it’s not frowned upon.
Her guys are all obsessed with her and I always love that. We have some declarations of love that were swoony and a VERY steamy scene with Croy that I wasn’t expecting but loved!
That said, I do wish there was just a little more action though. I skimmed some pages that seemed like just too much internal monologue, usually the guys toward how much they love Maya and how’s she’s changing them. I love it, I really do, but it doesn’t have to be as long as it was. Also, it seems like Sai (especially Sai!) and the twins never get enough page time. Marco, Henry and Atlas seem to be favorites, and while I love them too, I would really like to get to know the other guys more in the next book.
Her brothers were interesting and I hope we get to see more of them and Eleven. Their dynamic seems different than what I’ve seen from this author, so that’s always intriguing!
After the cliffhanger, I’ll be anxiously awaiting book 4 and hoping they’ll be free of danger!

I really enjoyed this book! I’ve read other posts saying the inner dialogues and interactions with other characters are less balanced but I feel with bigger harems they’re going to need different times spent together for different reasons and that doesn’t digress from their relationship as a harem. We know there’s going to be further books where the men in the harem may get more interaction than others and if anything I find it harder to keep up when they’re all around all the time 🤣! And the inner dialogue I felt was great at explaining the deep desire and animal instincts that the guys had for Maya but that they respected, loved and were considerate of her past and her newness to life and love since she’s really only been free for weeks! The foreshadowing from M Sinclair was so well done in earlier books that this book was perfect for knowing where a story may go but not knowing the amount of depth, love and emotion that went into creating this specifically around Maya, her harem and her family&Dreiki. Also there was totally steam in this book 🔥 What a cliffhanger! Cannot wait for the next instalment and to get to know the new characters introduced in this book!

Fangirl down, I repeat, fangirl down!
I am absolutely in love and utterly obsessed with this series. There is just something so uniquely special about Maya. She radiates kindness and compassion despite everything she has been through. Like her mates, I feel oddly protective of her as well. I know she’s fictional, but I can’t help it. The bond Maya and her mates share is truly beautiful. The lengths they would go to protect her, shield her from pain and sadness, and make her truly feel loved and safe is awe-inspiring.
This story was a whirlwind for Maya. Finding out about her true heritage. Confronting a past both good and bad. Her fierce protectiveness and love she feels in return toward her mates is stunning. It’s amazing to watch her grow in confidence and independence. Despite having her mates and being a little “naive” to the world around her, she is very much capable of standing up for herself and those she loves.
This story brought strengthened bonds, new familial ties, questions finally being answered, and the potential for danger as they prepare to confront Maya’s difficult past and protect others that could be affected.
Maya and her mates a have a bit of a ways to go before they can truly settle down and have their contented happiness in their costal home. But both Maya and her mates would do anything for that desired peace.
MUST READ BOOK/SERIES! I truly cannot out into words just how much M. Sinclair’s words truly provide me with utter happiness. Her words are incomparable. She is absolutely master of her craft 🖤

Um hello, if you have not started this series then you are missing out. Oh lawd, this series is freaking amazing and hot. I love Maya and her journey of self discovery after everything she has been through. The guys are just as amazing and very protective of her. However, there are things that are happening to her that they don't know what to do. So then off they go to travel to the Dreki realm. Oh boy do we find out some interesting information. I would react the same way if I was Maya. When something that has been lost for a long time and is now found people are bound to be excited. We meet new people and old enemies resurface again. Once I started reading this book, I could not put it down. It was so good. Then I got to the end and even though I should not be surprised M. Sinclair left me hanging. I pray the wait will not be long. I may go insane by then. Another great series to read.

I've never had a cute love hate relationship with a character until I discovered Maya and her mates. Its like I hate how nieve she is but I put her in my pocket of how cute she is. and seeing her come into herself more and more is amazeballs. She's still that shy girl, but as much as her mates have changed because of her, she's changed slightly because of them. Yet discovering her past also shows you how at the core of her she's always been this sweet protective thing.*sigh*
knowing she'll be alright by Halloween is the only thing that keeps me sane because that ending.
This magical creature of an author has done it again. I can't get enough. Thank you for creating these worlds that make us forget and want to dove in head first.

Again, there were too many stretches where nothing happens. This one was a little better with the other realm, though.
Something I realized from the other books.
Their professions are mostly just an afterthought. The twins are big music stars, but not anymore? Henry completed medical school, but instead plays the stock market? This just seems to be a way to explain paparazzi and all their money, buy ither than that, absolutely nothing about it. Another pointless track of info to join about 2 books worth, out of 3.
Was anybody shocked at the reveal the she was the queen's daughter? Was it supposed to be a shock? I figured that out in book 1. I saw that coming a mile away.
I do like the story, I'm just utked with all the extra stuff going on that isnt needed. The bit with Jordan finding her mate, the but with Eleven and her brothers. Just unnecessary.
I will continue to the next book. At least this time there is a cliffhanger, unlike the last one.
