Forbidden Lust is the second book in the Lust for Life series by Jayne Kingston. This book is part of a series by can be read and enjoyed as a standalone novel with ease.
Eva is head over heels in love with Oscar. He is one of her brother’s best friends. She has pursued him for years. She made tried to tempt him just before she turned eighteen only to be turned down. Not she is trying to tempt him again.
Oscar is thirteen years older than Eva is. Oscar has loved her for years. However, when he turned her down years ago he had her best interests in mind. It gave her a chance to grown up. In addition, he is worried about Eva’s brother reaction.
The connection between Oscar and Eva is intense. They make a great couple. While the age difference can be an issue they have known each other for so long it won’t be an issue for them. The sex scenes were scorching hot.
I found this book very well written. The overall plot has been done prior but I enjoyed this fresh take on it. Within the pages of this book, the story seemed to come alive. I read this book in one sitting. The main characters and the secondary characters were appealing and fascinating. The ending was a bit predictable but I enjoyed the story. Overall, this was a fabulous story. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
