He's sworn to protect his heart. She's ready to serve up some holiday cheer.
When it comes to happiness, grumpy Sheriff Cal Cassidy is an officer in need of assistance. But he's not ready for it to come in the form of his son's pretty new preschool teacher. Sure, she's kind, and she's patient, and she smells like cinnamon cookies, but her head is too far in the clouds to ever see eye to eye with a down-to-earth man like him.
It will take a holiday miracle for Angel Cabrera to get through to her favorite student's father. In spite of his challenges, little Justin Cassidy is an absolute ray of sunshine in her classroom. On the other hand, Justin's dad is basically a storm cloud in a sheriff's hat. As wildly intimidating as he is arrestingly handsome, Sheriff Cassidy has Angel's heart exceeding the speed limit every time they meet.
When Angel finds herself alone for the holidays, she decides to offer her services as Justin's tutor. Suddenly, Angel and Cal are spending a whole lot of time together and battling an attraction they are both desperately trying to deny.
Will these opposites waive their right to remain silent about their feelings for each other? Or will the sheriff and the small-town teacher part ways before they can see what they have in common and how much they agree on what is truly important?
Sheriff's Treasured Teacher is book three in Trinity Falls Sweet Romance, a series all about finding family one clean and wholesome romance at a time. You'll lose yourself in these feel-good books celebrating love, family, and the very special small-town community of Trinity Falls.
This 3rd book in the Trinity Falls series is just as great as the first two. Here the grumpy sheriff falls for the kind and caring teacher. I loved how the characters developed and the sweet romance that developed. I liked how Cal and his son were creative in their "Twelve Days of Christmas" gifts for Angel. I've grown to love this series with each book and Clara Pines is a new favorite author. Can't wait for the next book!
If you're looking for a nice make you feel good romance this is it! This is the third book in the series and boy I think it may just be my favorite. Little Justin is going to just steal your heart. He is such a sweetheart with a huge heart of compassion. Justin's dad is a little bit of a grump, but when he is near Angel he thaws. When Angel takes on tutoring Justin during winter break it sets her on a path she never saw coming. My absolute favorite part was Justin and Cal creating the 12 days of Christmas for Angel. To me that was one of the most romantic moments ever. This book had me a single dad, but it also takes place during the holidays. Anyone knows I'm a Christmas nut so this book was right in my wheelhouse. Then this book just poured on all the feels. I can honestly say this book did make me feel good and left me with a huge smile of happiness on my face. It's exactly the book I needed to read right now. I would highly recommend this one!!
If you are looking for a sweet romance that will melt your heart and make your day brighter, I highly recommend this one. Honestly, this whole series can deliver on that promise, so if you haven't dived in yet, I don't know why not. I will admit though that I did think this one was a bit special. I loved the grumpy/sunshine relationship between Cal and Angel and little Justin was absolutely adorable. This is my volitional, candid review.
I read the "Sheriff Treasure Teacher" by Clara Pines through the Kindle Unlimited program. This book just melted my heart. I fell in love with Justin and his grumpy Daddy who both so deserves the beautiful, kind and smart Angela who came into their life. As much as I love reading, I have struggled all my life with it. This story was a clean, sweet Christmas story that just makes you smile no matter when you read it. Bravo! Keep up the good work Ms. Pines.
I really enjoyed reading this book. This is one of those books that when you pick it up and start reading it you just can't put it down.
Loved the characters in the story. The grumpy Sheriff whose wife left him and now he is taking care of his son, while doing his official duties. His son is having issues reading and his Teacher.
Angel wants to help Justin anyway that she can.
Check out the story I think you will enjoy it as much as I did.
Wow! Great family story of teacher and young student and his father, the Sheriff. Money isn't everything but love and family are priceless. Enjoyed the story.
Cal is the grumpy single dad who is also the county sheriff. His son has a pre-school teacher who needs extra money so she puts up flyers to do tutoring. Cal hires her to help his son who appears to suffer from a mild form of dyslexia. Soon Angel falls in love with the son and the father.
This is a feel good, small town romance with endearing characters and a sweet love story. It is well written and hard to put down, just like the two previous books in this series. Cal and Angel's story was well worth waiting for! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I love Clara Pines books. This one was one of my favorites. I have always had problems with reading especially comprehension. I is good to see a book that is written to stimulated a child's understanding of a book.
This was a very sweet story that makes you smile throughout its entirety! Cal and his son steal your heart and Angel is perfect for them. This is a feel good read with no drama and a happy ever after. This is a clean read and it is heavy on Christmas and family togetherness. Great read!!
Angel and Cal. Angel is a preschool teacher who decides she is going to tutor to help her income. She takes in Justin, Cals son. Cal is the grumpy sheriff. This book follows all of the other books I have read by the author and so the whole anticipation of anything new is gone. This book was almost painful to read but I got thru it. The use of the characters, even the father calling his son"the boy" drives me crazy. Proposals without kisses before, drives me crazy. The grumpy sheriff was downright rude. Not my favorite.
I’m very partial to books about teachers or first responders and then throw in a cute child and you might have the perfect scenario. Clara Pines has all three in this book plus a reading disability which I’m very familiar with and I was hooked. Justin is the perfect connection between Cal and Angel. I admit my heart broke for Angel when she was unable to go on the family Christmas cruise but it just might be that God was pulling a few strings. I really enjoyed this book.
Everyone said he was grumpy, but she saw a tenderness when he interacted with his son. Such a good book, I enjoyed the interaction between Angel and Justin. Good clean romance.
5 Star review Sheriff's Treasured Teacher (Trinity Falls Sweet Romance #3) by Clara Pines The third book in the Trinity Falls Sweet Romance series and Sheriff’s Treasured Teacher was a wonderful addition to this heartwarming series. I really enjoy my visits to Trinity Falls, these stories are a breath of fresh air and was an entertaining, sweetly romantic read. From the first chapter I was drawn into sheriff and single dad Cal Cassidy, his wonderful son Justin and Angel Cabrera’s story. It was a well written story that tugged at my heart on a number of occasions. My heart went out to Cal and his son. Their relationship was beautiful to witness, Shane, all he wants is to be the best dad he can to his son support him in all areas. Knowing that Justin is struggling with reading (something he can easily relate to) he asks Angel to tutor him, not knowing that that decision will change all their lives forever. As Angel becomes more involved with both father and son, feelings blossom. As they grow closer could they both be ready to take a chance on love together and in doing so create a family? One click and find out
Sheriff Cal Cassidy is a single father to his little boy, Justin. Cal would do anything for Justin, especially since Justin’s mother left them both. Justin is having a little trouble with his reading, just like Cal did when he was young. So when Angel puts flyers out to tutor students, they asked to help him. Angel said yes because she loves to teach and it will be extra income that she needs for paying off her student loans. To Angel there’s something about that sweet little boy and even the grumpy sheriff. The more time she spends with them the more she wishes for a family of her own. She knows that Cal is older but he does something to her thumping heart. Maybe it’s because she misses her family since they went on a cruise for the Christmas holidays. It’s nice to spend time with Cal and Justin. Will she get her heart broke? What will happen when she gets the job she’s wanted? It’s in another town. Will Cal feel the same about her or will he let her go? Sometimes you have to let the ones you love go. Can Angel walk away from Justin, whom she’s come to love like his dad? This story is about second chances. The characters are wonderful especially little Justin.
I absolutely adore this series and the Sheriff’s Treasured Teacher is no exception. The author has once again given us a magical romance between the town’s grumpy Sheriff, Cal, and the town's new kindergarten teacher, Angel. Angel is the Sheriff’s son’s (Justin) teacher. When a snow storm hits the small town, Angel is stranded over the winter holidays, instead of on the long awaited cruise with her parents and brother. But she ends up making the best of it by making flyers to help tutor children and hopefully earning some much needed additional income. As it turns out she ends up getting a job helping the Sheriff’s son with his reading. However what she didn’t expect was the sparks they flew between her and the Sheriff. But he was older so maybe she was just day-dreaming. Or was she?
I can’t express enough how delightful this book/series is. This reader wishes it would go on and on. The storyline is a breath of fresh air set in a magical (yes that word bears repeating) small town setting.
I’m loving my visits to Trinity Falls and i have to say single dad Cal Cassidy and Kindy teacher Angel Cabrera’s story is my favourite read in this wonderful series. This is book 3 in the series and I can’t get enough of the residents of this small town. Cal is a single dad to Justin and sheriff of Trinity Falls, all be wants id to give his son the best start in life and when he realises he needs some help with his reading he hires Angel to tutor him. What follows is a beautifully written, heartwarming journey that will appeal to all lovers of small town romances. As Angel spends time with the Cal and Justin feelings come rushing to the surface but will Cal take a risk abd Cross the line……one click to find out. This read touched me on so many levels, I adored Cal and Angel but it was the relationship she built with the adorable little boy named Justin that stole a piece of my heart. This is the perfect addition to this wonderful series.
We are back in Trinity Falls, in this sweet, touching and clean romance. Sheriff Cal Cassidy is known as a grumpy, serious man but everyone also knows that he’s a dedicated dad to his young son Justin. Angel Cabrera is new in town and one of her students is sweet Justin. While she loves her work, she needs to supplement her income tutoring, especially during the holidays. Her first student is Justin. As she helps the young boy with his reading skills, a friendship develops between Cal and Angel as do feelings. But what happens when a job away from Trinity Falls becomes available for Angel? One that would solve her financial situation. Will she leave Trinity Falls and the boy and man she’s come to love? This was a touching story about two individuals whose goals seemed to take them in different directions . Maybe love will bring them a new outlook to their future. I was entrusted a copy of this book by 1852 Media. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
oohhh the grumpy sheriff opens up his heart and finds love!!! If you're looking for a steamy/spicy book, this story sadly isn't for you. But... If you are looking for a super sweet slooooow burning romance story with a sweet teacher, an adorable little boy and his broody sheriff dad then this story is for you.
This is the third book in the series and ooohhh shall I say it is probably my favourite. I adored each of the main characters in this story. Cal may be a grumpy sheriff but damn they way he is with his family and son... swoon!! Adorable little Justin is absolutely heart stealing. This boy is so caring and thoughtful. Plus they way he just adored his teacher Angel.. Oh my gosh my heart couldn't cope. Angel is such a beautiful heroine who you can't help bit adore. She is sweet, understanding, patient and caring. The story is one that simply pulls on your heart strings. A sweet story that I highly recommend. I hope there is more to come for this series!
I really wish I could move to Trinity Falls! Clara Pines has created a beautiful world full of heart and love. With each installment, I want more and more of these characters. In this story we find Sheriff Cal's struggle with raising his son and also protecting his heart. It looks someone has sent him an "Angel" in the form of a teacher just yearning to help the children in her class. Cal and Angel are definitely opposites but in some cases just like this, that is exactly what is needed to compliment strengths and needs. If you are ready to ride this emotional sleigh, hop on board and giddy up! Looking forward to so much more from Clara Pines and the folks of Trinity Falls. Review by C. Seymour - blogger
I really enjoyed reading this book and can see me reading it again. Angel and Cal make such a great couple. She’s incredible with his son Justin and helps him learn to read and to enjoy it. Cal such a good father and sweet to her. They would make such a good family. This series is all about romance and no sexual action. The most so far is a kiss at the end of the book. But I still enjoy reading them. The stories are sweet and showcases how small towns work and how people help each other out. This is a feel good book and even though I’m not usually a fan of books with kids in it, this one is great. Justin is sweet and so well behaved. This is a good book with no angst or drama.
“Sheriff's Treasured Teacher” from the Trinity Falls Sweet Romance series, is the 3rd amazing new book by the talented author Clara Pines :) Another fresh new storyline, wonderful characters and amazing dialogue, that pulled me right in from the start, and I read the whole thing in one afternoon! ... I am so thrilled to have found this new author of some of the best, clean romantic fiction I’ve ever read, and now I can’t wait for more, but I will of course :) Even tho I volunteered to read this book (before released on Kindle) it was without any outside influences & I do buy Kindle books whenever I can. I can honestly recommend this & her other books to all who love fiction :)
This is the third book in this incredible series, and this is Cal and Angel’s story. Cal is a single dad and grumpy sheriff, while Angel is a ray of sunshine and new in town as his son’s preschool teacher. Angel offers to tutor Justin over the holidays, which brings her in close proximity to Cal, and a friendships develops, and feelings change along the way. This is a well written story which is a sweet small town romance, with opposites attract, friendships, emotions, and love, which leads to an entertaining and poignant page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Loving this series. Clara Pines makes the characters come to life. Once you start reading, you won’t want to put it down. The sheriff is a single parent with a son who has a reading problem. He hires a teacher to tutor him. Angel helps Justin learn some techniques to assist him resulting in a love for books. His dad, Cal falls in love with Angel, but they both are afraid to admit it. You’re going to need to purchase the book to find out what happens. Thank you for writing such a wonderful book and keeping it clean. I will definitely be purchasing more books by Clara Pines. Keep up the great writing 😊
There are not many truly romantic Hallmark, Mills and Boon writers around anymore, those that give you sweet, swoon-worthy, slow-build romances, those that can still give you all the sizzle but with a more warm fuzzy feeling about, Clara Pines has to be the No1 author for this genre, Trinity Falls Sweet Romance is a joy to read, and I adored teacher Angel, and single dad Sheriff Cal's story, adorable Justin just makes this tale one that should sit right in the middle of a Christmas snow globe, and each time you looked at it, you are reminded, that magically romances do still exist.
Due to a snow storm, Angel Cabrera finds herself stuck in Trinity Falls instead of going on along anticipated cruise with her family. When she advertises as reading tutor, she finds herself tutoring the son of the town sheriff. Meanwhile, she is offered a job as a full time teacher in Philadelphia, which finds her torn between two places. Will the sheriff and the teacher realize their true feelings for one another, or will their fear of revealing their true feelings tear them apart?
Sheriff Cal and his son Justin are a team. Justin has the same reading issues that Cal had. Angel is new person who has moved to Trinity Falls. Her job is to the children get comfortable reading. Angel puts up flyers that she can help young people. Cal asks her to tutor his son Justin. Angel has a great relationship with Justin from working with him at school. Neither Cal not Angel were looking for a relationship. Over the short they worked together, they realized they were meant for each other.
