Will a seemingly indestructible luxury hotel survive a devastating hurricane?
An Adventures Unlimited Novel
On an island in the Caribbean, the brand-new Samsara Resort and Spa is promoted as the world’s only indestructible hotel. Samsara offers upscale guests their unique, opulent accommodations that include such technical wonders as indoor beaches with artificial sun to support the concept of disaster-proof vacations—for a price. Disaster-proof island vacations are the marketing brainchild of the developers, who need an infusion of investor cash.
However, the creation and operation of such a fort-like grand hotel is not without its dark secrets and unfortunate development history. One man knows too much, and he’s determined to find a way to spill the truth before they silence him, forever.
As an unexpected hurricane gathers speed, its imminent destruction blasts straight for the island. Now, it’s time to prove the indestructible claim to investors who are trapped there, along with some formidable guests who may come in handy if things take a turn for the worse. And turn, they do! Even a lock-down during the hurricane has potential security issues for those who want to wreak their own brand of havoc.
Readers will get to know the compelling stories of the a man with a personal problem whose wife is skeptical of investing their retirement money; a family on vacation; the developers with their own greedy agenda; and more people who will come together to either survive the storm—and each other—or destroy the dream in the process.ho will come together to either survive the storm—and each other—or destroy the dream in the process.

Apparently there is a downside to the new Kindle Unlimited (KU) program. I am in my trial period right now and the cover of this book caught my eye. A big explosion in a tall building.....looked very similar to the cover of the Die Hard DVD. Okay, I'll check it out. Just so you know, I am not an author, just a reader. I love action books. Check out my past reviews. Tons of them.
Well, this is NOT an action book. This is a very boring and poorly written story. What the cover had to do with book contents I do not know. Yes, there was a small explosion of sorts in the story, but that was in the pool house-outside, not several stories up in the hotel. This story is like one of those cheap sci-fi movies. Low budget indeed. Another reviewer on Amazon hit the nail on the head when she said this was a "Disjointed story".
I checked out the 5-star reviews and one was from a fellow author and another has given out ALMOST all 5-star reviews (and she had reviewed a lot, but almost all 5's??? What are the odds of that happening? Slim to none). Another 5-star reviewer has only 3 items listed under her reviews, and all 3 were 5-stars. I suspect another author. Yes, I know authors read books too. But this book is so poorly written that when I see 5-stars I know something is up. As mentioned above, 3-stars is stretching things as they are. Another reviewer had reviewed 19 items and this one was her only non 5-star review(she give it 3-stars).
Why did I gave this story two-stars and not one? The idea behind the story had promise even if the story itself did not deliver. For an exciting story during a storm check out: . I read and reviewed (4-5 stars) each of the stories that made up the final collection.
