Oh my. Where to start? In my defense I must say I have a terrible flu and couldn´t sleep, and logged into my Kindle app to find something not very demanding to read. Something I could read with the lights out in bed. This was a free download and the cover was pretty descriptive, erotic romance.
But to be honest, I can´t list everything that I disliked about this book.
*There are too many things happening at once: the main character has been kidnapped, killed her sister´s kidnapper, experienced sexual harassment and survived one rape attempt. Add sexy millionaires posing as male escorts for fun, a fake engagemente with a gay man, and an affair with his son, and it seems a bit too much cramped up into some 170 pages. (-1 star)
*There are too many plot twists that really don´t work, it´s like 3 weak storylines merged into one, but it fails to be consistent or engaging (-1 star)
*The sexy/erotic scenes are not really that good. I have read hotter scenes in Sherlock Holmes and X Men fanfictions. (-1 star)
*The plot is overall unbelievable and weird (-1 star)
*I should add that there were 2 odd and stereotyped mentions of Latinos that made me cringe and feel uncomfortable.
*On the bright side it is correctly written, is very readable and there are no mispellings or grammar fails and that made the reading quite straightforward (+ 1 star)
Then, it finished with a cliffhanger, and discovered this is a 4-part story and probably would have to pay for the following installments. Guess what?--- i won´t.

This book is incredibly hard to follow. Details are glossed over & I'm not sure if we get more of an in-depth story in the second book? Lindsay gets the nickname Iron Slap or something like that. Someone kidnapped Lindsay & her sister & Lindsay killed the kidnapper with a slap across the face? Then out of the blue Lindsay gets an interview with Michael, the head of some major TV networks & it appears he wants to hire Lindsay as his cover - he is a homosexual & for an enormous salary to play Michael's girlfriend it is hard to pass up. The hard part is that Lindsay can't be seen in public with other men, no touching, no one-night stands with any other men. And since she obviously won't be sleeping with Michael it is a hard decision. Michael promotes a service called Pleasure Extraordinaire where Lindsay will be able to fulfill her sexual needs with complete confidentiality. We meet Mr. Ice, the manager of the male escort service, and there seems to be an attraction of sorts with Lindsay. And then Lindsay is paired with JJ, a hot young male escort who gets Lindsay all excited, but then she gets jealous when she sees JJ with his next client. She is warned that she should not choose the same escort every time because this is bound to happen. The next escort she meets comes as a big surprise - it is Zane, Michael's son who Lindsay is incredibly attracted to since he is close to her age & very hot! Why is he working as an escort? Lindsay definitely doesn't want to get caught messing around & breaking the contract with Michael! Strange story, jumps around way too much, has enough hot parts to keep me interested I guess.

A Scorching Page-Turner!!!
WOW!!! What a SCORCHER!!!! This book was HOT!! The story and characters were amazing too. This book sucked me right in from the beginning and I was hooked! I stayed up late to finish it, because I could not put it down!!! The plot took some twists and turns that I didn’t expect, and I couldn’t wait to find out what happened next. And I LOVED the delicious men that Lindsay interacts with… Zane and Mr. Ice! YUM!!! I am DYING to read book 2 now… I can’t wait! Great book Ms. Bennett… I will definitely be looking forward to reading more from you!!!

I definately want to read the next book in the series, loved the characters and the plot... even giggled at the "Coconut Oil" scene with "Big Boy", who knew you could be allergic to Coconut Oil. A Fun Quick read for sure, if you dont mind graphic sex.... all in all it kept me interested in finding out what happens next

What was the plot? I found myself asking that more than once while reading.
This is not a standalone book—the ending is abrupt, clearly meant to lead into the next installment. For such a short book, I expected less filler and more actual content. Instead, it felt like a lot of buildup without much payoff.

Both ridiculous and silly, if that's not too redundant. The complicated backstory made me wonder if this character has appeared in previous books, and almost made me want to read those hypothetical books instead of this one.
Except for the backstory, this was basically PWP. And it wasn't the sort of erotica that impresses me much -- the encounters were too hurried and emotionless. OTOH, the writer does at least have a pretty good idea of how to put sentences together, and the editing was surprisingly not awful. And it's a quick read, so there's that.

Wow!! Not the way I expected it to go! I've been left hanging at the end and cant wait to read the next! This book is amazing took a unexpected and shocking turn and I loved it!!! I would definitely recommend people to read this book! More so if you've read the first 3 of pursuit books!!
I cant wait to find out where this all leads as my expectations have been blown out and I don't know what's coming!

Not so sure what I think about this book. There are lots of twists almost too many. The sex was hot but had too many complications. I will read the next book just because I want to know what happened but this is not one of my favorites.

Pleasure Extraordinaire Book One by Liv Bennett is not your typical billionaire romance novel. First you have young girl who is in desperate need of a job, after a terrible situation that involved sexual harassment, a kidnapping and a murder, she just wants to find a job that will hire her and pay her bills. The story, did feel as though we were coming into it late. For instance, all the information about what happened prior to this story is not filled in in such a way that this feels like a stand alone story. Instead it feels like we missed book one of this story.
However this short story is different then anything I've read lately about a billionaire and a young girl. This story we have a billionaire Michael who is old enough to be Lindsey's father, but doesn't look his age. Lindsey is about a year or two out of college and working to pay her bills, but due to past problems in back in California attempting to make it. Michael and Lindsey had meet a year ago, and he calls her in for a job interview. Lindsey is ecstatic but tries to not get her hopes up ate 20 some job interviews. While in the interview she realizes that the job he things she's applying for is not in fact the job Michael wants to hire her for.
Michael is in fact guy but is in the closet, so hires beautiful women to be his arm candy to essentially be his beard in order to save his company. Michael has been married, and lost his wife to cancer, he has three grown children Lindsey's age. She agrees to take on the job, because the pay is amazing as well as the opportunity, but there is one stipulation. She can't be seen with any other man for at least one year. This is a problem because Lindsey needs physical touch, she was deprived it and now she doesn't think she can go a whole year without it. Michael agrees and suggests she visits Pleasure Extraordinaire. Its a club Michael owns and feels comfortable with her going to get her needs fulfilled. She tries the club out, and is kind of surprised by the whole thing. It is a sex club where women come to get their needs fulfilled for a price. The men here are usually very wealthy men who also have needs. Michael agrees to pay her membership so Lindsey attempts to see if the club will fulfill her needs. While trying the club and dealing with Michael she is introduced to Michael's son, who knows of his fathers contracts with women, and wants Lindsey.
This is definitely for mature audiences only! This is a fast paced story with great character development and so much going on you have a hard time following. It is a steamy hot sexy story that is sure to please.

I like the subject matter and it starts out that way, but the title is misleading. What Pleasure Extraordinaire is is an exclusive club for discreet women to enjoy their fantasies. It was fascinating to watch Lindsay embrace the concept. One on the stipulations of Michael Hawkins contract is no sex with anyone for a year while she is Michael's girlfriend but she could indulge only at the club.
Tossing in Michael's son, Zane into the mix stirs things up. Michael has 3 children, but only mention the other two in passing. The daughter, Chloe seems to be a spoiled brat but only got a glimpse of her. It would have added some drama and spice as Chloe and Lindsay interacted.

I downloaded this as a free book, and honestly, I am glad I didn't pay money for it. I don't say that about many books at all, but for this one, it's true. I love books, just about all kinds of books, but this one, I just could not get into. I read the description and thought, "Okay, it will be an okay book." but all we really found out was that the Mr. Hawkins is gay and wants Lindsay to be his fake girlfriend and isn't allowed to have any sex partners for a year, other than a place called Pleasure Extraordinaire. It left too much to be desired. Lindsay was supposed to be 22 or 23 years old, but I just could not see that. With the way it was perceived for her to think and talk, she was much younger. Needless to say, I won't be purchasing book 2. If I could give this 0 or 1/2 star, I would.

What On Earth Did I Just Read?
I don't really know how to process the plot of this poorly written erotica novel. As I've said in previous reviews I will read anything and download any of them on my kindle if it is free so I have something to pass the time and possibly make fun of.
This is definitely one to make fun of. The plot follows a woman know for killing her kidnapper entering into a contract to be the pretend girlfriend of a famous man who is secretly gay.
As part of the contracf, she gets paid a ridiculous amount of money and has her time at a whore house paid for.
There is some plot with the gay mans son, some lying, a dumb obsession with the number 7. As well as poor writting wigh overused wording.
This was not a good one, but I was able to laugh at it, so I supoose that's a plus.

Wicked, hot and hanging for book 2. Liv Bennett delivers an engrossing story that unfolds with an unassuming but strong woman who is not afraid to say what she means and ask for what she wants, even if it's somewhat reluctantly. Add gorgeous alpha males served on a silver platter, yum. Just Delicious.

Another great hit from Liv Bennett. This delicious story hold your attention thru and thru. Each twist makes you yearn for more. The combination of the strong female lead and yummy males makes you wish you were in the story to experience it yourself. The cliffhanger at the end is just as hot as the story itself. I can't wait for #2! In complete love with this series!

This book was average. It was close to many other romance and erotica novels. You get your unattainably hot men. The girl that is Gorgeous, but doesn't think she is.
I have two rants to do one of which I have already done for other books, but allow me to repeat it again. "...and Michael looks far from gay."
CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT GAY LOOKS LIKE? I know that there are stereotypes, but if she wanted to say this character did not fit a stereotype, then say that. "Michael didn't set off my gay-dar because he does not fit the stereotype." BAM! same point and in a way that allows people to be whoever they want without feeling like they need to change in order to fit somewhere.
The next one is a serious need for some proper research. The author has a character ask the Main Girl if she has ever had a cold sore. Then proceeds to be okay with getting a blowie even though she had cold sore when she was younger and "appeared clear".
Both HSV type 1 and type 2 can cause sores on your genitals. They can be spread by oral sex. Genital herpes is usually caused by HSV type 2.

First read in 2014. As seems to be common with this author, this is part one (of four) of an erotic romance serial.
Lindsay is contracted to be gay millionaire Michael’s fake girlfriend for a year. She cannot be involved with any other man at all, can visit an exclusive sex club instead, catering for women only.
Part one mostly sets the story up, not a whole lot really happens - and I have only read part two, not the whole serial (part ones are always free for this author). Firstly, Lindsay is an utter thicko to be signing something she hasn’t properly read, but also thinking Michael is paying her so much money just so she can be his fake gf. Very silly how she doesn’t know him but believes him to be a good guy whilst everyone warning her (who she also doesn’t know) must be wrong. But as I say, this was very much setting the scene.
There was a decent amount of steam which included: blowjobs, dildo/toys used, fingering, mutual masturbation, eating her out, a little voyeurism (Ace spying on her at the club with JJ).
Lindsay’s sister Taylor and her husband Adam are in the book, it sounds like their story was in Pursuit of Passion (which isn’t currently available on Kindle?) but I’ve looked up the synopsis and honestly doesn’t seem like it’s worth the read.

Part one mostly sets the story up, not a whole lot really happens - and I have only read part two, not the whole serial (part ones are always free for this author). Firstly, Lindsay is an utter thicko to be signing something she hasn’t properly read, but also thinking Michael is paying her so much money just so she can be his fake gf. Very silly how she doesn’t know him but believes him to be a good guy whilst everyone warning her (who she also doesn’t know) must be wrong. But as I say, this was very much setting the scene.
There was a decent amount of steam which included: blowjobs, dildo/toys used, fingering, mutual masturbation, eating her out, a little voyeurism (Ace spying on her at the club with JJ).
Lindsay’s sister Taylor and her husband Adam are in the book, it sounds like their story was in Pursuit of Passion (which isn’t currently available on Kindle?) but I’ve looked up the synopsis and honestly doesn’t seem like it’s worth the read.

The story line was decent. There was potential for a great story. The author ended the book with really strong ending (cliff hanger for next book or just ending the current situation). I do not plan to purchase the next book just to continue the same story vs a different adventure along the storyline and character as most series. The book has a lot of unnecessary babble (I took a shower. I washed my hair and rinsed off. I got out and wrapped a towel around me. The doorbell rang.--not exact quotes but very real example).

Zane and Ace are his sons - Ace owns a very discrete high class sex den for wealthy women. Michael includes Lindsay's membership into this club as part of their contract. Very interesting start to the series. I would read this again and again.

Great introduction
Pleasure Extraordinaire is a short, quick read. This story sets up the scene for what is to come for the next set.
Because this read was so short, you get a high level introduction to the characters, the encounters are somewhat brief and focuses mainly on the main character. There is a slight disconnect in the synopsis and the story.
I'm curious to see where this story leads.

part 1
Lots of detailed spice- It’s an interesting idea, my only catch up is that this is clearly part 1 of 4, as in the story isn’t complete until you’ve read the 4th book. They’re each about 200 pages I think so quick reads, but I was upset when the “end” was essentially just a random part of the story they end on before the next book. like the characters tho so I guess the real test will be book 4’s review!

Great smut
I really enjoyed the story. The idea of men choosing you at a pleasure house instead of the other way around is arousing. I definitely enjoyed the spicy scenes. There were a few little editing errors here and there. All in all I liked reading it and plan to keep reading.
