They say… If you love someone to set them free and if it’s meant to be they will come back to you.
What they don’t tell you is… It’s like a knife to the heart to watch them walk away.
After two years of blissful life, Ben Miler’s court case hangs over the head of Bailey Mortenson. Taking her anger and frustration out on all the wrong people can have devastating results.
With a heavy heart Knox Porter has to let his love go. Set her free and hope that she will come back to him. But sometimes hope is not enough.
Sometimes fate intervenes and deals another crushing blow to your heart. Tearing down the walls and starting the foundation over again.
When Knox finally reveals the truth about himself to his family, he is reminded just how much they have been through together and how much he needs them, especially Bailey. His future is hanging in the balance but will the women he loves stand by his side and come back to him? Or is it time for Knox to put fate into his own hands and take what he wants, once and for all.
Happy ending.... Finally. There were more drama and struggles but I really enjoyed this series. There were a ton of errors throughout all 3 books. I am really surprised at that. It was like reading a rough draft of my high school students papers, but the story and characters were so engaging, I kept reading. The editor should be fired.
If you have Scarred hearts and Taking chances you have felt all the emotions for Bailey and Knox. These two are so in love with each other but their pasts keeping getting in the way of their future. As I was reading this book I had so many almost break downs. I wanted to cry for them and their families. Bailey has to see the court case through. She is very moody and her mood affects Knox's thinking. Then once the court is over you think they can get on with their lives and have their happy ever after. Not the case. They discover the reason for Knox's headaches. I couldn't keep from praying for them. By the end I just needed to finish this book to know what happens. Very well written and very emotional. Elizabeth Kelly has done it again. A must read....
