Человек недостойный – самая известная повесть Осаму Дадзая. Произведение во многом автобиографическое – многие критики считают, что в образе Ёдзо Оба изображен сам автор: страдающий человек, который разрушает свою жизнь, не найдя в ней места. И, словно бы подведя этим черту под собственным существованием и вложив в повесть всего себя, вскоре после выхода "Человека недостойного" Дадзай бросился в один из токийских водосборников.

Это произведение известно во всем мире. Оно легло в основу фильма, манги, нескольких аниме.

Повесть публикуется в новом переводе.

so, i really *understood* what he wrote, but i think i timed the reading badly - i was not in a very good emotional state and didn`t let myself dive into the world. it didn`t bring much new to me regarding japanese literature, but i`m glad to finally have read it. i think it is good and short enough that everyone interested could read it in one evening.

წიგნი კარგად აღწერს შინაგან სიცარიელესა და უსუსურებას, რომლის დაძლევის ერთადერთ სტრატეგიას საკუთარი თავის გარეთ, სხვა ადამიანებისგან პოზიტიური უკუკავშირის მიღებაზე ორიენტაცია წარმოადგენს. კარგი მაგალითია იმის თუ შინაგანი ღერძის გარეშე რა შეიძლება დაემართოს ადამიანის ცხოვრებას. იაპონელი მწერლებისთვის დამახასიათებელი თხრობის მანერა და კარგი თარგმანი ძალიან საინტერესოს ხდის ამბის თხრობას.

It was an interesting read which I had my eyes on for a long-long time.
A story about a person who's not fitting in the society, and who's most probably neuro-divergent. The funny thing is that most probably it's written with condemnation for the main character, while I feel a lot of compassion towards him. Which would mean it's genius? :D
